Omega, Cody Denton’s, life has been ruled by the iron fist of a pack Alpha who doesn’t always have the Raven Hallow Wolf Pack’s best interests at heart. He and a small group of other omegas have found ways to fight back, both small and large, but it never seems to be enough. His life is a grueling mess of being pushed around by pack policies and cave-Alphas. That is until Micah Gilmore walks into his life and changes his destiny. Alpha, Micah Gilmore, loves the finer things in life. A good time, a warm body to keep him company on a long night and basking in the adoration of his fans. When he meets his true-mate his illusions of the world being a fair and kind place are shattered and Micah must decide whether to protect his own or aid in a plot to change the destiny of a whole pack. With war and revolution hanging in the balance will Micah and Cody’s love be enough to see them through the hard times ahead?
Micah and Cody have a fight on their hands. With Cody working to get freedom for the omegas in his pack and Micah joining, their story is not an easy one. There are secrets that will be revealed and others we have to wait to find out.
With the vision in the last book I knew something bad was going to happen to Micah. I was hoping the Hemlock pack would come up with something to cancel that vision. That didn't happen yet but we still don't know if it will. I HATE CLIFFHANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Micah is the drummer for the Grim Howlers. He came to Raven Hollow territory to pack up not get involved in a fight. But Cody is his true mate and he'll fight to get him out.
Omega Rebellion by Maggie Hemlock is a MM Mpreg Romance and is the seventh book in the Hemlock Wolf Pack Saga. This book is a bit short than the last couple books in the series and it ends with a lot of things unsolved and dangling - a definite cliffhanger ending. I finished reading this feeling very unsettled about the future of these characters and I am not a fan of that feeling personally. And sadly the next book isnt even out and I am not sure how long I will be left hanging.
As for the rest of the story, I enjoyed getting to know these characters and seeing more of things suggested in previous books, getting a glimpse into things we didnt see before. I just really cant wait for the series to continue. This book especially was not a good one to read when you get anxiety over characters' fates.
So the last book was a major cliffhanger and if you're looking for a resolution to that, you'll be sorely disappointed. While this was a great story of how Micah and Cody met and some background, it leaves you stuck in the same limbo as the last - only with more questions. I'm not sure where the author is going with this, but it better be worth it in the end. All the stress from these cliffhangers is going to be the end of me.
I didn't really like how thks book ended but I hope the next book will answer those questions!!!! But on that note the book is good lots of adventure & fighting love & laughs!!!! We get new characters & reconnect with old ones!!!!! If you enjoy the books much as I do you'll live the book like I do!!!!! Thank you - Lori
Omg i am so confussed how this story ended I hope Micah gets rescued or something happens to that horrible pack. I cried so much please continue this story and make sure they get a happy ending
Urgh!! I absolutely HATE cliffhangers but after the ending of the last book and then this one I’m damn glad that I’m binge reading and already wrote series and can dive straight into the next one!
I'm not sure how I feel about this one. The note from the author was slightly confusing, and then the continued story left me very confused. I've got book 8 to read. Maybe I'll edit this review after reading 8.
What a freaking cliffhanger!!! The book just ends and there are cut scenes to "what might have been". Which I did not read because in my mind that's just cruel. I'm giving this 3 stars because up until the end it was really good. In my opinion, the author should have put the cut scenes on her website or something instead of in the book. I hate thinking there's still plenty of the book left and then bam it's over! *sigh* On to the next.
