Caution: take a seat, fasten your seat belt, and prepare yourself for a roller coaster of a ride.
Definitely a quick yet exciting read. The author didn't mess around with any distracting subplots or unnecessary world building. She got to the nitty gritty which resulted in a fast paced page turner read. But. that made for a superficial story that could have been so much better if fleshed out and given more depth. The in your face central characters were well matched and I enjoyed their quick meet to mate claiming journey but the wham bam thank you ma'am quickness was a turn off for me. If it hadn't been for the actual story surrounding that aspect I definitely would have had a totally different opinion on the overall book.
What worked for me the best was the character dynamics between the central and secondary cast. The world building here was more of a teaser but ... damn ... I loved how the sisters fought among themselves until an external force had them teaming up into one. This series could go many different ways but I hope the author is able to keep the sisters together after each is mated. ;)
The one erotic menage adult content scene did work in terms of HAWT action and kinkiness. Enjoyed that but again a longer book length with more would have worked so much better in terms of how these two alpha dominant men handled the bratty Scarlet. But alas.
I will be looking for the followup installments to this promising series. I can't wait for Gabby and Whitney's stories. Love to see snarky independent strong females meet alpha males. The sexual tension and strong willed battle for supremacy sort of thing will have me pulling out my credit card every time.

I didn't really like this.
One human woman with a mark for every couple Alpha males. Their mark starts to burn near each other and that's how they know they've found the one(s).
They all know they have fated mates but everyone still sleeps around. The women are expected to leave their lives and everything behind for their mates. They are also forced to attend a gathering at age 30 to meet their mates whether they want them or not.
The heroine of this book is feisty but she more or less accepts all the archaic rules in the male-dominated world she's forced into. Her mates are the leaders of this world. They're not terrible men/wolves but they also have no idea what the women go through.
There are no sweet or loving emotions that rescue the romance in this book. The men just want their mate because she's theirs. They never try to get to know her or have any meaningful conversation. After they have sex, they just decide to get to know each other and figure everything out "later".
Do not recommend.

Ahwooooooooooh!!!! Ok, that was my wolf call, for those of you who haven't picked up on that yet lol.
Scarlet was an amazingly hot little story, and if this is the type of story that Celia Kyle writes about, I am so on board. Her writing style has a smart as flair to it, and I'm immediately sure that I want to do shots with Celia Kyle. She has a sense of humor, and an amazing imagination (for which I am now immensely grateful!)
Let's start, shall we? First we meet Scarlet, the oldest of the Wickham triplets (that means more books in the series!!). She is a firestorm of personality, and I immediately get a little girl crush on her. See, in this book if you are 30 and unmated you get to go to the Gathering, which is like a big wolfy speed-dating marathon. Lucky for the Wickham triplets, none of them are mated. Except none of them are happy about this Gathering!!! I don't see why the heck not, in their world if you bear the Mark it means you are getting mated to two Alpha males. Double the pleasure, double the fun... So when these triplets get to the Gathering, and the first thing Scarlet does is school a couple of douchey wolves, and get them kicked out, I know she is completely awesome. And so do Keller and Madden, who right away sense she is their mate and ask her to talk to them further at dinner.
Ok, I am not going to spoil this. But let me tell you... that dinner was HOT, and it wasn't because the chef was cooking on high temps. Holy heck-o-wolf, their meeting at the restaurant was erotic as sweet-baby-wolfen-hell. Seriously, if it doesn't make you sweat, then you should go to the doctor cause there is something wrong with you. And then soon after, they are supposed to go get to know eachother a little bit better... Except those asshats come back, and need to be dealt with.
Oh yeah, that means there is some awesome action in this book too, which I am a complete sucker for. And then its back to the hotter-than-a-sauna-on-fire other type of action.
This book was fantastic, and I am eagerly waiting to hear how things go for Scarlet's sisters, Gabby and Whitney. If you are into wolfy menage, and you probably are if you are like me, then this book will be a must read!!

I received this book for an honest review.
I don't know about you but I personally do not like being forced to do anything. Being forced to be with a guy I know nothing about is one of them...However; would I jump in Scarlet's shoes in this story? Hmmm, Yummy tall dark and handsome men, YES PLEASE!!!
Scarlet and her sisters on the other hand are not too keen on being dragged to a Gathering of Marked women and Alpha pairs where it is possible that they will be drawn to a pair of complete strangers against their will. Scarlet and her strong willed, my way or the highway attitude is easy to love. She is like the mama of the three girls and very protective of her sisters.
Keller & Madden are total opposites but somehow balance each other out and make a great Alpha pair. They are Alpha born leaders, but will they have what it takes to have their way with Scarlet? Will Scarlet know what to do with two super hot dominate men? Can she handle what it would mean to be mated with the Alpha pair?
Celia, I enjoyed this yummy treat and felt like I was being teased begging for release. It was slow, but in a good way. A little on the short side, but you still get a good feel for the characters as the story builds. Well written, in different POVs so you get a look into not only Scarlet but the guys too.
I can't wait to read more of this series, and will be recommending this to anyone looking for a hot and sexy read.

Scarlet and her sisters are all summoned to the gathering where werewolves sniff the chosen females who are born with the marks to show they are werewolf mates. Only problem is only two of the sister actually have the mark so why is the third sister summoned? They're anxious, angry and a little scared because who knew what their mates would turn out to be like. At the gathering the werewolves sniff the females to see if they're mates and they seem to know right away if they are. Scarlet seems to know fairly early that Keller and Madden are her mates because her mark tingles when she's near them.
The only problem is another pair of werewolves seems to think that Scarlet is their mate and they challenge Madden and Keller to a fight to the death to claim her. This novella is packed with information, action, romance and plenty of smexy time.
I already love this author so it's no surprise that I loved this first book in the series and now I want to go read more from this series because it definitely stated out fun. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to the other two sisters and who their mates end up being.

Scarlet is book one in the Alpha Marked series by Celia Kyle.
This is a re-read. I wanted something very hot and dirty, and Scarlet fulfilled that role.
Scarlet is a fun character. She’s strong, determined, and has been avoiding the Gathering where she would have to mate an alpha pair.
Keller and Madden are the ruling alpha pair. They are different yet the same. Very sexy wolf shifters who aren’t afraid to protect what’s theirs.
Scarlet is a quick erotic PNR. It’s got some funny moments along with lots of STEAM. It’s an instant-knowing. I like how strong and deterred Scarlet is as well as her protectiveness to her sisters.
The stories are novella length, but don’t let that miss lead you. It pulls you into the Gathering and makes you want to find your own pair of shifter mates.

This story is short, fast paced, steamy and action packed. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. This book is the first book of Celia Kyle’s that I have read. Because of this, I wasn’t sure on what to expect when starting this story. I found the writing style easy to follow and the characters likeable. I liked Scarlett. I liked that she and her sisters were feisty. They knew what they wanted and what they didn’t. What turned out to be a forced to attend gathering resulted in her finding love. I liked Keller and Madden. I liked them both but I liked Madden a little more. I liked how growly and possessive he were of Scarlett. I liked that Scarlett was able to calm both of her mates and make them listen. The chemistry between Madden, Keller and Scarlett is undeniable.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I can’t wait for Gabby’s book, I need it now.

Great read if...you like PNR, short reads, sexy reads, MFM (as in no man on man touching), humor, insta love and an HEA.
Side Note: Gotta admit, this series started with a BANG! Fell in love immediately and couldn't get enough until the last page. Even then I was desperately wishing for more. It had everything I love in a book. Easy writing. Good pacing. A bit of surprising, but not surprising action, amazing sex, and characters that were so easy to LOVE. All of them were. And with her being HBIC it set the rest of the series up to be just as incredible.

Overall: Scarlet and her two sisters are thirty years old and are summoned to the Wolf Gathering because of the marks they have on their body except for there sister Whitney. The girls are forced to go to the Gathering, but they are strong and independent woman that don't let any wolf push they around. Once they get at the party two wolves start trouble with Scarlet and she lets them have it, but before the wolves can go crazy on her, two other man step forward and save the day. Scarlet gets on whiff of them and her mark burns and she realizes they are her mates. After this point they have a hot sexual encounter that sets the book on fire and the end kind of sets you up for the next book.
Pros: I liked the idea of the Marking mark that the girls were born with. It was a different twist on a paranormal romance. I also really like how protective Scarlet was over her sisters because I am the same way with mine. Also the hot foreplay at the restaurant was pretty sexy and oh so hot! I also thought it was hilarious the jokes would make towards the wolves and between the sisters.
Cons: I wanted this book to be a bit longer, so that we got a better back story on Madden and Keller. Other than that I really enjoyed the story.

Scarlet attended the mate hunting ceremony with her other two sisters, Gabriella and Whitney, organized by the Ruling Alphas. Then two asshole alphas misbehaved with them resulting those alphas to eliminated from the mate hunting ceremony. Turned out Scarlet's mates were the Ruling Alphas, Madden and Keller. When her mates were about to mate with her, those asshole alphas challenged her mates for their positions and mate as well. Her mates obviously won. And they completed the mating process.
It was an okay read. I was interested in the second book as well but couldn't find the pdf. Anyway, it was really short book with a nice plot.

I enjoyed this book. Scarlet was witty, funny and fearless. She had a no bull shit attitude that I loved. Keller and Madden were true alpha's growly and possessive, but sweet and loving. Story was strong. Chemistry was steaming, sexy time was intense and hot. Recommend to all wolf/erottic lovers won't be let down.

GOOD: The characteristics of a 3 star book include: interesting characters, a decent storyline, and unique story elements; there was something about the story that I didn’t completely connect with; the book is a solid read. I would recommend it to a friend.My Thoughts:Short and sweet story. I liked the characters but would have appreciated more depth about the shifter world in this story. Scarlet was sassy and protective while her mates Keller and Madden were 100% alpha male without being boorish or overbearing. The integration of Scarlet's sisters, Gabby and Whitney, added an interesting dynamic to the story as did the concept of the "marked" humans. My only complaint with the story was just too short. I would have given the book a solid 4❤'s without the up-rounding if the story was longer and more robust. Overall, I enjoyed the story and will continue the series since I'm interested in knowing what happens with Scarlet's sisters.

This read like a prologue to a full-length book. I was immediately hooked into the story – with two sexy alpha wolves, a strong heroine, and an intensive claiming scene – this series could easily become an addiction. I did enjoy the bonding between sisters I hope to see more of this written into future books. I was a little disappointed by the abrupt end...

OMG! This may be the hottest, wicked, erotic romance werewolfies book I have ever read! Ms. Kyle's alpha heroes, Keller and Madden, are everything lovers of M/F/M erotic romance and werewolf paranormal could possibly want. Decadent and Delicious! The story is intense, and just a warning: there is very graphic and frank language used that may not appeal to some readers. But if you like your erotic rom on the rough side and wolfies are your thing, then this is a story not to be missed!

Color me surprised! I really liked this one. I picked it up, not expecting too much, just a little entertainment in a short story. I loved this little novella- the main character, Scarlet was sassy and not shy about voicing her opinion. I like level-headed female characters! The plot is thin, but characters are entertaining enough that you just don't care . I liked it and will look for more, hopefully full-length works by this author.

I’ve got one word for this book….HOT!!!!
It’s a shorter story but man does it pack quite a punch! The author was able to convey a good story with plenty of detail, but not too much considering the story’s length. I look forward to reading the next story and if the next is as hot, I’ll be quite intrigued by what else Celia Kyle has out there.
It’s a shorter story but man does it pack quite a punch! The author was able to convey a good story with plenty of detail, but not too much considering the story’s length. I look forward to reading the next story and if the next is as hot, I’ll be quite intrigued by what else Celia Kyle has out there.

I really enjoyed this book. Love the different take on shifter and their destined mates. Scarlet didn't upset me like most female characters do. She's strong and possessive like her mates. Her mates were everything I expected from alphas...possessive, and dominant. Moving on to book 2.

Arc review for honest review. Scarlett and her sisters are summed to find their mates while entering Scarlett finds her two wolves mates Keller and Madden and holy hotness she get the best. What a great read.

A really good quick read.
I'm usually not a huge fan of quick reads, especially paranormal quick reads. This story was awesome. Alpha males by the pair, super hot.

I actually read this book a while ago. I am a big fan of Celia Kyle (to the point where she has her own shelf on my Kindle ✌(-‿-)✌). But here's the thing, I was looking for titles to fill out a reading challenge I am doing and one of the things I looked for was books I have read, but have neglected to review. It's like two birds one stone. Problem was, on goodreads, it listed a number of Celia Kyle's as unread, so I was pretty shocked and decided NOW, I HAD to read these books again & not just for the challenge.
As I mentioned in the general synopsis, this book features a ménage à trois, a romance between M/F/M. I know some readers are hesitant to read this type of book, so that is why I put that under the synopsis, even though I think from the cover alone, it is pretty obvious.
The story itself is very short, and is a very quick read. That being said, I would like to say there is more to the story than just sex, but it should also be noted for the story line to progress, you need to read the remainder of the books in the series, since to be it is one big whole. This will also grow to include Rebecca, Lorelei & Paisley.
