HELLA GOOD Drug addiction, secret liaisons, twins swapping places, and a clandestine marijuana empire are among the many transgressions the children of the Devil's Share have committed over the years. But not Emmie James. A ballerina since the age of seven, she's been accepted into a prestigious ballet company, is getting her college degree on-line, and is the apple of her parents' eye. No one would suspect that at eighteen years old, Emmie would become the most scandalous of the Devil's Spawn. Insult to injury? Her fall from grace was made possible by super hot Mr. One-Night-Stand, Kasen Cadence, and if she has to go to hell to get to heaven, there's no one Emmie wants by her side but Kase.

I live in Austin, Texas with my husband, daughter, 3 rescue dogs, 1 cat, and one bunny (that doesn't seem to like us). I love reading romance novels as much as I love writing them. I feel like inspiration can come from anywhere; a song lyric, a quote, a weekend with friends. The tiniest things can spark amazing stories.

Wow

So sweet, and of course funny stuff from the devils spawn. Loved emmie & Kasen. I loved how he stood up for her once he quit being a douche about the baby not being his lol. I’m so glad he realized he was in love with her and marrying her. And no more leaving ems behind to deal with everything. Such a great read, I could not put it down. Can not wait for crues book, it’s gonna be a tear jerker and I can already see the parentals going ballistic again.great books!

Inevitably is book eight in the riff raff records series. Like the previous books in this series, I loved this one. I devoured this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. I cannot say too much about this story without giving away too many spoilers.
Emmie smith is the youngest of the devils spawn and the good girl. Unlike the rest of the devil’s spawn, Emmie has never misbehaved. That soon changes when she meets Kasen Cadence, Katie’s brother. Kasen is attracted to Emmie and wants her from the moment they meet. Kase has no plans to ever settle down, he loves his life being carefree and traveling the world. After one night together, their lives change forever. Emmie goes from being the good girl to being the biggest mess up.
I had mixed emotions about Kasen. I liked him, then I disliked him and then I started to like him again. His reaction was understandable but I was still annoyed with how he spoke to Emmie when she told him her news. I liked that Emmie was stubborn. She knew what she wanted and she wasn’t willing to let someone in that would run again.
The chemistry between Kasen and Emmie is clear to see and I liked seeing them build up a friendship before they eventually gave into their love for one another.
I liked how the devil’s spawn kids had Emmie’s back. I loved that they were there for her. When her secret was revealed, they stood by her side and spoke up for her. I understood why Emmie’s parents were upset but they p*ssed me off. I hated the way they treated Emmie. That being said, they did come around after a good while but they still were in my bad books.
I will however say; I loved how Kasen’s parents treated Emmie. I liked that she bonded more with them than she had previously.
I loved the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Love love this series. The characters come right out of the books. From start to finish you feel like they are your family. This book of the series talks about young pregnancy, drugs and the challenges that may happen. How parents may react or the world around you. I love Emmie and Kase. Watching them struggle and learn together was awesome.

I have been reading the Riff Raff Records a long time. Emmie James story was the one I’ve been waiting for and it’s finally here. Emmie has always been the quiet Devil Spawn, with all the secrets her sister and cousins had she is really the tamed one. Until the weekend she meets Kasen Cadance. Kasen is Mason son all the way back to the first book in their series Royalty. Then we finally get to meet him when his sister makes a trip to the Devil Compound in the book Loyalty. What I loved dearly about this book is with these two characters we didn’t know much about either one of them. Emmie was in the background living her life as a dancer and Kasen was a young boy, when he first arrived on the scene. I think L.P. Maxa did a wonderful job coming full circle with the beginning of their stories. They both have truly become near and dear to me especially Emmie being the baby of the family, but yet being the maturest of them all, but when she finally takes life by the horns, she messes up big, but not just for her but the whole compound. You will have the same banter with the spawn and get to see bits and pieces of the “rents”. As always you’ll get you have all that awesome dialogue that Maxa is known for. If you haven’t read this series yet, you really need to. These characters are so easy to relate to and really will have you laughing with tears running down your face.

My Word Is Bond.

Well done L.P. Maxa, well freaking done.

Kasen, was one of the realest heroes in this series. Him and Annie story touched me in a place like his mom and dad story. There is something to be said about a man that admit his faults and never steer from his word. A protector at the age of 22.

Emmie, fierce was a calming ability to stand up for herself when pushed but cry in private. She was strong but needed strength. Very honest even when she didn't want to burden or be coddled. Her story had me in tears because I related on a level of experience. Dang!!!!

Together they were a united front that took time to become more. Support, appreciation, and learning together is what made it a non-stop read. One of my favorites for 2019.

Loved it!

I love all of the Riff Raff Records books. They are sexy, edgy, but packed with real feelings. Being inside each of their heads as they go through the pregnancy, was really thought provoking. Emmie is so brave and sweet and Kasen was justly confused. This was a sweet love story and L. P. Maxa obviously gave a lot of thought about how the characters would feel in this situation. Well done!

(RiffRaff Records) 8. Inevitably

Two cautious young people think they have their worlds all figured out until they find out they’re having a baby. I love how they stuck together.

Finally what I was just looking for from this series. Kasen was a one night stand kind of guy. He was up front with what to expect and if you weren't on board he was out of there. When he saw Emmie at his sisters wedding he knew instantly he wanted a night with her.
Emmie is the baby of the Spawn's. She is a ballerina and has dedicated herself to it since she was 3 years old. When Kasen offers her just one night she accepts. She just wants one night to experience something she has never been able to.
When their night is over they both move on. Until Emmie no longer had the chance to move on with her career. She is undecided on weather or not to share her news with Kasen, until the other Spawns hold an intervention to find out what is going on and Brody gives her something to think about.
Kasen is an asshole when Emmie talks to him about what is going on but luckily he redeems himself. I absolutely LOVED how Kasen stood up for Emmie and really let her father have it. It should have been done sooner and by the children of the Spawns not a friend of the family. The way Emmie's parents treated her was appaling. I wanted her to hold out on forgiving them because they didn't deserve her forgiveness.

This was such a quick read!! I was a little nervous when I saw the amount of chapter because I thought I wouldn’t have the time I would need to devote to it, but OMG, I could not put it down once I started! The chapters go really fast because your engulfed in the story. Kasen is the biggest playboy because he is living life like his Uncle Pax. He believed there was true love, but didn’t want it for himself. I actually had a hard time liking him in the beginning because of his attitude. My friends loved him and I’m wasn’t so sure. Emmie is the beautiful, smart, good, baby girl of the Devil’s Spawn. These two couldn’t be more opposite if they tried. I guess that’s why they were meant to be. Kasen redeems himself by protecting Emmie in several ways from the parents, spawn, and even herself. Once he started that journey I couldn’t help but like him for Emmie. There were so many emotions in this story and it felt like an emotional roller coaster I would definitely ride again!

I love this series and this was a solid addition to it. I loved reading Emmie and Kasen’s story, even if I feel like the blurb was a little misleading. I didn’t find this anymore scandalous that the other Devil’s Spawn books. But I did like how it played out. For the most part.
The major thing I disagree with, and has been a theme with the Spawn books, is the complete 180 the Devil’s Share parents have done. I never would’ve thought they would act the way they’ve acted in this series. I kind of hate that that’s how they’re portrayed. I feel in love with them, and have now fallen in love with their kids, but it seems you’re not able to love both at the same time. It’s a pity and does definitely detract from the book.
Still, if you like this series, it is a solid addition.

Heartwarming love story!!!

Out of all of the RiffRaff books Inevitably is by far my favorite. Kase and Emmie are the last two people you would like are a match. Kase is a player, who travels the world as a model and social media content maker. Ems is the 18 year old baby of the Devil's spawn and a virgin. Gah!!! I love their love story!!!! It has all the feels. I was laughing and I cried. There is definitely more to Kase than what he seemed to be. I absolutely loved this book!!!!

❤️ Kase

How could you not love Kase, watching him fall in love with his girls was so sweet! Emmie was sweet but I liked that she was not a pushover she could give as good as she got. She and Kase were adorable together. I would have loved for the epilogue to tell me whether or not they got married yet, but I am assuming we will find that out in the next book which fingers crossed is Crue and Avory. I have been waiting forever for their story. I was surprised but it turned out that Kase and Emmie are one of my favorite couples from the Spawn books.

Emmie and Kasen. I thought Kasen was a dog at first. He was predatory with Emmie at first meet.
It's been a year or so since I read any L.P. Max's "Devil's Share" so it's with vague recall on any of these characters and of course, the kids have all grown up....Emmie is the youngest. Wished it had more "catch me up" quality but it was almost standalone.

Kasen and Emmie's story is simple but L.P. makes it very sweet.
