The End and Beyond. In a collection of dystopian stories written by nine talented authors, you will find all type of characters, all forms of relationships. There's something for everyone. The world may have ended but love lives on. As a huge fan of apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic books, I plan to read each individual story but for the moment, this review is focused on Dissonance by RM Walker.

The world's population was wiped out by a virus. Only a few were chosen to survive by Brother Toll. He has created a safe haven for them. He's provided the rules for them to live a good life, a path for them to gain the rapture. It's a strict life with plenty of work to keep the people occupied. The people are guided by the Eldermasters who receive their instructions spiritually by Brother Toll himself. Men hold the power among the Chosen and since there are a disproportionate number of men to women each woman is assigned to a group of four husbands to serve and make happy. This is the way. They are not to question. But what if they don't fit? What if their very existence goes against the rules? Matty, Eli, Sim, and Nico are not good at being the chosen. They don't always follow the rules, they love 'differently', they question. Because of this, they have already lost one of their own.

I loved this story. I was sucked in from the get-go. It was so much more complex than its length should have allowed. I loved the guys and Matti. I hated their lives. This was a terrifying community to me because it's so real. We don't even need the apocalypse for people to end up in closed communities like this or for people in power to take advantage of those they are supposed to serve. However, the virus offered up an opportunity that allowed the complete control and isolation that allowed the conditioning. I can't imagine how smothered a person with any spirit or originality would feel. The fear of discovery for any minor deviance from the rules would snuff out even the brightest lights. The bond between Matty, Eli, Sim, and Nico offered them a little protection and extra comfort in a world where they survived but never got the chance to live. I can't wait for the next part of their story.

No spoilers of any kind included because I’m not the type of person that does that.
I thought this anthology Apocalypse was fantastic!
My absolute favorite story was Sheltered by Sariah Skye, but that’s not unusual since all her books are always my go to books when I need something awesome and lengthy to read!
Now don’t get me wrong all the authors and their stories are amazing but Sheltered was my favorite!
Anyway if you are looking for my advice about whether or not to get Apocalypse, well my advice would be get it because there are some amazing authors all packed into this anthology.
Basically it’s a big HECK YEAH I most definitely do recommend because I really enjoyed reading this anthology!

Apocalypse

While I will go through the entire book one story at a time I will edit my review accordingly.

Sheltered by author Sariah Skye is my introduction to MM romance (I've only read it as a part of a menage or RH) and I knew that she was the right choice to ease me into it. It was sweet and steamy and while sci-fi is usually not my cup of tea, I definitely enjoyed the way it was incorporated in this story.
For an anthology, this story was surprisingly developed. From Zeke's POV we get amazing world building, character development and relationship development, without having the feeling there's anything missing. This story piqued my interest and ends with a great hook that made sure I will read the entire series that will be written after this.

I read this anthology for Sariah Skye's book Sheltered. I have not read much of the MM genre, and I was once again mesmerized by this author's work. The characters are so real, and the emotions so believable. I can't wait to see this story published on its own in April 2020.

Apocalypse

Every story in here has a different take in what causes the apocalypse, how humanity responds and what exactly happens as a result. Every book had me feeling like I was right there with them. Definitely worth the money and the read time.

Only read Sariah Skye's Sheltered, but greatly enjoyed it. If other stories are as good, will be a great anthology!

Haven Montana Ash

This was such I sweet story. She learns to love with her whole heart and prepares to save the world. I will have to look out for the rest of this series. Wonderful job Montana Ash it sucked me in I'll have to revisit haven for sure.

Safe zone amara Kent

This was a great zombie book I can tell the plot will be deep. I think she ended it at a great place well done.

Serena Lindahl frequency

I really like the idea of this book. I never thought FF in a book would make me fall in love with it but I'm loving the ideal. It's a really interesting set up I really want the rest of this story.

Bonds of blood Daniel cade Quinn

I think this was a really good start for a story. It had some great world building and was a really interesting read. I liked their writing style nicely done.

Downfall Cecilia Randal

What an interesting story I didn't expect any of that at all. The story starts out in an odd place but you understand why as time goes on. I think it really makes the story.

Sariah Skye sheltered

This was hot and sexy and sweet. This story also had a deep plot buying under all the yummy man candy. I am defiantly intrigued that's for sure.

INFERNO AMONG US Erin Thornton

Its a modern-day fairytale with a dystopian twist. I love how Erin is branching out and I love watching her grow. This story was a jump for her and I loved it I can't wait to read the next two instalments. As always her cliffhangers are on point and I can't wait to revisit this world. Her imagery is always spot on and sucks you in and you never want to leave.

Rm walker dissonce

Its a freaking cult. I fell in love with the story I'll keep it in mind when I have time. It's worth reading the full version please do.
