3.5 stars. I got bored. After the revelation in the previous book I was expecting Lily to come back with a vengeance and in the beginning she does and it’s awesome. She’s a warrior queen with Cerb, monsters and cool tricks and then she’s not. After the guys are back she’s just chasing after Clay and getting outsmarted at every turn. In the end it comes down to daddy issues and the journey for me was pretty much are we there yet. There were a few little twists but for the most part it’s an against the clock chase but finding time for sex. Favourite character was Cerb.

Well here I am. Finished book 2 and I loved it just as much as book 1.
Lily is a great FL and she saves the men! She isnt rescued by big strong men. The storyline is fantastic and i cried at the ending having to let go. Honestly i would love this book to be bigger and more drawn out but I also love it just the way it is. Unpredictable and engaging. I skipped over the naughty scenes to get back to the story (which is very unlike me)
When Lily Lemon landed on Olympus, she never imagined she was one of the reincarnated gods. In her mind, she is who she is, and nothing will ever change that. Determined to save the kingdom she's been given, she dives head-first into the secrets that surround the throne. She detests the fact that there are those who are determined in usurping her and taking what she's been given. It hurts to know that so many lives have been taken, and all for the whim of a god who wants everything he thinks he is due.
A lovely addition to this series, Warrior Queen keeps us on the edge of our seats with every turn of the page. I love the fact that Lily refuses to back down from what she believes in. She's been dealt so much in so short a time, yet she continues on, unwilling to settle for the pain and heartache that constantly surrounds her. Through it all, she leans upon the shoulders of the men she's come to love.
Karpov Kinrade and Liv Chatham have done a beautiful job in setting up the lore for these books. Mind you, they've changed things in such a way that it still piques the reader's interest. I do so hope we get to see more of Lily and the others. Theirs is a broad world that's worth exploring at every turn.
I had high hopes for this book, after liking the first one so much. I honestly don’t think it lived up to it, thought it was still a decent story. We meet new characters and see some of the same ones as well. We find out about the history of a couple of characters, which is cool. The pacing was a little too fast for my taste (which made conflicts too easy to deal with) and there was way too much sex (that didn’t seem to have a plot point, it just seemed like filler). Every once in a while you can tell which author is writing which part, but it’s not too bad. The twists were good. The ending made me a little teary eyed, which doesn’t happen too often when I read. I do think the story could have been better, but it was still decent. I am voluntarily reviewing this book, gifted to me by the author with no obligation.
The last book left me hanging on the edge. This second part to Lily’s story did not disappoint. Lily is such a strong character. Her knowledge of being the god that she is happens to be a game changer and gives her an edge no one can expect. Her lemon quotes a quirky and made me laugh. This is a great story to teach that the underdog can come out on top and that humanity towards others is beneficial. This book was very hard to put down. It had all of the things I love most in a good book. I would highly recommend reading this highly anticipated follow up book to Dungeon Queen. If you haven’t read Dungeon Queen you will want to read it first. It’s worth it.
I really hate it’s over but I did enjoy the ride. I love the chemistry KK and Liv have it’s seamless. I honestly can’t tell who’s wrote what and I love that. Greek mythology just gets me anyways and is a weakness. I really enjoyed Lily’s characters, all the guys. I do hate that it’s over. They could have easily done another book- which I believe that was in the cards but current events busted that.
The gods are dead, Prometheus is back, and nothing is as it seems.
Lily and the boys are back in the amazing conclusion to Dungeon Queen.
What a great finale - not that anyone who reads Karpov-Kinrade are surprised.
Lily’s journey will make you excited, sad (at one point the page was blurry from my crying), and perhaps a little jealous that you aren’t her Because I mean really who wouldn’t want to be a Greek God?

Just like the first book, it will pull you in right from the start!
Again, it was so much fun to read the traditional myths juxtaposed against the authors' ideas of just what these gods and goddesses may have been up to in the times since they roamed our world and shaped our legends. And of course, in the usual Karpov Kinrade fashion, this story has some wonderful plot twists. I thought it was a great conclusion to this duet, even though I'm sad to say goodbye to these characters!
Wow! What an awesome end to this series! Not going to lie, I’ve been crying off and on finishing this. I love when authors have the ability to bring you so far in to the story that you feel everything that happens. This was such an amazing series. It’s a great length and the perfect amount of description. I loved it!
I enjoyed this, but it all felt a little rushed. It was action packed and full of steamy parts, but I felt like I was racing through the story. That is the only reason for 4 vs 5 stars for me. Still highly recommend these authors and you should definitely check out this series if you enjoy Greek mythology.
I agree with other reviewers, too short but great!
I could see this plot being spread over a couple of books and flesh out some of the details. It was good, but I get more could have been explored to be satisfactory. Some story lines were left superficial and I would have loved more scenes on those. But I liked this two book series.
I'm a little disappointed. I enjoyed the first book and the characters so much. This book though seemed rushed and everything crammed within a few short pages. As short as these books were it could have been one book. I still liked the story and the characters but did not enjoy reading it if that makes sense.
So much love for this series! I was first attracted by the cover, then the storyline just grabbed me and wouldn’t let go. I love mythology. THEN I started reading... and fell head over heels. I adore all the research that went I to this book, and the unique twists gave it that “something special”. I highly recommend!
Warrior Queen is an awesome book.. If you love the Greek history and mythology.. You will love this book.. I loved reading it and could not put it down. The main characters are wonderfully described as with having powerful godly skills. Warrior Queen is definitely worth a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating.. because it keeps you on your toes.. The ending is a shocker that I didn't see coming.
I loved this book! Lily is an amazing character who really grows in the two books to become an amazing queen! The only “con” is that I wish there was more to this story!
The second and last book in the dungeon queen series. It was a good book. Very unique, different then normal Greek Gods books. The ending was good as well. Well written.
Great ending to an amazing series that had a great twist on Greek mythology and several twist and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end!
Karpov Kinrade never lets me down. I just ADORE every single title they put out. This book had me on my toes the whole time trying to figure out what was next.
I really enjoyed this book. Lily is an amazing character and her being able to remember both her human and God life was interesting. I loved the lemon puns. Seeing the other gods and goddess was fun
All hail Queen Lily! What an exciting book. I went through so many emotions reading this sequel. The ending was perfect, even though I want more adventures with Ladron, Mirk and Torak. This is joining Dungeon Queen on my list of favorite books!
Ugh I wish the story would keep going! I went in such a roller coaster of emotions with this series. I enjoyed see Lily grow in the story. I couldn’t tell where one author began and the other ended. I loved the conclusion.
Lily is back to finish what she started. I was thrilled to return to the world of Greek mythology and finish Lily's tale. I couldn't put it down. I still struggled with the harem part but was able to enjoy the story overall. I highly recommend this book.
I loved this book so much! It was so good! I love the characters and the bonds that they built. This book was intense, filled with twists and I just wanted more! Definitely a must read!
I enjoyed the first book of this duology for the most part, and the second book was okay for me. To be fair, I also feel like I'm in a reading funk, so I don't know if that's colored my perspective. I have also determined after reading a few RH books from these authors (my first RH books), that RH is not my thing.
Another great book. Keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes it very hard to put down. Love the incorporation of all the Greek Gods and myths. Definitely a great read.
