Amazing ride!

I just finished this book and I found it to be very inspiring and relatable, especially between some of the family members. I felt all of the feelings Quinn had about not fitting in and having to go along to get along. Hope not to spoil, but my favorite part was at the end that contains Quinn's interview with Carmen. I could feel all of the emotion the author put into those final pages. This read will not disappoint!

3.5 stars. The storyline tackles body shaming and bullying which cut to the core because I remember those feelings from my youth. However, the story needed polishing so fix the flow, at times it took too long to get to the point and I could not find one likeable character in the bunch.

I had to stop several times. Not because the book was bad, but the total opposite. It was such a well written story that had me in my feelings. I had to stop because it brought up things from the past I thought I had resolved. I lived some of Quinn's life, so I felt every emotions she did with certain aspects of the story. I also loved seeing her growth throughout the story. Another thing I appreciated about the story was the aspect about seeing a therapist, which I will continue to stay in our community we need to embrace it a lot more. This was an amazing and very well written story and I'm excited to see what's next in store for the author.
