Which is why I am going to strongly recommend Alcoholic Control: How to Stop Drinking & Change Your Life as a starting point for someone concerned about their drinking habits or those of a loved one. It’s a quibble but I think she might have spent more time exploring how alcohol abuse manifests differently in women and men, but if you want to understand what others have learned, and done about alcohol misuse this book will help you.
