Learn about Swagger, OpenAPI, and a little CS as a bonus. This was an easy-to-follow book with code that was also easy to use and follow.

I was a little new to web APIs and this book helped fill in several gaps with clear explanations.

Great OpenAPI book and great starting point if you are just starting with APIs, good examples shown with the reasoning behind design decisions taken.

I would say that this book is more for beginners, but it's 300+ pages.
Expected more sophisticated practises for make designs

Really liked the way the author explains OpenAPI with a nice startup story background showing a simplified but complete software development lifecycle.
