****5/5**** LOVE, LIVE, LAUGH, ADORE THIS SERIES I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCCHHHHHHHHHH I TOTALLY RECOMMEND READING IT WANT THRILLER? MYSTERY? CLUES? MISSING TWIN? THIS SERIES HAS IT ALL YOU SHOUD READ IT PERIODDD
This is an AMAZING series, I could never put the books down! In my opinion, the writing style is effective. If you love a good mystery, this is for you!
Hmm... given the popularity of the book, it wouldn't be surprising to say I was quite impressed by the plot. The author did an excellent job in linking up the events of each book to the next, and if I didn't remember wrongly, she made the ending of each book a cliffhanger haha! That was what really intrigued me into reading one book after another and eventually finishing the entire series. The Boarding School life of a pair of twin girls and the mystery of each book just drew me to the series.
Well, I especially picked out this series because it wasn't the very typical kind of 'Boarding School life' kind of book. It sparked a different feeling when reading and I felt a deep connection to the spirituality of the twins. I could almost feel them and what boarding school put them through. A thrilling mystery book but some twists here and there in the book was just the icing on the cake.
A book perfect for young adult/beginner readers looking into reading something that gets you on your nerves. Highly recommend this series!
This was one of the first YA series I read..If you're looking for a thriller which keeps you at the edge of your seat while biting your nails, this is for you. In the beginning, I would say like the first 4 books, It was impossible to stop reading. I was very invested and the storyline was really well thought of. Towards the end, like the 5th book, it felt like such drag. All I wanted to do was to stop reading the series. Mainly because I got bored eventually and there really was no point to the storyline or a great plot as such to the last book. Basically, I felt like it was a drag.
I highly recommend for people who don't mind reading really long series, because I find it difficult and that's part of the reason why I got annoyed towards the end. The first few books were amazing though.
I’ve read these twice through. Book 1 is by far the best but they are all easy reads with fantastic plot twists. The only complaint I have is that once you know the storyline, the effect of the plot twists are lost when you reread the novel. But I intend to read the series many more times in the future.
As a child,I completely loathed reading and I believed it would stay that way for a while but this book kickstarted my love for books 6 years ago especially mysteries and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves a good mystery.
I started reading these books and they really encourage to not to give up. They also encourage you to stick to your friends. It's amazing 👏. You just can't stop reading it once you started!
'I absolutely loved this book and I'd give it 6 out of 5 stars, it's one of the best storylines I've ever come across'
I liked most of the characters and enjoyed the story as a haul and my most favorite is probably book 5 “the curse in the candle lights”. It felt really like a mystery.
