I bought this book to give me some tourism ideas ahead of a trip to Alicante, Spain.
The author does a great job of uniquely mixing together local history/myths (typically involved Moorish and Christian Princes and Princesses) alongside local knowledge, and tourist recommendations.
Each chapter covers a different area of the Alicante regions, and while I was only in the region for a week, the book provided me with some great recommendations.
I was also amused to see that each chapter included a guide to the most Instagram worthy photo opportunities for tourists. Clearly, the author knows what a modern audience wants! 😊
All in, this is an interesting and fun read for anyone planning on visiting the beautiful Alicante region of Spain.
