Kidnapped by a giant, and unable to use her magic, Kara finds herself at his mercy. She is dragged to the land of the giants and trapped within a mountain. Only the unconscious palace guards know what happened to her. While trapped, she receives a visit from Loki, who answers some of her questions, yet certain suspicions remain unquenched.
Two soul-reaping armies make a trade, putting Kara in a predicament she wouldn’t have thought possible.
Information Kara discovers about Loki and the zmey places Kara in an awkward position with her dragon friend Elan and the rest of the dragons. She faces the torturous decision of keeping a secret from them or telling them the truth and planting a seed of distrust that could trigger retaliation.

The plot of this one is slower-paced than the previous books, but really that's welcome, especially since it gives us a chance to get the answers to some questions raised throughout the series so far. Of course, there's still plenty going on, along with some new information to ponder, making this a gripping read I devoured in one sitting, and an excellent addition to the series. I can't wait to read the next book!
*NOTE: I was given a free advanced copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. This fact has in no way influenced either my opinion of the book, or the contents of this review.
fascinating? pretty much. story slows down from what I came to expect, while expanding to be more interesting. finally some comparative space to breathe, with less imminent fear of imminent death. some questions answered, some more raised(of course?). the unbowed n uncowed attitude is maintained n while unsurprising remains endearing/nevermind that i'm a sucker fer this ploy/odds are that so are you, so enjoy
OMG! Too Short! Too Short! “Abducted” finally gives us the action we have been waiting for. Secrets are revealed, Loki needs to be watched and new characters are introduced. This tale is growing and I like how it is expanding and becoming more intense. The scenes are vivid and exciting and Kara is maturing and becoming my hero and I love Elan, her gold dragon. I LOVE THIS SERIES! Next book Please!! I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily
Quite the interesting book! Kara is still being treated like “less than dirt” but it’s about 50/50 due to people just trying to keep themselves out of harms way for disagreeing with a God. The location of the missing eggs is shared, yet the “why” is still not truly known. More Gods meddle, and they all seem to have ulterior motives. I usually get discouraged when a series keeps dragging me along but honestly, this has been entertaining. It’s easy on my head which is refreshing.
This is really ramping up!!! I really like the way the story is going! Between all of the things Loki is up to and all of the new characters, this is becoming quite the story. Recommend!!
