Soraya's done it again! I've loved all the books in her Chicago Syndicate series about the sexy alpha men in the present day Chicago Mafia, but she's done something a little different this time and written about anti-hero William Kade from 1900's Chicago, who not so coincidentally, owns the club that would one day become Club 7, which plays a big part in her Chicago Syndicate series. And although Sins could be called a 'historical romance,' she manages to put a modern spin on it by focusing more on the characters and letting 1900's Chicago simply act as the perfect backdrop.
Playboy William Kade grew up as an orphan until he was rescued by Charles Lindon, his mentor, father figure, and friend. Charles owns a high-rise in the Chicago Loop where Williams lives, owns a gambling club with Charles, and fights in the building's underground fight club. While Charles and William are attending society parties to drum up membership for their exclusive hardcore sex club, which will also be opened on an underground floor of Charles's high-rise, William meets Ivy, an upper class society girl, and after that, neither of their lives will ever be the same. I could go on from there, but I don't want to give the story away. I'll just say that from the moment they meet, William and Ivy butt heads yet also have an attraction that neither can deny.
This book has it all: romance, heartache, suspense, violence (William is a fighter AND an alpha, after all), and plenty of sensual, hot and dirty lovin'! William is the type of man I love to read about--he's a sexy dominant who lives hard and loves even harder, but he's also fiercely protective and caring. Ivy is a strong, independent woman who gives as good as she gets yet also has potentially life-altering secrets. And William and Ivy together may be rocky at times, but their chemistry is off the charts.
Sins is intelligently written and takes the reader on a wild and sexy journey with William and Ivy while delivering on every level. And in pure Soraya Naomi fashion, there are twists and turns that hit you upside the head and twist your guts--that's when the story really goes into overdrive. Soraya definitely has another winner here!

I can honestly say this is one had me questioning if I was actually reading fiction. Each page was so expressive and illustrative. Every character had me mesmerized. I felt like I was in the 1900's.
The twists and depth this one took is seriously one to jump into and let yourself freefall into their world.
Soraya has definitely left me highly satisfied and waiting patiently to see what more twists she can write. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

A kidnapping romance! My favorite

I knew this book sounded so familiar to me when the blurb came out - Soraya wrote this book about 5 years under a different title and it was exclusively sold on Radish. If there were any edits done to the story, I could not easily tell.
I am not a historical romance fan and probably won't become one. Not because of this book, just because it's not my thing. However, I did enjoy this story because I love Soraya's writing and she made I a bit more modern. She has a way with her words that bring her stories to life and play out so vividly in your mind.
Sins about a William Kade and how he rose up from being an orphan, fighting in underground fights to owning a gambling club with Charles Lindon, who rescued him when he was younger and became his mentor. While promoting their club, William meets Ivy, an upper class society woman. However, she is unlike any woman he has encountered before. She is feisty and gives just as much as she takes. When their lives become intertwined, they both have no idea what they are in for.
As I said, I read this book before and still thoroughly the second go around, 4 years later. Soraya truly knows how to write multi-dimensional characters and build a world that is so intriguing, it just adds another layer to her stories. Whether you like historical romance or not, you will thoroughly enjoy this story.

This is a departure from what I’m use to by Soraya Naomi but I loved it no less. William and Ivy’s story took me a rollercoaster of ups and downs and twists lurking around every corner and I enjoyed every minute of it. The story it self kept me engulfed the entire time and I really really enjoyed it.

Messed with ALL My Emotions!
Soraya went back in time where it all started for the Chicago Syndicate. Back to the original club on The Loop of Chicago. Back to the times of speakeasies and all the secrets and taboos hidden behind those closed doors. While I'm not a big historical romance reader, it was hard for me not to become entranced by William and Ivy's story. A story too intriguing and alluring with suspense and all its twists and turns, you can't help but enjoy the ride.
Sins is a different read than other of Soraya's books but it's still uniquely her. While the subject is a little darker and definitely made these characters suffer more, she does stay true with the brooding, possessive and protective heroes who dont know how to handle themselves when they've met their match. And that's exactly what Ivy is for William. She takes no bs from no one least of all William. You can't help but have a love/ hate relationship with these characters. They're both flawed in so many ways and make so many mistakes along the way, but together, they couldn't be more perfect.
My emotions were all over the place with this story. One minute I'm at the edge if my seat and the next I want to throttle my kindle across the room. Amazingly written in 3rd person pov and such an epic HEA, Sins is not one you want to miss out on.

Oh wow!!! I loved this book so much. I'm not a fan of historical books but I received an ARC in return for an honest review. I'm so glad I read it. Soraya never disappoints. She has an amazing talent. Her books and characters draw you in from the start.
It's a pretty dark story at times with a lot of amazing sex scenes that puts 50 shades, and others, to shame. So if that's what you like to read, then look no further. Highly recommend this book. Cried like a baby too

I loved Ivy and William story
William and his buddy have a legal gambling and Fight Club and needed cash quick they decided to open a sex club!
Wow this is dark exotic tasty treat the way it unfolds like a wet dream come to life torchering every nerve of my being making me warm moist and intoxicated from one eye popping ravenous page to the next. This story was definitely smokin hot with an intriguing storyline that kept me thirsty excited and on edge from the very beginning to the jaw dropping end

What an amazing book! Love it. This was my first historical romance and I loved it. I loved William and Ivy, she is the perfect match for him. William came from nothing and Charles saw potential in him and took him under his wing. He’s cocky, and very sure of himself in every aspect of his life and when he meets Ivy he has no idea just how much his life is about to change. Lies, deception, and betrayal are swirling everywhere, their story is emotional, suspense filled dark romance that you will be sucked into from the start. The only question is who do you trust? I received a copy of this book.

I'm not one for third pov. But this did surprise me. And it was an enjoyable read.
William was an orphan. And with the help of two other older boys they tried their very best to protect the smaller children from the cruelty of the carers. Then one night they did what was necessary resulting in them leaving, going their separate ways.
With the help from Charles, William is educated, has money, roof over his head and is a partner with Charles in their successful clubs (may they be legal or not). And with William being Charles' prized fighter, he's also a ladies man. Not one to have the attention of one woman at any one time.
Until he encounters Ivy.
Ivy, orphan, with her brother and their friend. They steal, con, pick pocket to survive, as they're poor. Until William becomes their new mark. As they've met before years before.

For me this book is one of the best stories I have read.There are moments in the book that I have not been able to hold back the tears.It has move me and made fall in love with the characters.
William is a man who has struggled to get out of poverty,and thanks to his friend and mentor Charles he is now a renowned fighter and entrepreneur.
Ivy is a con woman who works with her brother and his friend Ben to steal from the rich so she can pay the bills.
One night William and Ivy meet at a party and William tries to approach her using his charm,but it doesn’t work with Ivy and she decides to involve William in stealing a wallet to get rid of him. That is when William discovers that she is the daughter of a earl,who also owes him money,so he decides to kidnap her so that her father pays them the debt. And that’s where the journey really begins for these 2 characters,one full of lies,sadness,passion,hope and love.

I had such a wide variety of feels, PHEW! Folks, this romance is not for the fainthearted, but oh my, the road to sanity ( I think ) is WORTH every frustrating sniffle, heatwave, smile, and grimace.
Soraya Naomi has rocked my world- once again, with her stellar skills!
If you like the dark bloodlust, sinfully sexy romances, this is a MUST READ for you!

Even though I have Chicago syndicate series on my TBR list since forever, this was actually my first time reading a book by this author.
I also rarely read historical romances but this sounded too intriguing to pass and needles to say it was definitely worth it.
The author did a great job with writing and setting up the mood of 1900s. I also liked how well developed main characters were. Both William and Ivy were strong and stubborn but have undeniable chemistry that is off the charts since the moment they’ve met.
I really enjoyed their story and have to again compliment the author on great writing with lots of intrigue and unexpected twists. I gladly recommend this book and it seems like it’s time for me to finally start reading previous books from this author. Soraya Naomi got herself a new fan and I can’t wait to read more!

William and Ivy's story is filled with steam, danger, misgivings, and ultimately they come together in a way that you know is fitting for them. This was a delicious story with lots of twists and turns and a plot line that will grab you from the first page and keep you enthralled to the very end. Excellent story!

I normally don't like historical romances at all, but this one I loved! This book drew me in right from the first chapter. Loved how it flows into the whole Chicago syndicate series and club 7. This book has everything a reader wants in a book, gambling, sex, fighting and soooo much more. I totally fell in love with bad boy William Kade and sassy Ivy.

I received this book exchange for a honest review. I normally don’t like historical romance books but this book had me feel I like I was in the 1900’s and I was loving every moment of it. This book is steamy dark and suspenseful... I loved Williams and Ivy’s story.

William Kade grew up in an orphanage until at 15 after killing his two abusive housekeepers and setting a fire he was taken in by Charles Lindon a British immigrant who had made it here in Chicago and a man who recognized in William someone like his earlier self who had scratched and fought his way out of slums to wealth. William became a club fighter and a good one who only lost when Charles and he needed to cover a bet. Now they were opening a sex club in addition to their fight and gaming clubs all strictly illegal and they needed money to pay off debts and the authorities. William meets a beautiful enticing curvy woman with reddish curls whom he had noticed lifting a wallet from a gentleman she was kissing in a hallway of a mansion. He later learns she is a Lady being the daughter of an emigre British Earl, Alfred Ravensdale who is in major debt to their gambling club There is an instant attraction and compulsive draw between Ivy and William which forms the main thread of this scorching erotic romance. William decides to kidnap Ivy in order to force the return of a large sum of money stolen from their club. I'm not too entirely sure about William in most of this book. He's very dominant, controlling at times, and very possessive of Ivy. William is a powerhouse in this book. He takes no prisoners in business, war or love.

They chemistry is off the charts from the first meeting. They but heads, but they have a connection as well. Their relationship is very physical from almost the word go, but there are softer parts of both Ivy and William in here as well. Not many from William. He wouldn't be who he is otherwise.

They have so much adversity in their story. Not simple by any means. They have a lot of conflict in their personal relationship and the same in their business ones as well. They have secrets from each other and conflict from the outside world. Separate they're unbeatable, together they're unconcurable. Can not be beat. Thing is they have to stay together first.

This does have some dark elements that may make some uncomfortable, but it's absolutely worth reading. It's been a while since I've read historical, and I'm glad I broke it with this one. I'm hoping Silk gets his own book. He's a definite favorite of mine.

I received an ARC COPY of this book "Sins" by the author Soraya Naomi for an honest review.
I'm not even sure where to begin with this book. I loved Soraya Naomi's Chicago Syndicate series and knew this one would also be good. I had no idea just how good it would be. While this book is set in 1900s Chicago, the club that William and his friend own eventually becomes Club 7 which you will know of if you've read her Chicago Syndicate series.
If you like your books to keep you in the edge of your seat, keep you guessing on what will happen next, have you laughing one moment and crying the next, make you feel like you need a COLD shower after the sex scenes... this book is definitely for you!
I wanted to hate William but I just couldn't bring myself to do it because you just know that he's broken inside due to his childhood. I loved Ivy and her feistiness. She gave William's attitude right back to him. He's the protective alpha-male and she's an independent woman - you can imagine the chemistry and sexual tension between these two!

Ms. Naomi does a wonderful job with the writing and the descriptions.
She gives the reader the vibe and mood of that era.
William Kade is a bad boy of his times.
He is an underground fight,co-owner of the first sex club in America and a total playboy.
He says no to no woman. But it’s always a one time deal only.
No lady has ever caught his eye.
Until Ivy.
He’s not only attracted to her.
But he’s very intrigued by her as well.
Ivy doesn’t want anything to do with him.
But William can’t get Ivy off his mind.
Until circumstances and a situation comes to light where William can kill to birds with one stone.
He can have Ivy with him for a time and also get back what belongs to him.

This book precedes the Chicago Syndicate books we all love. It tells the tale of William and Ivy and the first sex club on The Loop which eventually became Club7. It's set in 1900 so the times were ripe for a sex club with the secret proclivities of the wealthy during that time. William and his partner certainly deliver it with Sins, their Underground Sex Club. William is a man that's struggled to get where he is and resents the upper crust as a result of his early life. Ivy is part of the wealthy and he initially dislikes her and her independent personality. Something happens and William and his partner suspect Ivy of being guilty. William sets out to force a confession out of her. Duty and lust are at odds within William and he fights his attraction to Ivy. It's up and down with these two while intrigue is the underlying story. I don't want to give away plot so I'll end it here. I will say that Soraya has done a very good job with this story again and you won't regret buying it.

If you’re looking for a book packed with drama, a touch of romance and a good dose of erotica than this is the book you need.
In this book we meet William and Ivy. William is the co-owner to a high-rise with his friend/mentor Charles. They also own a gambling club and an underground fighting ring. And trying to open a hardcore sex club for the rich and influential named ‘Sins’. Which you might recognize if you’ve read the chicago syndicate series, as this is the start of the club that in the present becomes ‘club 7’.
William and Ivy have a strong connection right from the start. They seem to enjoy teasing each other and trying to one up the other. However, this game they keep playing changes drastically soon after they meet.
This book is written very well. It has a very good flow to it, with all the drama, suspense and darkness you could want. Although it’s in a historical setting, it’s very easy to follow.
Something I love most about Soraya Naomi is that she’s not afraid to write strong-willed and strong women that aren’t afraid or ashamed of letting go and being vulnerable at times. While the relationship between William and Ivy is a bit explosive at times, they still have the best chemistry and I absolutely loved it.
I highly recommend this book!

I don’t know if I can put into words what I just went through reading this book. It asked me to pay an emotional toll I wasn’t in the least bit prepared for. The story of William and Ivy is brutal and savage while also being beautiful and heartbreaking. I wasn’t expecting to be in tears by the end of their story, but that’s exactly where I ended up. For anyone who hasn’t read it yet, take note: keep the tissues handy, you’re going to need them. There’s not much I can say about the story itself that won’t give away all of the best secrets it’s keeping. All I can say is that this book tore my heart to shreds in the end, and I loved every second of it.

Having read Soraya’s Syndicate series, I was interested in seeing how her venture into the dark historical genre would unfold. I tend to prefer stories that take place in modern times but was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed reading Sins. Soraya painted an incredibly vivid picture of Chicago in the 1900’s, allowing the reader to experience the story as if they were a part of it. The characters are interesting and the chemistry between William and Ivy is off-the-charts. There’s enough suspense and angst to keep the reader turning pages well into the night. And I must say that I appreciated the tie-in of Club 7 with the present day Syndicate series. Overall, this book was a nice treat in a genre that I rarely read and I’m happy I had the opportunity to read an early copy of it.

If you're looking for an easy to follow, hot, steamy, sexy, smooth flowing read that captures your attention from the start. Congratulations my friends you've found it. The characters and scenes are realistic and believable. Twists and turns and unpredictable surprises that kept my eyes on the pages and on the edge of my seat. I followed the characters fascinated as their personalities transformed and blended. Vivid detailed descriptions were so life like and on point. The storyline was solided and well defined. Cold showers may be in order when your finished. Soraya Naomi did a remarkable job bringing this story together beautifully.

Soraya has done it again. An amazing story set in the 1900's in the Chicago Loop. I never thought I would like a historical book but this one was something else in the best way. William was an orphan in a bad situation. He soon meets Charles who ends up being his mentor and later business partner. Charles is wealthy and with William he runs his underground fight club, gambling, and a hardcore sex club. William is a fighter in more ways than one and doesn't lack the women's attention. Once William crosses path with Ivy, I couldn't get enough. Their story gave me all the emotions between the lies, the twists and the passion. It was a great story of two people who really belong together.
