Re-read? Maybe

This book was super weird but HOT. Dylan is kind of a psycho and I did feel like Aria gave in to him to easily. What kind of creep billionaire uses his Mercedes for a rideshare to pick up woman. Pretty gross. Like I said, the only thing that saved this book for me was that it was super hot and I liked the D/s relationship even if I think Aria should have held out against his crazy for longer.

This for me was a very hot and steamy read. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Aria isn’t your typical skinny girl and is used to her dates blowing her off but she hasn’t given up searching for that one man who can give her what she wants. After yet another rejection she calls a taxi, she was in no way expecting Dylan the attractive older man, one that’s determined to have her. Could he be the one she’s been waiting for or is this a game to him?

Dylan is bored with his life and to spice things up the billionaire poses as a taxi driver, it’s useful when picks up attractive women. Usually he tells them who he really is and it’s not long before they are in his bed, but this night something is different. When meets Aria she is nothing like the usual women that grace his bed, he wants her and maybe for a lot longer than one night. Can he get the stubborn beauty to see him and how he feels or has he pushed things too far to quickly?

Super hot read. 4.2 🌟

I tried to like this book, I mean I really really tried to like it. And, I even thought I might like it. Aria even seemed to stand up for herself in the beginning. I was willing to look past the choppy writing and amateur style for "girl power". But, then something freaking switched. WHAT THE HELL did I just read. This story was HORRIBLE. And, man, I tried I tried so hard to give this author the benefit of the doubt. There are not many books written about bigger woman so I wanted to give her a shot.
I was so hopeful
description

WRONG CHOICE!

Dylan is a creep and I mean someone that would try and kill you creep, not just a jerk. He takes her v-card then tells her he can't be with her the way she wants but he will pay and give her everything she wants as long as she is at his beck and call... this is where I thought she was gonna tell him effe off... but no.... it just gets worse and worse from there.

Case in point:
"I wake up and see Dylan sitting in a metal chair next to my bed--- just watching me." ARE YOU KIDDING ME! He's pretty much locked her in a room right now.
description

THEN there is a whole 50 shades of gray seen where the kid finds his mom dead on the floor with a bottle of pills next to her when he is six years old... "Don't wake her." <--- really please be more original. It's like the author wanted to rewrite 50 Shades of Gray with a bigger girl but didn't get the premise of 50SoG to begin with.

description

I am so disgusted with this book, I think I might actually vomit. I HATE writing reviews like this. I am all for people putting themselves out there and writing. I admire those kinds of people... BUT THIS.... This was not okay in any way, shape or form.

Dark & Twisty

2.5 stars :: This definitely falls into the dark and twisty category. I was expecting it to some level but this surpassed my expectations. Not necessarily in a good way.

I didn't like Aria. She vacillated between having conviction and being a completely spineless pushover. Even if the story was super steamy, I wasn't impressed.

Her Curves His Obsession by Holly Pinke
Aria is a virgin and she wants to change that. She goes home with a first-time date but he says he only wants to be friends. She starts to feel dizzy and gets out of his place and calls for an uber. The uber driver is Dylan Wolf, he is a billionaire who likes to drive around. When Aria gets into his car he knows he has to have her. I enjoyed this story; I believe this is the first book I have read by Holly Pinke. There are some who won’t like this story but for me I found it entertain and anything that can take me on a trip into another area of life I enjoy. I received an ARC and have voluntarily left a review. This is my honest opinion.

This is one of those books you don’t want to keep reading because it seems so bizarre but you have to keep turning the page to see if the person will change. I’m impressed by Hazel’s take on Dylan. Dylan has been traumatized. Ever since he was a little boy. But he is a older gentleman now. He does weird stuff even though he’s a billionaire. Well, that doesn’t seem so weird. But apparently he randomly once a week decides to drive for rideshare and uses a line on the females and next thing you know he, I don’t know. This book is more bizarre as I keep reading. As I said do you think things will change and she will come to her senses because she’s only 18. Araya that is. She is a college student who seems to want to give up her V card but keep finding these goofball guys who don’t want her. So she’s waiting for her ride share Dylan is the driver to pick her up. She’s very resistant. This of course intrigues him to try to figure figure her out. Like all billionaires, at least in the storylines he tries to manipulate her with money. With her by her surroundings. Her job etc. When she finally relented’s or submits all hell breaks loose. You got to read the story. If you get triggers or if some of these steamy situations may be too much for you I don’t suggest you read this book. I don’t have an issue but I have clients who had so I don’t recommend that. It’s just your perception. It’s dark with shades of light. You get a glimpse of Dylan’s starved world. No cliffhanger.

I read this book as part of an arc program. This is the older man/ younger woman romance between Dylan and Aria. Dylan is a billionaire who never hears the word no and he doesn't like that Aria didn't agree to go out with him. Aria is a young college student and after another bad date, she calls for a drive and Dylan answers. Dylan drives for a ride share as a hobby and a way to meet women. When he tells Aria he is a billionaire and asks her why she is upset, she tries to tell him it is none of his business, but Dylan doesn't give up, eventually getting Aria to agree to go for coffee with him. Dylan is very interested in Aria, but she doesn't think it would be a good idea to date him. Dylan doesn't give up and finds Aria in the diner where she has lunch everyday. Dylan is determined to be with Aria and now he sees her as a challenge. Aria tries to convince Dylan she isn't interested in him, but he asks for one week to prove they would be good together. Aria agrees to one week, but things take a strange twist she didn't expect. This was a darker romance that is different from the usual style of Sara. I did enjoy this book, i like how Aria tried to stand up for herself and what she wanted, only Dylan was hard to resist. Dylan was too cocky and he needed a woman that would stand up to him. Good one

You start off thinking this is kind of weird a billionaire doing U-her once a week but then his answer seems logical in a strange way. Then Dylan’s obsession starts for Aria. On the lines of stocking. She agrees to a first date because she has had a string of horrible first day. And well here is this older well off man who keeps saying I’m beautiful why not?

Dinner goes nice but when she goes to his place and he comes on to her she dreamed of down and dirty but Dylan took it to a mean and hurtful experience which no woman should have to take especially for their first time. He new her need to feel wanted so he played on that need to get her to his bed. But when he said he wanted to her basically like a well kept whore with no wants at his beck and call she figures out his end game.

She tells him he’s no better than all the other guys she dated and leaves he believes she’ll call or come back but when she doesn’t he starts to lose it. He can’t even function at work. He repeatedly call but she blocked him. So, his obsession grows more desperate and he losses it. And this story takes a stick turn.

Like a train wreck I finished but just never connected with either character. Received during July-Aug. book giveaway.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Aria Valance and Dylan Wolf. Aria can't seem to find a guy who one wants her v card and two interests her enough to give it to them. That is why after another disastrous date she calls and uber. When the driver says sweet things to her she doesn't believe him and figures he just wants something. The problem she has is she doesn't know what it is. Dylan has been looking for the one for a while now that is why he is an uber driver. He in no way needs the money he is a billionaire but he figures this is the easiest way to meet the one. One look at Aria and he knows she is his one. If only he could get her to see that. Will these two find a HEA or will Dylan's way of showing her she is the one be more than Aria can handle?

This is a darker romance than I have read from this author in the past. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you on the edge of you seat from the first word to the very end. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Okay, this is a weird one to write a review for, because it has all the elements of a good story without actually BEING a good story. The problem derives from style; it's stilted. The cadence of the way the words set together made me feel as if I was reading Frankenstein's foot steps, duh duh duh.

Aria and Dylan were well defined characters, with clear motivations, feelings, attitudes and personality. Dylan, however, is not just a rich ass, as so many other alpha jerks are. He is also a spoiled brat, for all he had a horrible childhood. The story really could have been categorized as a "dark" romance for all the weird, kinky shit he did to her.

I made it to the end of the book, though. And I'm curious about part 2, so that says something good about the storyline. I would have ranked it 3.5 if I could have.

Obsession or love?
Her Curves: His Obsession by Sarah Hazel is a very quick read, but held my attention throughout. Aria and Dylan are interesting characters who meet by chance and quickly morphs into Dylan’s obsession with Aria.
Dylan is more than just a billionaire who always gets his way. Aria throws off his game in many ways, intentionally but mostly unintentionally. She holds her own against Dylan’s strong personality and dark, demanding ways, but gets tricked! Dylan is truly a predator, with pleasurable intentions, but not entirely honest about them.
Overall, this novella of Aria and Dylan is truly fast-paced yet doesn’t feel rushed and in the end, love prevails providing the reader with a HEA.

I am trying to find the words to write about this book. Starting off the FMC pissed me off within the first 3 pages of the book. Then comes the MMC, and he is just creepy from the get go. Over all, i found that this was a case of "oh she said no , no one ever said no before so I must have her" Now the kidnapping, she took that one a little to well, I mean way to well. She never once tried to do anything to help herself. I don't care if it wouldn't have help. Girl try. Then all of a sudden ...promise me you won't leave and you are free....that the most backwards line ever.

Over all I hated it and I don't think I had one think I could say I like about it. Other than it was over within a hour of reading.

This book is AMAZING!! A hot, dark and steamy story that draws you in and tangles you in it's web. Aria is a curvy girl who hasn't had much luck dating. Then she meets billionaire Dylan Wolf. He wants her the minute he lays eyes on her and he'll do whatever it takes to get her. He's hot, sexy and a whole lot of dominant and though his approach is a bit much for her at first, eventually Aria gives in to the truth of the matter - that she was his the moment he saw her and she likes it. She really, really likes it!

Aria is waiting for an Uber to show up. She'd just left a date that turned into a disaster. Mr. Uber driver asks if she's alright and she's not talking. He tells her that he's a great listener and can she have coffee with him. Aria is a curvy women who's had enough of silly boys and men hurting her. Uber happens to introduce himself as Dylan Wolf the billionaire of Real Estate. Ha, and he's driving for Uber granted with a Mercedes but still. Good story. Loved the characters. Dylan and Aria have to work through their relationship but it was fun going through it with them. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a steamy older man younger woman dark romance which i found a bit over the top.... which is good as i love when a dominant alpha knows what he wants and will even go to extremes to get it.
When Aria gets into the uber after another unsuccessful date her life changes forever.
The driver is billionaire Dylan Wolf who moonlights as a driver.... the moment he sees Aria he decides that he has to have the curvy student....but she isnt interested so Dylan will have to do what ever he has to to have her..... even if it means he has to lock her up in a room......

I love Sara Hazel books, however, this one left me feeling a little off. The way Dylan and Aria met was original and I really enjoyed the first couple of chapters. A twist of words makes Aria his prisoner for the week in his penthouse. Some of these scenes bordered on being non-consensual, which I didn't enjoy. How desperate is Dylan to get a girlfriend that he keeps her prisoner in a locked room even when she's scared and crying to be released? She eventually gets into the Dom/sub relationship and they live HEA, however, with all that has happened already, it's hard to wrap my head around it.

Can you say crazy…because that is what Dylan is. Crazy, obsessed with Aria.
Aria is a college student who
Works at an art store. She had had a string of horrible dates and has just left one when her Uber driver shows up.
Dylan is a billionaire who drives an Urber to meet people. He is use to having his way with women and will use them until he tires of them.
Aria is different, she does not fall victim to his charms and doesn’t care that he is a billionaire.
This makes her all the more enticing prey.
Dylan is an alpha male predator. He thinks he can control every situation. His character had to grown on me. I was thinking girl you better run…and fast.
Quick read.

I came away with mixed feelings about this book. Some of it was hot, but some scenes also had me feeling a little uncomfortable and Dylan seemed more psycho than alpha on occasion. I felt like the author used 50 Shades and tried to add her own twist to it, but didn't quite get it right. Maybe part of the problem is that everything happens too quickly and the story needs to be much longer to allow the things to happen as the story progresses and we get to know the characters better. I think this is one that you need to read and decide for yourself

This is a story about Dylan who is a billionaire and once a week drives his car and to meet interesting people. Aria steps into his car for a ride home. He becomes smitten with her and pursues her relentlessly. Dylan wants Aria to be his submissive. He locks her in a room for a week and she must submit to his demands. This was too dark and unpleasant for my liking, but if you l like this you should enjoy the story.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and raw passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after. It was Erotic and a turn on, of kink. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

Borderline noncon. Aria meets Dylan when she calls a ride service & he is the driver. He takes her to a diner to talk, then his penthouse where he takes her virginity on his balcony without being caring or gentle. She tells him to stay away after that night when he hurt her by wanting to just be friends w/benefits. He gets her to agree to give him a week to change her mind. He then basically kidnaps Aria by locking her in a room and not allowing her to leave. No safe word given. Epilogue tries to clean up. I like other stories by this author better.

I know a few people really hated this book but I liked it a lot. The story of a seriously damaged man who finds a woman he feels he can not live without. Although it started a little slow I really fell into the story as he makes serious mistakes one after another. Maybe it is not the best book by this author but I am going to find out by reading more. I am retired and read at least 5 books a week and this one was not terrible by far. To each his own.

This book was weird to say the least. I mean it seemed to try different angles and pouring it within one melting pot, but didnt suceed. It was starting off as your normal insta lust novel but had a sudden turn to the bdsm; and nothing could prepare me for that. Nothing. The shift was rough. The plot was rushed too. And the characters was quite lacking in background story. The romancing was almost absent.

It wasn’t a bad book per say, it just left me a bit squeamish at times and blood doesn’t even do that to me in books.
I know that can be the cause of the somewhat kidnapping and all it entails along with the stalking of the main character.
Although the curvy representation was outstanding this has got to be my rating.
This book is less than a hundred pages so give it a read and see if it works for you.

I Do Not like the path this story took. I didn't realize this would go into a captive submissive type read. She is not a shrinking violet and yet she totally is. Her personality is literally bipolar. She says one thing then does the opposite and she makes very dangerous life decisions. It's hard for me to read this type of story so once I got to the part of Aria's one week trial I skimmed the rest of the book and I'm leaving this review as a courtesy but not as a positive.

The author has given us a bit of a darker story with this one. Dylan is a billionaire that has many issues and needs to be in control at all times. Aria is a curvy college student that has been disappointed by men who whole life. Now she has a chance with a man who wants her, but is not sure she is willing to give up her control.

Read more than a few erotica but it’s the character of Dylan I find deeply disturbing. He was more psychotic than just wanting his way no matter what. On the other hand, Aria was a mixed up young lady. Too much drama and angst for me. Guess he picked the right girl for him in the end. I’d label this story as a happy for now.

This story about a curvy young woman and an alpha older man was unexpected. With two strong characters, there were twists and turns that I never saw coming. Ms. Hazel is one of my go to authors, but I could not have been more surprised by this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to see more like it from her.
