Fractured (Dividing Line #4)
Heather Atkinson
Contains strong language, sex and violence.
Well after just finishing book 4,3,2 and one, back to back- fantastic story line I just couldnt put it down, i had to keep reading a few more pages at every opportunity.
I love it when I find an author who's books I enjoy but have not read them all yet, as it means i get a good few weeks out of reading them all.
The characters were interesting and at different points I found myself loving and hating the main characters, which is always a good sign and the story was action packed. Without giving away the plot, the twists and there is plenty of them lull you into thinking that the ending will be different to how it was. A few times I kept thinking I know where this is going. But each time I was Wrong.
This book continues the story of the Laws and Maguires, and I can honestly say each book has got better. I now have book 5 to finish.
An absolute must if you like Martina Cole style books.
Book description..
Life is good in Devon for Rachel and Ryan Law until a tragic loss brings them back to Manchester. Their return sends the volatile Alex Maguire over the edge and his behaviour becomes increasingly unhinged as he turns on those closest to him.
In desperation, Mikey and Jez commit an act that causes the situation to explode and Alex sets his sights set on the person he considers responsible for every ill that has ever befallen him. Rachel Law.
When he realises his family are in danger, Ryan throws off his law-abiding persona and becomes the man he used to be in order to aggressively defend them. When Rachel disappears battle lines are drawn, allies becoming enemies as members of the Maguire and Law families pick sides to help find Rachel and topple a king.
