Wilson provides an excellent book on purpose and the busyness of life. He coins the term "rodentivity" for busyness. When we are chasing things such as material goods and money, we are a hamster or rodent on a wheel. Instead, we should find our purpose and align with it. For Christians, it begins with aligning with God and Kingdom values. Along the way, there will be difficulties, but eventually acceleration will occur. Despite the book being Christian in scope, there are principles and nuggets of wisdom that can be gleaned. We all have a purpose. It can be difficult to find it, but when we do, our lives are better for it. Busyness is not the answer. We need to reject rodentivity and embrace our purpose. This book will help you do so.

A great reminder on how to and the importance of aligning your pursuits with the purposes of God. This book helped me to cancel out some frustrations that were not conducive to my ultimate purpose.

This book was an excellent and yet challenging read. Often we get caught up in the busyness of life where our activity does not align with our purpose. We need to put self aside. Busyness has become a lifestyle for many which is not what God intended for us. Every person should focus on being aligned with the purpose God has given them. God’s plan is for Him to be our central focus and for us to influence others to do the same which will result in impacting future generation. If you align yourself with God’s vision, He will give you everything you need to fulfill it.
