Four Houses. Traditions. Secrets. And Romance Waiting At Every Turn.
Welcome to Lunar Academy. Which House Will You Choose?
Tori Ballard chose to become a wolf. For as long as she could remember it was something she’d wanted. The problem: her wolf is impulsive and free-spirited. She relies on instincts and not much else, which isn’t how Tori moves through life. She prefers structure, schedules, and knowing things well in advance. Until she decides to give in to the sexy southern guy fate seems to be forcing her way.
Holt Taylor had a solid plan for his life until it evaporated when he was attacked and bitten. Now he’s part wolf and enrolled at the academy. He still feels angry, lost, and as though he’s spiraling. There are only a few things that can put him back on solid ground–fight club, cardio, and Tori. Even if she doesn’t know it yet.
When the two find themselves pulled into something bigger than anything they’ve ever been a part of, they must focus on their future while trying to contain the passion brewing between them.

Wolf Bitten by Alyssa Rose Ivy and Jennifer Snyder a five-star read that will nibble at your brain. This is Year One, Book Four in the Lunar Academy series and what a way to end the year, I haven’t wanted to return to school so much. The Bitten house has always fascinated me, as the other houses seem to have felt superior to them in some way, but that’s not the way they have come across in this story. This shows us the different sides of the Bitten, Tori Ballard who has grown up with wolves in family and chose the wolf and Holt Taylor who had the wolf thrust upon him, it goes deeper into just because one chose and one didn’t doesn’t mean they face the challenges you expect. Together maybe they can help each other, get used to life with the wolf, show each other the challenges they face. That’s why I think this one maybe my favourite of the series, maybe it’s because we get to see other characters pop up, it just as it goes deeper and gives more.
I liked that Holt was always trying to surprise his girl, even if it tended to backfire, “it’s a surprise,” I said, noticing how her smile wavered. “Just trust me, okay?” Tori wasn’t one for surprises. She’d made it clear when she flipped out on me for buying her a houseplant three days ago." The man is clearly protective, "I positioned myself in front of Tori, blocking her from everyone’s view even though she was already fully dressed. It was a protective gesture that came to me on instinct thanks to my wolf." I liked this book, I liked Holt
This has been a great series so far. Definite cliffhangers in each but makes me want to read the next one. I love, love, love Holt!! Such a gentleman! Tori is a lucky girl and I’m hoping Holt can continue to help her come out of her comfort zone. With this book I’m straddling the fence as to who the good guys are and who are the bad guys in the whole series. I have favorite characters now on both sides...lol. Anxiously waiting for the next book.
This is Tori and Holt's story. They are both from the Wolf Bitten house at Lunar Academy. She is a an overachiever and has a crush on the very handsome Holt. He finds that his feelings toward Tori change and he can't get enough of her. When they finally get together, they find out that Lunar Academy has big secret happenings. Will they both become involved? Will they step into danger? Great additiom to this great series. Loved it.
I’m absolutely loving this collaboration. Wolf bitten introduces Holt & Tori. Their story is full of emotion. I gasped, laughed and felt sad all while reading. Recommend to all
Wolf Bitten is the fourth installment in Lunar Academy, a new series co written by Jennifer Snyder and Alyssa Rose Ivy. If you haven't read the first three books in this series, then I recommend that you do prior to reading this one. Although they are individual standalones, the order of events is key when you have two writer famously known for their intricate detailed storylines.
In the Wolf Bitten house, we meet a very different set of dynamics. These students may or may not have know the super natural work prior to being bitten and becoming a werewolf. Feelings are intense, high and often confusing for this group of students. Holt and Tori are no different. Almost instantly these two have a powerful connection that has yet to be fully explained. Much of this book is these two coming to grips with who they are apart but also together. Their relationships is sweet, tentative on the surface, but their wolves connect in a way that is still very much a mystery.
ARI and Snyder bring us full circle with the fourth installment. At this point we've seen every side, every angle of the resistance verses the Elite, but yet have no answers as to how this will play out. Although it doesn't end on a cliffhanger, these authors still leave much to the imagination when they end this one. Enough to keep our minds reeling until the next year of Lunar Academy in August 2020.
I didn’t care much for tori she was ok compared to the other leading ladies of the series but holt was a likable enough character. Again I know they wanted to give you bit by bit of the plot but the lack of connecting the stories to a clear main plot or maybe I missed something but really not much happens in these books is a draw back for me. I did like the parts where the different characters interact with each other seeing axel and leonel for how ever brief was nice. My wish for the series is that the characters interact together more I’d like to see them come together for a common cause or solve the mystery . And have the different story lines come together for a main story. I like the majority of the characters and wished I could see more of them however with them being short stories it feels like your missing a lot or it being cut off basically a lot of in answered questions about the characters let alone the story. This series has a lot of potential however just with these 4 stories alone it felt lacking so hopefully they clean it up with year 2.
This academy has given us four types of fractions in this school so far and a book for each: Wolf Born, Wolf Blood, Wolf Bound, and now Wolf Bitten. I think this was the most laid back and casual of them all. Is any other day at school with students and friends doing normal things. We have Holt & Tori who have had a crush on each other and finally make something happen. We get a cute relationship that blossoms and in the process they find out what they want to do when an important decision is to be made: Reveal your Wolf to the world/humans or keep it hidden and let someone else volunteer. Cute couple! It was a nice fast read! I love some of the every day activities that took place like the “fight club” scenes! Nothing like burning tension in a friendly-ish fight 😉
I liked the newest installment of the Lunar Academy. Tori and Holt aren't my favorite characters so far (although I still really liked them!), but I think this one is the most interesting house. I love the fact that Tori chose to be bitten, and Holt was bitten against his will, but Holt has accepted his wolf more than Tori has hers. I'm excited to see what the next book brings now that we've met all the houses and the main groups of characters.
***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*** OMG Two of my favorite authors teamed up to write a book together and it is AHH…MAZE…..ING! Sometimes there is just the right book to get you out of a reading funk and this was it! This book keeps you captivated throughout the entire book and you just want to finish it to see what happens. Gloria and Lionel are so great together. They have this strong connection from the moment they meet. This is definitely a slow burn romance, but you still get the feels in this book! I cant wait to see what the next book holds for these two and all the other characters I love to hate and hate to love and then the ones in between where I am not sure if I trust them yet.
I enjoyed this book and series but I didn’t care for how it ended. Definitely a cliffhanger and leaving me wondering what happens next. The happenings from the previous book with what happened to Lionel’s father doesn’t really tie in with what the Elite are trying to accomplish. I’m left with more questions. Was Tori’s dream real or input by someone from the Wolf Bound as happened in the previous book. It certainly doesn’t make me want to read anything else by either author. Unless it’s not in their contract, I would think that one of these authors could take up the mantle and at least bring the two factions to a peaceful or otherwise conclusion. I still gave this book a five as I liked the storyline I just didn’t care for the ending.
I have to say this book was well worth the wait. A lot of information was in this book. I didn't feel like I was being left on a cliff hanger. And now I can't wait to read some more. So don't keep me waiting..
Adult content, reader discretion advised. Tory and Holt's story is sweet. I think they get pulled into something bigger than they understand starting with a trip to visit Holt's dad.
RATING: 3.8-⭐ AGE: Pg-18 (college setting- too much info about sex for kids under 18) SERIES: LUNAR ACADEMY It was good each book in the series is about a different type of wolf mixed with different paranormals. There is mystery that connects all the different types. Mrs.C. 💋
