Book Review
“Guide to: A Writing Habit” by Nina Amir with authors: Tom Corson-Knowles, Marc Guberti, Mary Jaksch, Linda Kane, Mridu Khullar Relph and Carol Tice.

I bought the Kindle Edition of this helpful book hot off the press. Nina, a high performance coach has sprinkled her best tips throughout. The book is informative, inspirational and delivered in the collaborating authors’ professional and personable styles.

The Goal of the book is to impress writers with the importance of a consistent writing habit with time set aside during your most productive time of day. Morning is best, before the myriad of tasks and duties demand your attention. However, it’s up to me to determine my best Productive time for Quality Output (PQO); essential for my “Life’s Work” as Nina puts it. I am writing what matters to me, to make a difference, and to “achieve my purpose and potential”. These are exciting words! When we elevate our thinking like this, we’re inspired to give writing our focused attention for the day, making it our priority. I totally agree!

I like and recommend this book. There are key points that make it different from other books. Portions by Tom Corson-Knowles, Marc Guberti, Mary Jaksch, Linda Kane, Mridu Khullar Relph and Carol Tice give helpful views inspiring my writer’s journey. I’ll be watching Nina Amir and her supporting cast of authors for additional works and tips.

Nina Amir is also the author of: “The Author Training Manual”, “Blogging Basics for Authors”, “Authorpreneur: How to Build a Business Around Your Book”, and more https://writenonfictionnow.com/books-...

I have been successfully writing nonfiction for over 40 years and I only wish that I could have read this book when I was starting out. I would have made my journey from being an aspiring writer to being a writer so much easier. The Write Nonfiction Now! Guide to a Writing Habit by Nina Amir will get you started of on the right foot. "How to Write..." books are plentiful but the ones that really help the new writer are few and far between. Most authors of these books fill them with fluff, but Nina Amir is the exception to the rule, this book like with all her books is packed with need to know information. So, if you're serious about writing nonfiction, you need to read this book.
