Not a Storm Mc contender!
So I read this book based on the reviews. One specifically said " if you like Nina Levine Storm MC books you'll love this series". That right there made my decision! I love Nina Levine and her Storm MC characters! However this book is NOT even in the same ballpark as the Storm series. This is a completely unrealistic story, characters that aren't great and have no connection with, and the story just didn't flow smoothly! Seriously if an MC read is this bad, how can anyone compare it to near perfection of Storm books?!? This was a struggle to finish and it's a short book! Alex is a completely unrealistic character as president and alpha of an MC! I lost count how many times this "bad@$$ biker" cried! Yes you read correctly, cried!!! He goes from drinking, drugs, to contemplating suicide in order to drown out his depression of losing his brothers, his mind and his wife to a new women, her family and all alpha" I'll protect you" in a matter of pages! WTF?!? Not a fan of this book, the story or characters. I will not be continuing this series! Be warned it is NOT a series like Nina Levine 's Storm MC! It is not imo a great book, more like first draft and needs to be redone before publishing. I commend the author for trying and putting herself and words out there it's just not for me.

Prez/Alex is a broken man. He has lost the love of his life and he walked away from his club. I could feel his pain and was heartbroken for him.
Mikki is running from evil and trying to keep her family safe. When she meets Alex she sees something worth saving.
For me personally I didn’t feel the love connection between them. I don’t think it had enough build up. I still loved the book and loved how everything tied up in the end.

So FREAKING AMAZING
I'm in love with Prez. I didnt know how I was going to feel about this book given what happened with Prez in Clean's book, but by chapter 2 I was in love with Prez and excited to see how his story would play out. Do yourself a favor and read this series start from the beginning with Wire this is a cant miss series.

Amazing story that was well written and the characters were so good. This book broke my heart a few times. But, I enjoyed every word.

Prez redeemed himself with me in this one. I was disgusted with him after Clean’s book, for all the loyalty that he preached he walked away when he needed to be a leader to them. When the book starts he was broken, strung out on both alcohol and drugs, lost in his own despair. He was on a sure-fire path to death if he had not met Mikki. Mikki running from her own set of traumatic issues, mistook Prez for someone that was trying to hunt them down and this meeting would change them both forever. There is yet another air of sadness at the end of this book, it is entangled with the happiness but leaves you wanting a solution that is not as heartbreaking as it is lining up to be. Must read you will love Prez again in the end.

After reading the last book in this series, I wasn’t sure where the author was going to go in regards to Prez. Actually, to be honest, I didn’t care. He left and that was that.
Boy am I glad that she wrote his story, I kinda feel like a a$$ now. It is definitely a book that sucks you in and takes you on a journey about human perserverance, hope, determination and the ability for our hearts to heal when shattered.

Another amazing read in this series! I can not stop reading this series, these men and the battle they are going thru, some with themselves, some with other rivals. Prez has lost his way after the lose he suffered, and one small woman pulled him up and gave him the strength he needed. Can't wait for more!

Prez/Alex thought his world ended when his wife was murdered and he gave up his club then he met Mikki. She gave him a reason to live and a new family. I never really cared about Prez before but now he might be my favorite character. This book is an emotional roller coaster and doesn’t ever let up. You will fall in love.

OMG!!! Prez : A Wings of Diablo MC book 4 by Rae B. Lake is another outstanding addition to this series filled with danger, heartbreak, violence and so much passion. Prez/Alex is a broken man who walked away from his club when his wife was murdered, his clubhouse burning as well as his crew left for dead by Vilanuevas and his men. He is killing himself with drugs and alcohol as he can't escape his wife's death, his only thought is he wants to die. At his lowest moment in his life he happens to come upon two women and a young girl when he makes an effort to help them he gets injured by a beautiful feisty woman named Mikki when they think he means them harm. When she realizes that he is not after them she takes him back to her place, treats his wounds and helps him detox. As these two connect they both are starting to have feelings for each other and give into their desires. With each passing day Prez is getting stronger and decides to protect them from the men that hurt them. When Mikki tells Alex the name of the person who is after them is Vilanuevas he knows he has a choice to make and wants to return home to see who is left from the Wings of Diablo MC. Once they return Prez is shocked to see that Wire, Clean and the rest of the crew alive. Prez will soon find out he will not be easily welcomed for leaving and takes his punishment as all he wants is to redeem himself to his brothers and stay as a member. As Prez and Mikki give into their passion, the chemistry between these two is hotter than hell as he finds he is falling in love with her, even though his heart will always be with Laura. The bond between them is stronger than ever as others around Prez sees he is becoming a different man all due to Mikki.
Now trouble is coming their way from Vilanuevas and his men and once he informs Wire of everything Mikki has told them they agree to work together to take everything from him and bring him down along with Archer and Rooster's Club. But with each strike the tables as turned as Angel, Ink, Vale and Arga are taken. Now the club has no choice but to agree to a meeting to get their people back, but Mikki knows that that are heading towards a trap and warn the others that they need to get back to the clubhouse. After they defend the clubhouse, Prez spots Vilanuevas and looks to Wire to take him down. Will the Cartel be an issue and what does this mean for Angel and the other who are still missing? The Wings MC has vowed to never stop looking for them as they will do all they can to bring them home. Now that everything is calm, Prez and Mikki are starting a life together as a family as Prez has finally been able to give his heart to another. Prez was a freaking amazing book. It starts out with Prez beside himself with grief at the death's of his mc brothers and most of all his wife Laura. He tries to stop the pain by taking drugs and drinking, pretty much throwing his life down the toliet. It all comes to a halt when he meets Mikayla (Mikki), her sister and Mikki's little ward she had taken in. Mikki is on the run from the mob, but in Prez fashion he can not leave her to fend for herself and two children. Over time Prez starts to fall in love with the kids and most importantly MIkki. The story is there journey to rid themselves of their past and to look forward to the future. This book is a definite must read!!!

OMG I can't even begin to describe how fantastic this book was! It was so riveting I couldn't put it down! Prez walked away from his MC and is wallowing in grief over the death of his wife. Then he meets Mikki, who is on the run with her sister and her ward. Prez and Mikki are both determined, loyal, kicka$$, lovable characters. This story was captivating, with strong characters and fast paced action that made this a page turner. You definitely do not want to miss out on Prez and Mikki's story!!!

ONE INTENSE READ!!! Whoa! Fast and furious is definitely the way to go. Yep, talk about falling hard. I do not even know where to begin. I thought the last book was fantastic. Again, this is an unexpected delight in itself. I know, I can not make up my mind. So choose them all. You can not go wrong here, trust me on that. This is a page-turner, smooth flowing wild ride with all the thrills and explosions you can handle.

Oh my goodness, ok a really quick recap Prez has had everything from his MC to his wife. Prez could not take the grief of his loss, he did what he could to end his world alcohol and drugs. But when he meets mikayla her sister and her ward. She thinks that he is trying to hurt them, so she hurts him. She almost left him there but she could not. The person she thinks he was, was actually the same that took everything from him. You will have to read to find out what happened.

Holy cow I'm so drawn into the world of the Wings of Diablo I don't ever want to leave. Prez finally fell to the pressure of being the man in charge. After a downward spiral Mikki and her family changed his life. I'm so happy the brothers accepted him back after they have him his punishment. I'm so happy he's in good place and has his growing family back. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Rae simply out did herself with Prez!! As we learned in the previous books, Prez “Alex” was controlling, arrogant, and narcissistic. When his world came to an abrupt stop he took off his cut and left his family.
In this book Prez was dragged through the trenches. He suffered heartbreak and addiction that was a torturous path.
The raw emotion… the torment… the guilt… the madness… and the pain that was written in this book was simply masterful!!!

This is the first book that I've read from Rae B Lake and I must say I was very pleased. The things poor Prez had to go through was heartbreaking and the same could be said for Mikki, Vida and little Angel. I can't wait to see what comes next. Happy reading!

I couldnt understand how prez could find love so soon after Laura's death but its written so well I so get now how he did

So damn stressful!
I love this series, but it takes you through some things. Prez was a hard read for me because I couldn't stand him due to his actions in the previous books. He definitely redeems himself but what the club has to go through is hard to take. I love the WOD but a restful read, they ain't and I wouldn't change it.

In comes Mikayla and her “sisters”, turning Alex’s (Prez) life in a completely different direction. We are left with so many unanswered questions but I’m looking forward to diving into the next book to see what happens next.

Oh my Lord! I fell so hard for the brutal and arrogant Prez in all his brokenness. Mikki and him were both born to be survivors. The intense heat these two shared practically melted my Kindle!
