Book three in Alpha Geek series by Milly Taiden
I absolutely love this series but I wish the guys didn’t lose as much geekiness like needing glasses which I know is silly.
Gray is another genius that goes to Nick for protection, that’s where he meets Skylar again.
Skylar is trying to get over a sexy geek she had crazy airplane mile high club sex with but walks into a meeting and sees Gray.
A lot of action in this book definitely feels like more then in previous books which speeds things up and makes things more interesting.
I love that Gray is a Harry Potter fan and introduces Skylar to it as well.
Got to say Milly Taiden is a instant buy for me no matter storyline or series it based in.

Embrace your nerd
The author brings us the latest geek to transform into a muscle bound alpha shifter in this new book in the series. I love how a chance meeting ends up being a pivotal moment with this couple. This might be a new book, but the characters include some of our favorites from previous transformations as well as new ones that quickly capture our attention with their quick wit and intense emotions. In keeping with the theme of the series, the author brought us plenty of danger and excitement and a HEA that you are sure to enjoy. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next installment.

It has been a while since I've read regency era books but after reading this I was reminded how much I love them. The romance and courting is something that should not have been lost over the decades then century changes. Personally I'm not much of a Christmas personally myself, but the author has described the traditions in a very vivid way that you can easily see the scene in your minds eye.

This book had me hooked from the very beginning.. Skylar and Grays story was fun, sexy and action packed.. Nothing sexier than a man who can save or destroy the earth with his brain..

I'm a security team fan and a PNR fan--give me a book with both and I'm a happy fan!
Skylar was going home. She was tired of starving and still getting body shamed as well as missing her family. No more modeling she was joining her cousin's security company. Right now she was gonna enjoy a big old sandwich. Yay carbs!
Sitting next to Skylar Gray enjoyed it vicariously through her moans which moved him toward another appetite--Mile High Club was about to get a couple of new members. Neither expected to see each other again.
When he decided he needs a security guard to protect him and his invention when he presents it to some very important people. Yep, Skylar was assigned to him. Too bad he was human vs her being a shifter. The desire was still there but it isn't safe for humans and shifters to be together sexually. They have to be too careful about the difference in strength.
He was right to take a guard but would Skylar be enough?
The danger and attack bring the chance for Gray to die or is there a way to save him and more?
It's steamy, action-packed, fun and a romance not to miss. Thank you Milly Taiden.

Gray comes from old money, the kind with billions not millions. He is never happier than when he is tinkering inhis lab. And whilt he isn't a vastly experienced male, he reads a LOT of books and he knows exactly how to please a woman!

You don't need to read the previous books to understand this one, but it will help.
This is a book that you have to be really willing to suspend disbelief and just got with the story to enjoy (seriously, just go with the flow). Skylar Milan has been a model since her teens, starving her lioness to look like what the fashion industry wants. Gray might be a brilliant scientist, but when he thinks that someone is after his latest discovery he knows he needs a bit more muscle to keep it and himself safe. He never could have imagined getting his recent mile-high hookup as a bodyguard. Skylar was fun and sassy, Gray was a good mix of geeky and alpha. If you're looking for a quirky, fated-mate romance then this makes for a quick read. I really liked the inner-voice of the shifters, it added another layer to the quirkiness.

This is book 3 in the Alpha Geek series. Skylar was heading home and met Dr. Gray Hart on the airplane where they became members of the Mile-High Club. Then they went their separate ways until they met again when she became his bodyguard. Yeah, there was a lot of things happening between the time they departed and then met again. There’s a lot of action and hot things happening so you will keep reading until you finish. The chemistry between the lion shifter and the geeky doctor will rival the 4th of July. You won’t be bored reading this book because of everything that happens between them. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Why change the formula in book 3. Nope not. This book was great I enjoyed it so much, I can't wait for number 4 to come out. Any and all MT books are my favorites. Can't put them down. This is Gray and Skylar's story . Skylar is heading for home and cannot wait to start eating food again ! She is craving bread like crazy and figures why not order a sandwich ? Well after seeing Gray her craving has changed big time ! Gray cannot believe this beauty is joining the mile high club with him ! Oh his way to a meeting danger is stalking and he needs a bodyguard . One look at his bodyguard and he knows that what he is really wanting just might not happen . Some surprises happen after an attack on Gray but oh man hold onto to you seat because this is going to get HOT !! This is one hot story and I loved it ! This is well written and recommended to all !!

How can a book make you say. AWWWW and WOWZA in the same breath? Read this book to find out. Grey and Skylar have a very hot ride when they meet on the plane and surprise.....she is his body guard too. I love that he had 2 animals in him and I enjoyed how they talked to him. I just melt for shifter stories where they know right off the bat...MATE! I love when he took her to the other “castle” lol. Gray was hot and adorable and I love how he was so mad that she had to starve herself for modeling for so long that he was fattening her up.

I wanna play dr. Now
paging Dr. Gray! This was one juicy mind blowing book. I love Skylar and Gray's book. This thing started off bowcickawowwow! They .are the mile high club and demonstrated he was a beast from the beginning. Although he was a geek but he went after her not knowing they could never be together because he was human and she was a shifter . I had no qualms about this book except for shifters don't get sick yet Nick's kids get sick. But it did make the story realistic. They had so many attacks on their lives it's not even funny. But Skylar was a total badass. Oh please hurry with Brent story.

This new addition to the Alpha Geek Series follows Gray and Skylar who cross paths when they travel together and take a trip in the mile high club. Thinking as their interlude is a one off situation they are both pleasantly surprised when they later cross paths as Gray's life is in danger and Skylar is required to be his security. What happens is a fast paced fun read, as a number of attempts are made on his life they must work together to save his life so they can have a chance to find out where this thing is gonna lead. Additional bonus to the book was catching up with previous characters in the series.

Skylar meets Gray on an airplane when she is on her way home after abruptly quitting her modeling job. Both she and her lioness are immediately drawn to him but a human is too fragile for a shifter. Nevertheless, they get friendly before parting ways and reconnect when Gray hires Skylar’s cousin Nick for protection. It seems Gray is a nuclear physicist and has an incredibly valuable invention and now Skylar is his bodyguard. There’s lots of action and twists and turns and drama. Skylar and Gray are a well-matched couple and their story is a lot of fun. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.

Awesome! I've volunteered to review this book. I love reading Milly Taiden stories. This is the third book in the Alpha Geek series. I love Skylar and Gray story. This was one juicy mind blowing book. The chemistry between Gray and Skylar is off the charts hot! There is lots of action, humor and sexy times. When dangerous shifters threaten Gray, Skylar is assigned to protect him. These characters are funny and snarky. I would definitely one click this book. Keep up the awesome work! Can't wait to read your next book .

So far, I think that Gray might just be my favorite Alpha Geek! Everything about him gets me going so I can totally get how it is that Skylar is ALL about Gray! I mean, he’s hot! For a guy that seems internally unsure of himself, he sure doesn’t act like it. There’s nothing weak about Gray in the least other than his initial form. I read through Gray’s story in record time. I hope to have more stories of the Alpha Geeks or that we get a story where they all appear. Heads up, the Alpha Geek series might just singe your Kindle!

This was a quick cute book. Gray is an uber smart scientist who has discovered something spectacular and he meets Skyler, a model/shifter after she quits her modeling career and is flying home. They have a romantic encounter on the airplane and then go their separate ways. They come together again when Gray needs a bodyguard and Skyler ends up being that bodyguard. Chaos and romance ensues.

This book started off hot, sexy and yes funny and it took us on one wild shifter trip. I love the stories or novellas that author Milly Taiden give us the reader that have us flipping the pages from the start to the very last page. Her books are never quite what you think they will be, but man oh man this one was oh so good with some not so hidden messages as well. I cant wait to see if we have more in this series...YES Please.

I 'm really loving this series!!! This fast paced read was awesome plenty of action, suspense, and of course steamy romance to keep you hook from beginning to end. So looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. I am seriously in love with this series and this author's writing in general. I literally have not read a book by this author I didn't love. Skylar and Gray are so amazing. She thinks because he's human that she can't be with him but he isn't having any of that. Now she is assigned to be his bodyguard/ protector. I just love these two so much and am so looking forward to more of the Alpha Geek series.

This book started out good—very promising—and then it just....
This became a train wreck and fast...not because of the story itself—it's a solid 3 for a fluffier read without any care for logistics of the ridiculous scenarios created—but because it has so many editing issues that I can't believe it was released as-is. I've seen a lot in a year of intense self-published book reading: this is by far one of the laziest editing jobs I have seen in almost 400 books. I'm almost impressed.

What did I catch while reading?
✏︎ Multiple instances of the incorrect character's name being used for the person being described in the text, including pronouns that mis-matched and caused serious confusion.
✏︎ Multiple instances of bizarre sound-alike words that make no sense in context being used. For example, in one part of this story they are fighting a group of male wolves. One gets bitten, and he should have yelped in pain. As written, he whelped, which is funny, but surely not what the author intended. I have some serious questions about this male otherwise.
✏︎ Multiple instances of incorrect verb tenses. So many. So distracting.
✏︎ Gray is the third installment in this Alpha Geek series, and I also read the second, Zeke, which features Skylar's sister, Alexa. Alexa is another lion shifter, which makes sense as all of the Milan clan have been lions so far. In this book, Alexa is described several times as a wolf shifter. I just.
I even reborrowed Zeke to double check the ending and make sure I didn't miss some animal switch at the end of that book. Nope. Alexa is definitely a lion. Except apparently now she's a wolf. It's downright embarrassing that an author can not keep her own characters straight. I'm embarrassed for her.
And this doesn't even begin to dig into all of the fatphobic content in this particular segment or the lack of personality in either the FMC or MMC. Fandoms and dieting are not personalities.

One gets bitten, and he should have yelped in pain. As written, he whelped, which is funny, but surely not what the author intended. I have some serious questions about this male otherwise.
✏︎ Multiple instances of incorrect verb tenses. So many. So distracting.
✏︎ Gray is the third installment in this Alpha Geek series, and I also read the second, Zeke, which features Skylar's sister, Alexa. Alexa is another lion shifter, which makes sense as all of the Milan clan have been lions so far. In this book, Alexa is described several times as a wolf shifter. I just.
I even reborrowed Zeke to double check the ending and make sure I didn't miss some animal switch at the end of that book. Nope. Alexa is definitely a lion. Except apparently now she's a wolf. It's downright embarrassing that an author can not keep her own characters straight. I'm embarrassed for her.
And this doesn't even begin to dig into all of the fatphobic content in this particular segment or the lack of personality in either the FMC or MMC. Fandoms and dieting are not personalities.

Shifter and model Skylar Milan has had enough of the fashion industry and their beauty standards - she misses both her family and carbs. The last thing she expected on the flight home was to have her hunger for something as simple as a cheese sandwich as a very different hunger for the cute doctor sat next to her on the aeroplane which ends in her banging him in the toilet. After all - she had a great time and is never going to see him again. Dr Gray Hart is in town for a serious meeting with a group of world leaders to show them a new technology that he has discovered with the possibility to change the worlds as we know it. Knowing he is being followed he goes to Nick Milan to hire a bodyguard. So when beautiful Skylar is assigned to him they are both surprised. Gray has not been able to stop thinking of her since their entry into the mile high club and now all he wants is to lay her bare on a bed so he can lose himself in what he wants to do to her. The problem is that he can’t. She's a shifter and he's a weak human. Things go very wrong during the meeting and an attack leaves Grey at death's door - using a scientific wonder serum does he survive and become something out of his deepest fantasies. He is now a shifter and so much stronger than he was before - now he has the strength to tear Skylar's clothes off - he just needs to prove to her that he is the right man for her, right after he saves the world!
This was a very enjoyable story which showed how even when not a shifter mates were attracted to each other. I loved the plots and subplots at play and the way that even with adversity they were able to get past them and find their happy place both with themselves as well as each other. Well written it was easy to feel and understand what was happening in the story. Contains explicit sexual content.

A bit repetitive but still a fun story
Skylar is sister to Alexa from the previous book. She happens to meet a geeky, cute but sexy human doctor on an airplane. Together they join the Mile High club.
Gray is a nuclear physicist. He discovers a new energy that can fuel cars, homes and more. He sees someone following him and goes to a security company. His guard just happens to be Skylar, the one he hasn't stopped thinking about.
A lot of the story is similar to the other ones in this series. Geek almost dies, gets an injection and voila instant shifter with huge muscles. I liked it but maybe a little more variety would have helped. I would have loved to have seen the couple from book one getting a cameo appearance too, maybe in the epilogue. I will probably read the next book though because we already were introduced to the characters in book two and I would love to see them get together.

3rd book in a stand alone series
I started at book 1 and decided to read all of them. This one seems to end wrong. Things I liked: chemistry between the two main characters, fast pace, getting glimpses from the book 2 characters. Things I didn't like: in the other books each hero got 3 alpha shifter identities this one only has 2. The hero mentions a device he created but never had a chance to use, I thought it was part of the story line but it never comes into play, why bother mentioning it? The homeland security pawn dies but the mastermind of all the problems is sent on his way to the hospital for a heart attack and presumably never to be heard from again.
Will I read the last story, yes. I hope it's better I'll leave a review when I'm done.
