Misadventures is a romantic series of spicy standalone novels, each written or co-written by some of the best names in romance. The stories are scandalous, refreshing, and, of course, incredibly sexy. They’re the perfect bedside read, a ‘quick blush’ for the reader who loves a page-turning romance.
Elizabeth Hayley is actually “Elizabeth” and “Hayley,” two friends who love reading romance novels to obsessive levels. This mutual love prompted them to put their English degrees to good use by penning their own. They learned a ton about each other through the process, like how they clearly share a brain and have a persistent need to text each other constantly. They live with their husbands and kids in a Philadelphia suburb. Thankfully, their children are still too young to read.

I thought it would be a fun book but it is plain dumb with a stupid plot line and very unlikable characters that don't make much sense.
She goes on blind dates every Wednesday as her sister insists that she needs to have some fun. She meets those guys in a café and all of them turn out to be weirdos. Those weird meetings attract the attention of a guy who happens to be in the café at that time and after her terrible dates, they talk for about 3-5 minutes about how weird her date was and then they go on their separate ways. There is no attraction, chemistry or connection there. Nothing. Not even friendship. Just short conversations on 3 Wednesdays after her terrible dates.
And after a few times of "5 min. chatting", one Wednesday she asks him to be her sex guru. ??!!! Out of the blue! Color me surprised, or shocked!
That was so awkward.
Hey, what did I expect from a book with a title like that - sorry, my bad!
As always Elizabeth Hayley delivers an outstanding, hilarious and witty story that grabbed me from page one.
I fell in love with both Isla and Grayson instantly. Grayson is newly divorced and starting over, he's not looking for a relationship at all. He wants very little to do with women at that point in time, but of course, he still has needs, he's only human after all.
Isla spends most of her time taking care of her sister and focused her time and energy on that and her education and building her career, so when it comes to relationships, she hasn't had much luck. When her sister sets up a profile on an online dating app she's cautious as hell but agrees to go on dates, which end up being a string of horrible dates, just as she is about to give up she spots a man that catches her eye at a coffee shop and she goes in and they hit off and what starts as an agreement between the two, turns into so much more!
I loved this! I love all Elizabeth Hayley books but this one would have to be my favorite to date! It was a quick, hot, and enjoyable read, with amazing characters and flawless writing, it held my attention from start to finish. I couldn't put it down! I couldn't get enough of Isla and Grayson and the authors have left me wanting more of these two!
It's a MUST READ and going into one of my top reads for 2020!
I bought the kindle and the whispetsynced audio. $5 for both! I listened to the audio. I enjoy all of Cj Bloom's narrations. Alexander Cendese is relatively new to me. 3.5 stars. The story heats up towards the middle & really gets hot. The chemistry grows. Isla starts off a little naive, but is a quick and eager student. The watching porn scenes were funny. I would like to read the kindle for a reread. I've really gotten into audios, but I think that this might be better reading it. The author has a lot of descriptions and dialogue. All of the Misadventure books are standalones.
I have been so eager to read this book. I was so happy to be one of the few to recieve the arc copy. Who wouldn't want to read this with a title like Sexpert. I have read their previous books which were way steamier than this one. So I did find myself a bit disappointed. They did have a big strong sexual connection.
Grayson is a photo journalist who life was turned upside down. So he just wants to start new, fresh, and forget the past. He has no time for relationships and their drama. Until he meets Isla one day in a coffee shop. There was attraction at first sight they both just wasn't honest about it.
These ladies … man, I enjoy the heck out of their stories! I’ve only read their contributions to the Misadventures series but every single one has been on point for me! This book made me smile so damn hard you guys! It was truly brilliant fun! The story was super easy with delicious sexual shenanigans mixed with great banter. I just read it this afternoon in a few hours! I couldn’t stop!! Now there’s no more words! *cries*
A great addition to the Misadventures series and another great book from Elizabeth Hayley. This story was full of steam, laughs and plenty of fun.
Isla doesn’t have the best luck when it comes to dating. She visits a coffee shop weekly for dates, however, the men all turn out to be less than ideal. Grayson loves drawing comics, so when he notices a woman always at the coffee shop on dates, he decides to draw them. Grayson and Isla form a semi friendship, mostly they come to an agree to help each other. Grayson gets to continue draw his comics and Isla gets some sex lessons.
I loved the chemistry between Grayson and Isla. Their relationship was great, I loved how easy going felt between them. There were so many funny and steamy moments between them. Gray and Isla at the Love Den was one of my favorites, you could feel how uncomfortable Isla was, but also her curiosity.
Misadventures with a Sexpert is such a fun read. It will have you laughing and swooning the entire time. This is a book you’ll start and not put down until you’ve reached the end. A MUST READ!
I really enjoy this series, so I expected to like this one too. It was such a sweet, at times hilarious read. I always find myself amazed at how much I love all the instalments of this series. There are so many different authors, topics, even genres mixed in but somehow, it just works. Every time I finish one Misadventure, I start looking forward to the next one. I hope it last for a long time and new authors get added to the team.
I thought one of the last few books I read in the series was my least favorite, but after this one, I think this one takes the spot on my 'not a huge fan' list.
The book started out great. I found it funny and loved the cartoons Grayson did and the hilariously bad dates Isla was going on. The whole sexpert thing was honestly just out of left field and didn't make sense. They were pretty much strangers, having only met a few times in a coffee shop while Grayson was creeping on Isla and her dates. But yet Isla decides she wants Grayson to be her sex tutor so that she's less awkward and can find a good guy? I'm not sure how knowing how to have great sex means you attract the right type of guy from the get-go. That doesn't compute in my mind. So the plot of this one was just a little too far-fetched and awkward for me.
My biggest issue is that the H/h are not exclusive. Yes, I knew she was going on dates with other guys, but we all knew they were going to be epic fails and innocent coffee dates. And I knew they were doing the 'sexpert' thing and Isla and Grayson were just sleeping together with no planned intentions to move forward to relationship status in the beginning.
But what really pissed me off was that the author felt it was necessary to take things too far with another man, Hunter. It honestly came out of nowhere for me. This was after Grayson and Isla began developing feelings for one another and after they were essentially dating without labeling it as that. In walks Hunter, a nice guy, don't get me wrong, but Isla keeps going on dates with this guy, all while sleeping with Grayson...until they decide to stop that part of their arrangement so she can date Hunter. That should free up Isla to do what she wants, but it honestly felt all kinds of wrong and icky and I lost my respect for Isla in that moment. She gets as far as they're a second away from making things irreversible with Hunter in bed before she changes her mind. I don't see how you can love and want another man, but yet be willing to sleep with someone you have no interest in just a few days after you and your supposed love decide to part ways. It was all kinds of wrong and I felt terrible for Hunter since Isla just led him on. This part of the book wasn't one that took up a lot of chapters, just a few, but it was enough to tarnish my opinion of the entire book and that's just sad. Because I was totally on Team Grayson & Isla before that.
Anyways, obviously I'm in the minority here and you may like it, I just wanted to warn others since that part isn't really disclosed and for me, it was a no-no. It wasn't necessarily cheating, which I refuse to read, but it was close enough for me.
I've read books by these authors before and I really like there style of writing its always flows and I love the Misadventures book series and this is another great addition. This book is fun, flirty hot and steamy and some moments were real laugh out loud.
Isla takes care of her sister and her parents death and they are very close to each other. Isla is a beautiful woman but her dating history is not all that good. She has started to go to the coffee shop Bean every week to try and find what she looking for. The thing is that every date she has is so different and so not what she needs and all she wants to find is her Mr Right but has she already done that and not yet realized?
Grayson has had it tough especially when he found his wife cheating on him with his best friend and he has decided to start over. Grayson is a journalist and a guy that loves to draw comics and is desperate to do so for the paper. But needs to prove to his boss that they are worth it to take a chance on. He starts going to to the coffee shop every Wednesday and this is where he sees Isla and over hears all her disastrous comical dates.
Grayson and Isla both form quite a bond and they both make a pact together to help each other out, her to increase her sexual knowledge and him with his drawings. They both have great sexual chemistry and the bar is set very high the connection that they have is strong.
I loved how these characters were with each other and the way that there relationship was developing and Grayson made me laugh with hi drawings and how and what they represented. The author has written a fantastic hot and steamy book that has great moments of fun inside. I love hoe this story flowed and how great this journey is that these characters go on and this book is a real page turner. The romance is beautiful and you will not be able to stop turning the pages of this book or put it down because once you have started reading this book you will need to see where it goes and what happens.
Finally got around to reading one of the Misadventure books and regret not picking up one sooner. Elizabeth Hayley ladies have been on my radar for a while and their latest contribution to this series didn't disappoint. Life can bring you perfect adventures that you remember for that moment. Sometimes life brings you curveballs like misadventures that might even result in something better then you can imagine beyond your wildest dreams and creates series of moments that can last forever.
Isla and Grayson are two perfect strangers with hang ups about love and dating. Isla is still searching for the one who can give her what she she craves and Gray has experienced it and been left jaded. When their paths crash, it puts them both in an interesting situation when Gray agrees to be her sex guru.
It seems far fetched, two perfect strangers meeting at a cafe and becoming intrigued about the other that they come up with a crazy pact. But does work. Gray is worldly you can tell by how he instinctively captures the dates in the illustrations and his comments to Isla. Which Isla needs poor girl.
Isla was hilarious, she was clueless when she wasn't in her comfort zone and you wanted to give her helping hand. She using technology to find her way through her needs and is having some interesting responses. The people she met could sum up the dating scene in general. This girl need a wake up call and her adventures had me hooked. The authors had the timing perfect for this story. She need to gain the confident and kiss a few frogs to find her needs and I love her journey to find herself.
Her no nonsense approach to things was the perfect balance to Grayson and I wanted more by the end. He need to throw caution to the wind and let himself free of the past. I can't wait to read more from these two as this was definitely lived up to the Misadventure promise.
Ever since her parents passed away the only relationship that Isla has been focused on is with her sister. That is about to change as her sister has convinced her to join a dating app and that is when the fun really begins. She arranges to meet her dates at a coffeeshop but so far it has been more a case of mistakes than matches.
After being betrayed by those he thought he could trust Grayson has moved to town to leave the painful memories in his past. He has been a bystander to Isla’s attempts at dating and has started drawing comics about her experiences in the hopes that the paper where he works will print them.
They agree to a quid pro quo where he will help her with the physical intimacy part of relationships, and she will help him create the comics that will give him the career he really wants. A simple arrangement, nothing more, nothing less what could possibly go wrong?
These two were so much fun together and the chemistry between them is undeniable as they prove that sometimes the best things happen when you least expect it.
I’m saying this... I have been supposed to start this book. But kept pushing it back. I was glad I finally got around to actually reading it.
I wasn’t at all disappointed in this storyline. I figure that both Grayson and Isla was going to fall for each other. When he was helping her through her dates and being her Sexpert. I was just curious as to who was going to fall first.
To me it was Grayson, but he felt that he didn’t want to engage in a relationship with her nor did he want anything more which is a relationship.
But I was glad that both of them figure things out with each other. Because for one Isla liked Grayson as much as she liked him. It took her meeting the second Hunter for both of them to realize that was more than friends with each other.
I also realize her sister didn’t pop up anymore after their talk that was interesting.
Misadventures with a Sexpert by Elizabeth Hayley. This book is a part of the Misadventures Series, but can be a standalone book if you wish to do so. This is the story of Grayson Hawkins and Isla Scott. Grayson was betrayed by his wife and best friend, so he left to start a new life which leads him to Isla. Isla is looking to span her sexual education which leads her to Grayson. A deal is struck between the two to help each other out her with his art and him with her sexual education. But their deal starts to have issue with their feelings become involved. Really enjoyed this book and hope to read more from this author.
Once again Elizabeth Hayley provide a story that is filled with fun, warmth, sex, humor and love... At times, I laughed out loud, and towards the end I was actually crying. Isla and Grayson's meeting wasn't something either of them expected to happen, but neither was the feelings that grew from attraction and friendship into love... through a chance meeting and some talk, they decided to use each other for sex... her to improve her knowledge and expertise and him, well, just to get lucky.... He was not looking for love and she was looking for something to help her when real love came along...neither dreaming they were the real deal for each other.... Great Read!
Booooooo!!!! I liked the idea of this story a lot. There was one moment where while looking for dates she picked a Hunter, who ended up being a female but rode out the date and it was fine. Like, so sorry, mis-gendered you. I guess I can forgive it as they had a cute date still. Wasn't the most cringey thing ever.
But at the end a joke was made, "lesbihonest" and it was poorly done.
There is not one dang thing wrong with being a lesbian. There's nothing wrong with being bi. There's nothing wrong with being bi-curious. There is something wrong with a hetero couple poking fun at those experiences.
I really loved this misadventure! Elizabeth Hayley are still kind of new to me authors (this is a duo) but I loved their other misadventures books and this also hit the spot. It's funny, sweet, sexy and the chemistry between Isla and Grayson grows the more time they spend together. Another great story for the misadventures series!
Misadventures with a Sexpert is a sensual romance about a single woman wanting to gain more experience in the bedroom. Elizabeth Hayley brings their signature sexy and sassy writing style with this book. Add in two characters with amazing chemistry and you've got yourself a 5 star read!
Isla is looking for Mr. Right but continues to struggle in the dating game. She doesn't want to give up but she wants to have more experience in the bedroom. When she goes to her 'dating spot', a coffeehouse, she meets Grayson. He has seen her on her dates and captures them in his drawings. Isla catches a glimpse of them and they start up a conversation. Their connection is unexpected but the sparks are there.
One thing leads to another and Isla and Grayson make a pact. He will be her sex guru if he can use his drawings of her dates on Instagram. It's a win-win.
I loved all of their interactions. They were always open and honest and it helped in the bedroom. ;) Elizabeth Hayley gives shines with their steamy scenes but also captivates you with the most vulnerable moments between Grayson and Isla.
I give Misadventures with a Sexpert 5 stars. It's a sexy read with an unexpected bond between a divorced man and a single woman looking for Mr. Right. There are so many great moments that will make you blush, swoon, and laugh.
Yet an other amazing read by Elizabeth Hayley bu yet an other amazing misadventure book! Absolutely Loved this story and Honestly can not wait to reread it! Definitely one of my favorites in the Misadventure Series! Ya'll have got to read this book!
Misadventures with a Sexpert begins with Grayson Hawkins at work having yet another unwanted conversation with his boss at the Daily Gazette. After leaving the meeting, in which he has been told he has to take over their social media accounts, he heads out and ends up at a local coffee shop, the Coffee Bean. He discovered the place when he’d moved out of the city several months ago after going through a divorce that left him hurt and angry. He has been trying to find his passion for drawing again, but not having much luck.
Isla Scott has promised her sister that she will go along with her plan to date more. Isla picked the Coffee Bean as the place to meet her prospective beaus. To say things didn’t go well was a bit of an understatement. For one reason or another, the ones coming in had been all wrong for her. Some of them hilariously wrong.
Grayson couldn’t help but notice Isla and wonder what she was up to. He found himself intrigued with Isla and her ‘experiment’. Once he figured out what she was actually doing, he made it his duty to be there every week when Isla was meeting up with her prospective dates. Eventually, Grayson approached Isla and told her she had made the right decision in letting her current prospect go. Isla had noticed Grayson before, but hadn’t given it much thought. Grayson then asked Isla if she’d like to join him. As she was about to decline the offer, she noticed his drawing of the prospect who had just left. After commenting on the drawing, she left.
The next week, Isla was at the Coffee Bean once again, waiting on the next one, only to be let down……again. Isla then approached Grayson and figured out that he had been sketching all of her encounters, which made her laugh. From there, the two of them form a friendship of sorts. However, once they start getting to know each other, Isla confesses that she’s not very experienced when it comes to men and makes an offer to Grayson: the two of them could be friends with benefits and he could teach her things about sex. Not that she was a virgin, but as stated before, she didn’t have much experience.
Grayson found himself stunned and excited at the same time. Isla had become his muse, of sorts, and he had found his passion for drawing again. So, why not? As the two of them get to know each other, two things are certain: their chemistry is off the charts and their friendship easy. However, when Isla finally meets a guy she’s interested in, why is Grayson at the forefront of her mind? And why does Grayson feel so confused about Isla finally meeting a good guy? After all, the both of them had been so sure of the ground rules they had put in place.
Misadventures with a Sexpert is a great addition to the Misadventures series. The characters are relatable and nicely written. The chemistry between Isla and Grayson is off the charts. I loved their interactions and found myself laughing out loud at times. If you’re a fan of the Misadventures series, and just romance in general, you’ll love the world Hayley has created in this installment. Well done, Elizabeth Hayley!
Welp. It's December 19, 2020 ... and I finished the book September 6, 2020. I mean, thank you [I guess] past me, for doing kinda the minimum of marking when you finished the book (considering I didn't even do that for a bunch of them ... >.<)
But ... not jotting down any of my thoughts is SUPER UNHELPFUL. :|
Isla and Grayson are cute. She has all her failed dates and he eavesdrops and draws the cartoons ... and they become friends and SERIOUSLY THEY'RE DATING but since they don't LABEL it both of them pretend they aren't. 🙄
And so the conflict happens when Isla "continues to date" which ... actually I guess she does.
BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?! I WAS OKAY WITH IT - because if you don't lock it down, if you're all "THIS IS ALL ONLY SEX ALWAYS ONLY EVER SEX AND NOTHING MORE" ... you knew she was looking for love and THAT'S WHAT YOU GET.
I don't think she ever slept with the other guy - maybe just made out with him? [Honestly other than her heart not being in it - I'd have been okay if she did sleep with him I think, DEPENDING ON HOW IT WAS WRITTEN.]
That being said ...
I think it kinda petered out? Like the conflict dragged/was meh ==> the bigger thing though is ... the title is misleading. I know it's "whatever" but I guess I expect more from indies/that they be more on point? Like I was thinking actual sexpert/guru type. But ... Grayson is just your regular dude. [Maybe a bit of a man whore in college? Ish?] Can't remember.
OH AND HIS EX. UGH.
I miiiiight be mixing up this book with another re: the ex; cuz I'm totally thinking some book set in the UK ... but this one I think ... [did she start up with Grayson's friend? Or no?] But anyway he does go and pick up some of his stuff I think and is like "yeah no F this."
Considering I'm remembering all those details - and I know some stuff annoyed me but I wasn't "burn this shit down" - this book probably deserves a C. And maybe time has made me more generous than I would've been had I written this ~review as soon as I finished it ... BUT THAT'S WHAT YOU GET, PAST ME. And if/when I re-read this book and am like "WTF, past self who wrote this review" - well I guess we'll see.
Isla Scott seeks to enhance her sexual repertoire, and she’s using every available app to do so. Well- begrudgingly so. Her sister may or may not have had a hand in her dating app profiles as well...
But no matter what buttons she pushes, she isn’t having much luck during her frequent coffeehouse dating rendezvous. So far, she’s only encountered duds, creepers, and jerks. So how can a girl get some- well... "personal attention"- when all she sees are losers everywhere. Until she sees Grayson Hawkins doodling at a table. And something in her sparks a fire...
Grayson Hawkins’s marriage fell apart when he caught his wife with his best friend. Determined to leave heartbreak in the past, he's sworn off women and distractions to start over in a new town. Which is perfect for anyone after a breakup, really: A clean slate, a new coffeehouse, new friends and co-workers. A fresh page on which he can draw his illustrations. But being the social media mogul for his company and working editing on images instead of drawing? That's not his thing.
Until he eyes Isla. And everything changes.
Grayson and Isla form an unconventional pact where he agrees to be her sex guide to help her gain the experience and attention she desires in trade for permission for him to sketch her comical dates for his newspaper’s Instagram page. Their attraction is undeniable. Their chemistry is palpable, and their adventures in the bedroom? Two words- QUE. PICANTE!
But such a pact doesn’t come without pitfalls, and Isla must make a decision. Does she apply her newfound knowledge on one of her dates when he presents himself by accident? Does she go after him and leave her guru in the dirt? Or will she realize her "sexpert" was always the one for her?
This reminds me a bit of "Fifty Shades of Grey" and "Perfectly Adequate." It's fun, it's sweet, it's sexy, it's spicy...I love it so much! <3 Good job, ladies!
Elizabeth Hayley have done it! I have had the HONOR of being if the lucky few to receive an ARC of Misadventures with a Sexpert! They grabbed my attention right from the start. This is on my TOP 5 favorites of the Misadventures series now!
So, where to begin??
Grayson is a recently divorced photojournalist. He's starting over and just wants to get his life back in order. He has NO interest in relationships or anything that could involve getting close to another woman. He enjoys his solitude, but he still is a man after all.
Isla is focused, and possibly one of the most cautious women there could be. She spent most of her adult life rasing her sister and working on getting her education and career off the ground. She has no time for dating.
When Islas sister sets her up on a dating App. Isla is VERY hesitant. She however agrees to give it a try. After awful date after date she's about to give up until she Notices Grayson a few tables down.. they start talking and he is as amused as she is at her horrible online dating experience.
They for a bond, and even make an agreement to go her and her inexperienced ways. The sparks fly and eyes are opened!
THIS is a must read! It gives you EVERYTHING and keeps you wanting more. Once you start you won't want to put it down!
Isla Scott seeks to enhance her sexual repertoire, and she’s using every available app to do so. Her sister has basically pushed her into online dating, as she doesn't want Isla to become a spinster with 37 cats.
Grayson Hawkins’s marriage fell apart when he caught his wife with his best friend. Emotionally bankrupt, he’s left her and his high-pressure job to start over in a new town. A clean slate for the artist. A new coffeehouse to patronize. A fresh page on which he can draw his illustrations.
When Grayson see's Isla at the same coffee house 'dating' her online guys, he takes interest. He draws her dating romances as cartoon characters and begins posting them online with Isla's permission of course.
Isla makes a proposal of sorts to Grayson. Would he sleep with her so she can gain experience in the sex department? Grayson tells her that he isn't a Dom or Master but he does have sex experience and could help / work with her.
Isla & Grayson do hit it off in the friendship department. They get along very well together. Isla starts depending on Grayson's point of view, his knowledge.
Will Isla be able to break things off with Grayson when they are ready to part ways or will Isla want to keep him?
I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.
This book pulled me in from page one and didn’t let go!! Absolutely hilarious in parts and kept me smiling throughout! In the story we meet Isla and Grayson. Poor Isla has agreed to let her sister Olivia try and hook her up with dates through a dating app feeling that her older sister should have some companionship of some kind in her life. Unfortunately things don’t go as Olivia hoped for her sister with the whole using a dating app. Grayson has recently moved to the area do to getting a divorce and working for a paper that he’s hoping to show off his artistic skills unfortunately that’s not happening yet but his boss tells him if he can turn around their social media and attract new followers he will let him incorporate his drawings in articles. So he has to figure out how to do what’s asked but comes up with nothing until he happens to notice Isla on a blind date and things spark bringing on ideas of what he could do to improve the followers for his work. ~~ Overall it was a great story that pulls you in and you get lost it’s a wonderful escape and you root for Isla and Grayson. You turn the pages just to see what could happen for them and it’s over to soon but so worth it!! Highly recommend it’s a must read!!
4.4 stars This is one series that brings the fun with the entertainment as readers enjoy the ups and downs of Grayson and Isla. Grayson is a photo journalist who left his previous job and moved when his life was uprooted by his cheating ex-wife. Now he wants nothing to do with relationships and the havoc they can bring. However, when he sees Isla in a coffee shop, he just cannot stop his attraction to her. Isla is a woman who grew up before her time as she had to take care of her younger sister after the death of their parents. Up until now, Isla has put her sister first and is just starting to come out of her shell to start dating again after some less than stellar experiences. Each week, Isla has a new prospective date that seems to go more wrong with each man that shows up. Eventually, Isla and Grayson come to an arrangement. Will they both realize what is staring them right in the face? This is another enjoyable addition to the Misadventures series. The chemistry between the characters will make you laugh and put a smile on your face with some steamy scenes included. I look forward to reading the next installment in this series. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.
With humor and heart, Elizabeth Hayley gives us a friends-with-benefits relationship that quickly becomes so much more.
Feeling the urge to "get out there" more, Isla steps hesitantly into the pool of online dating. After meeting more than a few duds, she decides to ask fellow Bean coffee shop regular, Gray, to enter into a no-strings attached relationship with her so she can be a little more confident when she finally meets "The One". She only planned on it being a temporary arrangement, so why does Gray seem to belong in her life permanently?
Gray has been searching for inspiration for his drawings, but keeps coming up dry. Overhearing/eavesdropping on Isla's dates give him inspiration he never saw coming - much like Isla herself. Convinced he's broken after love failed him in marriage, he tells himself he can do casual with Isla, but who's fooling whom?
I had a good feeling about the book when I began chuckling in chapter 2. I was invested in Gray & Isla getting together from the get-go. I loved their banter and the book held my attention til the end.
I recommend this steamy, sweet and heartwarming read.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
Another really comical Misadventure from Elizabeth Hayley! They always do a great job giving us loveable characters, Isla and Grayson were no different! I love how their romance started, making the best out of a ridiculously awkward situation. Same place same time, Grayson finds himself drawn to Isla and her "dates" in more ways than one. Isla seems in luck when she notices the handsome stranger in the same coffee shop she is parading her online dates in trying to put on a happy face. Gray and Isla have an instant esay and flirtatious connection and when they mix easy banter with sex Isla thinks she has hit the jackpot. Gray can be her sex guru while she finds Mr. Right. Sex always complicates things and Isla finds herself trapped between the friend zone and secretly wishing Gray were the only man in her life. Gray has made it clear that he's not emotionally available but can't seem to get enough of you Isla. This was a quick read but as always a sexy ride with lots of laughs! It was a fantastic friends to lovers romance. Elizabeth Hayley keep it real and always have fun and sexy things up their sleeves. I do hope this isn't their last Misadventure!!
