Mounted in Alaska #1

Lynxed: A Lynx Shifter Menage

Rate this book
A plane crash delivers destiny!

Lynx shifters, Mika Andu and Bar Ra, have long awaited one thing: a woman who will complete their cluster and suit them perfectly, in bed and out. They never expected her to fall from the sky. Literally.

Summer was on her way to document life in a far-north Alaskan settlement when her plane went down. She’s stunned when she wakes, naked and in the bed of two strangers. Not only has she survived the crash but two mouth-watering men claim she’s their mate. She’s not so sure about that, but a torrid night of sex with them sounds perfect.

That's not all they've planned, and now, she is stuck between two hard chests. And it might just be forever.

When it comes to books and movies, Brynn Paulin has one rule: there must be a happy ending. After that one requirement, anything else goes. And it just might in any of her books.

Brynn lives in Michigan, where she likes to spoil her children and dogs—not necessarily in that order. She also loves to cook, travel and spend far too much time on social media. She enjoys mentoring and meeting new people and is always willing to chat. Personally, she finds great pleasure in spending time with her family and dogs, as well as volunteering around her community.

First published in June 2007 by Ellora's Cave, Brynn is the author of over 130 books, including the bestselling Daly Way and Taboo Wishes series.

According to Brynn, her writing success can be attributed to an eclectic collection of music, her local road construction crews, a trusty notebook, and of course, the people in her life who’ve finally accepted that everything is research—or will be.

Brynn loves to talk to her readers and can be found at www.brynnpaulin.com.

Seriously, I'm tired of people jumping each other's bones as soon as they meet. For the heroes, it's because of their animal's genes. But for the heroine, it' just because they look great. Really? She's just survived a plane crash, she was unconscious for 30 hours, but she already trusts them enough to be tied to the bed. And then the day after she lefts on foot, in Alaska, in the middle of the winter, toward a town she doesn't even know where it is exactly because she doesn't have a map, just because she can't have someone take her back by plane.

There must be a popularity in lynx shifters because I have read several in the last couple of weeks. I don’t mind because they are very interesting to read about and I like to read about different shifters. They are different and none are the same.

Mika and Bar are looking for their mate and they have to deal with old customs and have their mate come to them instead of searching for her. Their prayers seem to be answered when a plane falls from the sky and they find Summer along with two other women. All I have to say is they have their hands full getting Summer to stay with them. In some instances telling her that they are lynx’s is the easy part. Summer doesn’t understand how she can just want to jump both of these guys from the first time she lays eyes on them. They are strangers and how can she have these feelings? All I can say is these three really work fast and don’t waste any time.

I will tell you that there is a little BDSM in this book. A little tying up and smacking. It is a ménage between a M/F/M. There is no M/M. It has a little spice to give it an extra edge and makes you enjoy the story better. I would say that I would be like Summer and wonder what I was doing wanting two men as soon as I saw them. It isn’t that these two men make it easy on her either. It is up to her rather she stays or goes to take pictures like she was going to do. I have always wanted to go to Alaska. So reading this book has made me want to go there even more. I know I wouldn’t run into any shifters but I can still wish. I can’t wait to read the other books in this series to see how the other two women take their mates and if they stay or not.

Photographer Summer Nash is excited about the opportunity to travel to Alaska to document one of the native tribes, but when her plane crashes she finds herself having a different sort of adventure all together. Lynx shifters Mika Andu and Bar Ra have all but given up hope with finding their mate, when she falls from the sky they are counting their blessings. Bonding with their mate is no problem, getting their mate to accept them and a different lifestyle is a bit more difficult especially when their mate is can be just as stubborn as they are.

Trapped by the two cats

Whew, Brynn really knows how to fan flames with these shifter menage stories! My Kindle can't take the heat!

Summer was a strong and sassy woman who wasn't going to be a meek docile partner, oh no! She gave as good as she got and was the perfect match for Mika & Bar.

I loved the use of telepathy between the mated triad, it was a lot of fun to see them get inside each other's head

Brynn's use of not your standard animals for her shifter books is also alot of fun. She is able to push the boundaries and give new abilities to different shifter species. Something that really sets her apart as an author from others writing shifter romances.

*sigh* would've liked it better without the use of the C-word. Why people think this is a sexy and hot word I just don't know. All it does for me is pulling me right out of a hot scene and get annoyed.

I've read other books by this author & have always enjoyed them. Not this one unfortunately. There were lots..I mean LOTS of hot sex..but there's usually some time before it happens. Takes away from the story

Quick sexy read

A solid read with fun light characters. After a plane crash three women find out they are mates to shifters. I do wish they had told her earlier about being shifters though.
