Sure know how to end a book lol really enjoyed it but that ending hopefully won't be long for the next one

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Wicked is book one in the Everest high series. This story is short, fast paced and entertaining. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Wicked is the first book of Ashlea Ryan’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable.
Annabelle is the new girl at Everest High. She has one more year of school before she can go wherever she wants. From day one at her new school, the king of the school has his eyes set on her. Damian is attracted to Annabelle from the moment he sees her. That being said, he takes great enjoyment in torturing her.
I had mixed feelings about this story. Specifically Damian. I disliked him yet I couldn’t help but like him. His attraction and growing feelings for Annabelle. That being said, some of the thing he did to her had me wanting to kick him. I have to admit, I loved how possessive Damian was of Annabelle.
I really liked Annabelle’s friendship with Piper. I loved that she stood up for her more than once. I was cheering Annabelle on when she did what she did to Tommy.
The cliffhanger at the end of this book has me eager for more. I need the next book now!

First book to be read by Ashlea Ryan. Ok I did enjoy this book, but this book didn't sit right with me. Like Annabelle meet Damien on day one and hates him, but by day 2 he has his hands up her skirt? Annabelle just annoys me at this point, And there is no way you can kiss me in the janitors closet then shove me away like I'm nothing and you expect me to still want you. At this point I'm more interested in Lee and Piper's story than theirs. I will admit that ending through off guard so hopefully there'll be hope for the second book.
