Wonderful, lyrical, moving poetry. I especially loved the third section, and 'A Week's Routine in particular.

I was lucky enough to read an advance copy of Michael’s anthology ‘Slow Phoenix’, and the collected works is beautifully written and at very top of his genre.
I was very honoured to read the book before release day. Highly recommended. Poetry at its very best.
