Breeze did not want to get involved. He had problems of his own, but when he saw the man on the sailboat punch his partner, he was forced to act. He didn’t need a woman around while he plotted his revenge against the man responsible for Brody’s death. He was on a mission, and this stranger could only slow him down. This thriller culminates on a remote Florida island, where only one warrior will survive – he who can harness the savage within.
The characters and plots are excellent. Breeze is quite the mess, but we could have been great friends. When Captain Fred comes into the picture, I always picture a young Fred Thompson (movie star) he could have played the part well. The thing th a really draws me to the books is the location. I spent a lot of time in South Florida and the keys in my younger days. I lived in a camper just south of Naples for several years in Hendersen creek. I would put my beater 14' v hill in the creek to fish and explore rookery bay every chance I had. If I followed the creek to the Gulf, I was at Keewayden island near dollar bay. When the reference came up at the conclusion of this book I was pleased. I continue to remember the good times and solitude I had. Thanks for the memories. By the way the snook came up the creek to feed regularly and we always practiced filet and release.
Of course I want to be this guy. Most of my water experience is off of the NJ coast as a teenager but during my 21 years in the Army I was blessed enough to spend some time in Florida waters so hearing all the names brings back great memories! Breeze is leading my dream life and I truly enjoy his adventures and the vivid descriptions of his travels! Thanks very much for these great escapes!
I give this book a ten. I have enjoyed all of the breeze series desperately hope that he keeps riding these they there a highlight of my day thank you so much for making our life so much more enjoyable thank you
Mr. Robinson has the ability to provide readers with an accurate description of the life of a sailor looking for adventure both in and out of female company. A good beach read for those wanting to pin in the hunt.
Terrific story and hard to put down. Exciting.going.up against the corruption that we see on.the news daily. Robinson has enough storylines to last a great writer like him a lifetime!! Keep up the great woork.
Once again Ed Robinson has done it! I sacrificed a good night's sleep to finish this book. It was worth it! A great storyline that will keep you turning pages from the first chapter to the last.
I became Breeze's number one fan when he released that giant snook he caught in the Everglades. He spends a lot of time alone in this one, this gives the reader a real good picture of the real Breeze.
Meh. For a non-boat person there is way too much discussion of the tedium on-board living requirements and entirely too much "I" this and "I" that. Seriously, every third sentence seems to start out with "I". B.o.r.i.n.g. plus it's lazy writing.
The adventure never ends, it just gets better. Winter days go by quickly when you have a good book to read. This is another good one. Enjoy a life of adventure, loves and truths. Rock on
