Do you know a kindergartener who's on the move?

* Maybe one who loves to dance and twirl.
* Maybe one who goes gaga over cars and trucks. Plus, every big machine ever invented for transporting something... somewhere.

Bet you can see where I'm "GOING" in ths book review.

Because Bob Barner has moved his mind into synch with mid-to-late kindergarten readers. Based on that, he's ready to race ahead with them, moving-moving-moving.

* Few words, but the right words.
* Plus pictures that are fun to see and easy to "read."

"Go, Go, Go" is a FIVE STAR success from author and illustrator Bob Barner.

This brightly illustrated story uses simply beginning words for very early readers, and still manages to be a page turner, as kids and adults alike will want to see more dogs driving psychedelic dump trucks, puppy chaffeurs driving rainbow limos, and the like. Readers will discover something new to look at and love with every reading!

Simple text and illustrations. Great for beginning readers as well as fans of transportation books. The colors were a bit bright and unrealistic for my tastes.

Not much story here. Dogs driving vehicles. Very colourful vehicles. They go. They stop. Ducklings cross. That's it. A bit basic for us.

This was a simple beginner reader book. there was no plot but the illustrations were nice. This would be a good book to add to a class library for younger students beginning to read independently.

Easy reader in picture book form about transportation and letting a family of ducks cross the road.

At our park storytime, we used the ASL words go and stop. We also counted that ducks when they appeared on the page.

2021 storytime theme: Cars (Road Trip)
2022 storytime theme: Wittmann Park (vehicles)
