Fourth book in the Dividing Line series.

Life is good in Devon for Rachel and Ryan Law until a tragic loss brings them back to Manchester. Their return sends the volatile Alex Maguire over the edge and his behaviour becomes increasingly unhinged as he turns on those closest to him.

In desperation, Mikey and Jez commit an act that causes the situation to explode and Alex sets his sights set on the person he considers responsible for every ill that has ever befallen him. Rachel Law.

When he realises his family are in danger, Ryan throws off his law-abiding persona and becomes the man he used to be in order to aggressively defend them. When Rachel disappears battle lines are drawn, allies becoming enemies as members of the Maguire and Law families pick sides to help find Rachel and topple a king.

Contains scenes of sex and violence.

Author of over seventy books so far. Living on the beautiful west coast of Scotland with my husband, twin daughters and a cat called Mavis, although I am originally from Lancashire in the north of England.

My tastes in all things are eclectic, which extends to my writing. Although I primarily write crime books - especially gangland thrillers - I also write gothic historical romance and fantasy. I publish on Amazon Kindle and some of my novels are available in paperback too. I also have a traditional publishing contract with Boldwood Books.

When I'm not writing - which isn't very often - I enjoy reading Daphne Du Maurier, Edgar Allan Poe, Shirley Jackson, MR James and the Brontes, among many others. I also enjoy swimming, walking and spending time with my family.

Another brilliant book.

There was no other rating higher than 5* so that's why I gave it that, but to date all Heather Atkinson's books have been a lot more than that. Once you've starting reading you just don't want to stop. I love the Law family and poor beth, Alex, i could personally kill myself for what he did to poor Rachel. Not only was it down to him that she lost her son before actually giving birth to him but then he decided to literally butcher her too. I'm soo glad she recovers tho.
Can't wait to start book #5 now, which no doubt will be another unputdownable book too.

Fabulous

She's done it again, #4 is as good if not better than the previous books in the series. Rachael and Ryan can't get peace to simply live a normal life without Alex Maguire interfering and spreading his poison. Edge of seat time, I even shouted in parts. Fabulous book can't wait to start the next one

Rachel lay curled up
In the dark, trying not to make a sound.
So now I’m thinking, what’s going on?

Because I’m reading these books straight after each other, I like to think I know. But the Author is the only one who knows.

This series has kept me reading, all night .
You never know what’s going to happen next!

Fractured (Dividing Line #4)
Heather Atkinson

Contains strong language, sex and violence.

Well after just finishing book 4,3,2 and one, back to back- fantastic story line I just couldnt put it down, i had to keep reading a few more pages at every opportunity.
I love it when I find an author who's books I enjoy but have not read them all yet, as it means i get a good few weeks out of reading them all.
The characters were interesting and at different points I found myself loving and hating the main characters, which is always a good sign and the story was action packed. Without giving away the plot, the twists and there is plenty of them lull you into thinking that the ending will be different to how it was. A few times I kept thinking I know where this is going. But each time I was Wrong.
This book continues the story of the Laws and Maguires, and I can honestly say each book has got better. I now have book 5 to finish.
An absolute must if you like Martina Cole style books.
