Can’t say she didn’t warn him.

When fate puts the couple’s relationship to the test, Ned gets a taste of the true definition of unlucky. Freak incidents occur after every intimate moment, each one as frightening as the sex is hot.

No one rivals Phyllis Bourne when it comes to short and punchy comedic romances.

I love Bourne's specific style for this series: first-person for both protagonists, directly addressing the reader, and having responses/asides from the reader (or the peanut gallery, or the audience in their head, or however one might conceptualize it) included. It's funny, and it allows the characters an enjoyable level of self-consciousness and acknowledgment of the absolute ridiculousness they're involved in. (In this case: a jinx against any man whom Waverly tries to get with, and Ned's determination to prove that it's not true.) It works so well for this series. This is able to be read as a standalone, though the characters from the first book are present and play background roles here.

Jinxed No More!

Ned and Waverly's story was so much fun. Waverly's belief in the jinx thingy was too funny, but painful to the men she dated. I laughed so much my co-workers thought I was having too much fun. I hope we get another visit with Justice and Alex for the new addition to their family. Once again, the author delivered a beautiful story in her uniquely amazing humour. The perfect rom-com for a weekend read-a-thon. Bravo!

Great, funny story!

This was such a cute, funny story! Poor Waverly, such a beautiful woman, just accident prone. And sweet, smitten Ned just excited to be with Waverly. I have to say, the stories of Waverly's exes were hilarious, though I did want to punch that snarky doctor. I love that Ned was firm in his resolve to have Waverly regardless of rumors or even her own profession of being a jinx. Ned just loved her. Period. I really enjoyed this book. Another great story from Ms. Bourne!

Hilarious!!!

Phyllis Bourne has done it again! The accidents that befall poor Ned are funny enough, but the back and forth between the imagined readers and the main characters? Hysterical!!! So many laugh out loud moments in this one.

End and Waverly (love her name!) are too adorable. Waverly definitely had our boy Ned gone, cause I would have bounced after the encounter with the spider. But he persevered and things turned out great for these two.

So nice to catch up with Justice and Alex! I'm loving their little slice of Nashville. Hope we get to return there soon!

Keep the funny coming, Ms. Bourne!

Stay or go

What do you do when someone tells you that they're jinxed? Waverly had bad luck with all the guys she dated. A series of unfortunate events indeed. Ned wasn't giving up on his dream girl. There were plenty of laughs, the doctor at the hospital took the cake for me. A short, sweet hilarious story. Alex and Justice were the funny as usual.

I literally laughed out loud with this book

I literally laughed out loud with this book! I thought Feud (the first book in the series) was funny but this takes the cake. Jinx will keep you laughing hysterically. I will not give the book details away, just one-click and expect to
laugh a whole lot.

Joyously jinxie

Jinx is that wacky comedic love story you would love to read. Marvelous mishap surround Waverly and Ned from beginning to end. Ms. Bourne 's hilarious humor sends the couple in a tailspin and the reader into hysterical laughter with each romantic encounter. A must read and forever 5 star 🌟 worthy.

Follow Your Heart

Not a superstition person but my heart went out to Waverly and Ned. Seeds planted in Waverly head were causing her life to be a joke. Ned was strong man he never gave up. Well written, understood her fear. Can't wait to read what the next neighbors will be into.

Cute Funny Read!

Poor Ned, was determined to show Waverly she was not jinxed. Even if he injured himself in the process. Those moments were hysterical too! I love the way the story was told, reverting back and forth between present time and the thoughts of the characters (their conscious if you will). Entertaining read.

Jinx just wasn't for me

First let me say I enjoy Phyllis Bourne's work. I did finish reading jinx it was difficult I could not seem to get into it. Waverly and Ned I know that they were attracted to each other but things kept happening and Waverly really believe she was jinx. Just wasn't my cup of tea I guess. I gave it three stars because she is such a good writer.

Your It 🤞🏾

Ned and Waverly’s journey was super cute and steaming! I guess we all at one point in life believed in superstition events! I’m happy that Ned finally got his HEA! I can’t believe Alex and Justice are having 👯‍♀️, still madly in love 😻 ! Great catching up with the couple!

Cute

It's been nearly two years since I read book one in this series so I feared forgetting details that would make this a slow start. But no, I delved right into this comedy not missing a beat. Cute and witty, but the 'readers' thoughts' dispersed within threw me off sometimes. Loved it though - a classic example of 'you become what you think'.

Laugh out loud LOVE

Well what can I not say this love story is cute, sexy, and so funny. You will laugh out loud and swoon over that Teddy Bear book bae Ned and that book smart Waverly. So if you enjoyed Feud this follow up is even funnier, sexier, and filled with all the right shenanigans. Ms. Bourne has done it again!

A Fun and Flirty Read

I love Ms. Bourne 's style of writing. It's so refreshing to read a love story that is different from the norm and that grabs your attention.. I was all in by the second chapter. I was rooting for Waverly and Ned's Love to conquer all!!! So good to catch up with Alex and Justice too!!!

Pretty good

There were several funny moments in this; the characters talking to the reader was actually kinda endearing and were some of the funniest moments. Overall I thought the story was interesting but kinda rushed (I thought the same about Ned's feelings), and again with the abrupt ending, but it was a cool read.

Loved it!

I am loving these new stories by Phyllis. Feud was amazing but this was heartwarming and amazing. Who knew Ned was such a romantic? Waverly was perfect for him, even if their journey was colorful.

Ned and Waverly were hilarious! I wanted to hunt Sandra down and beat her from the front yard and thru the neighborhood for what she started! Nice to catch up with Justice and Alex. Ms. Bourne never fails to deliver love and laughs!!!

The Jinx and the young and hung

LMBO! Phyllis Bourne has done it again - managed to make me feel like an emoji. My mouth is either wide open because of an omg moment, or, I'm busting out a deep-bellied out loud laugh because of the humor in this book. This one's for everybody.

Good read

Ned made her see things differently with the jinx stuff Waverly just was fooled by her so called friend Sandra. I would still beat her ass for having me thinking I'm damaged goods for anyone. I hope the next book they'll bc having a wedding and some kids soon.

Umm

Mmhh, I don't know what you guy read but these stories were juvenile. There was no climax to the story. You might enjoy the story but it wasn't my cup of tea. Please judge for yourself.

Laugh out loud funny

This story made me laugh out loud! It was like watching the show Sex Sent Me to the ER. It took a while for Waverly to figure out things happen, something Ned has told her from the beginning. You will enjoy their journey.

Cute book. Takes a while for you to realize that the main characters are also speaking to a narrator or like having internal dialogue with themselves. The romance wasn’t all that paced & sometimes unrealistic to me, but overall a cute short read.

This book was just as funny as the first one.
Waverly was lucky to have found Bed. No matter how many mishaps they had he refused to give up on them. The things that happened to her men, I would have run as far away as I could.
It was nice catching up with Tate and Justice.

I dare you

I cracked up at this story. As soon one who grew up believing in voodoo, I'd be looking for a way to reverse the said curse! We came up believing in superstitions. This was hilarious and I'm happy love won!
