Let's embrace the point of no return.

Ciara Kimball's privileged life seems to be crashing around her. Everything's out of control and it's about to get worse.

Jack Turner is in complete isolation in the backwoods of Maryland. The silence and the trees don't bother him - people do. Fortunately, he's an expert at taking them out.

The adventure begins on a hot day in August, when a D.C. socialite crosses paths with a 6'5 drifter.

Great story

This author has potential. An excellent debut novel. Loved the characters bother different as chalk from cheese but they gel.... I believe in their relationship.. Not all the dogs are linked so this could lead to a second story which could develop their relationship further. At the moment it is happy for now.. So more could be created to cement the relationship in a second book. My one major gripe is that there are a lot of words omitted and errors with pronouns. e.g. The writer uses 'he' when it should be 'she'. It does not detract from the story but it does slow it down. Some clarification: Spoiler alert: where did Ciara get the tazer when she is in the toilet? Surely her bag would have been searched. In fact there is no mention that she took her bag to the toilet. Anyway as I said a great read from a promising writer. Just needs to get a better editor!! Well done!!

'A Dangerous Man' was a fun, action-packed read! The H/h were a 100% 'opposites attract' couple, which enhanced the twists and turns of the story. The heroine Ciara worked my nerves on occasion, as she was a privileged brat. (She did improved as the story progressed). I liked the grumpy hero Jack more. :)
So... why only 3 stars? There were too many editing issues (typos, missing words, incorrect word usage, etc.) and wonky formatting, which made the breaks within chapters hard to figure out and read.
Still, I enjoyed reading this book.

Good

Ciara was a rich entitled woman that met up with a mercenary in the middle of the woods. With nothing much in common except the will to survive they became a couple.

A well written romance A black model and socialite meets a redneck white man when she gets into car trouble. Over a lot of dangerous situations they bond.
