Emma and Jake are one heck of a couple. She's sweet, sassy, takes what she wants (especially from him), and can pack a punch. He's deeper than he lets on, passionate about his family, and loves her like crazy. Together they are steamy deliciousness with sparks flying everywhere. I reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It was a great with the having characters that are well developed and engaging and have plenty of chemistry. The flow of the storyline was steady and smooth. Another great book by this author.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is told from both Jake and Emma's point of view. Emma's sister Anna was dating Jake's brother Sean. When Emma was at a bar with Anna, she sees Jake, and is attracted to him, but knows he is a player. Emma is still a virgin and wonders if Jake could be the guy to take her virginity without catching feelings for her. She wants someone to teach her things and knows Jake will never settle down, so she asks him. Jake has noticed Emma before, but she never seemed interested in him. Jake is not the player everyone thinks he is and he actually would like to settle down. When Emma asks him to take her virginity, it makes him want her even more. Unfortunately for Emma, a member of the local MC notices her and he hates Jake, so he tries to threaten Emma to hurt Jake. Jake thinks if he isn't with Emma, than she wouldn't be in danger, but he is wrong. I loved this story. I loved Jake and Emma together. I think Jake really loved Emma and wanted to protect her. I think he wanted to settle down with her and hoped she would believe he wanted to be with her. Another great one from Alexia.

Previous books from this author that I have enjoyed reading were written in single POV but there was a second story where as a reader you got to read the story in the 'Flip' side. This book is longer but we get both POV in one story. Meet Emma and Jake, where Emma is a virgin who is attracted to Jake, who happens to be her sister's finance's brother. Jake is a player and so he is perfect for the job that Emma wants him to do. Can you guess what that is? As the story unfolds, the road to HEA becomes very bumpy and twisty. Another great story that has some secondary characters from other books - I loved this part. I cannot express how awesome it is to read a quick, dirty and HEA piece of heaven and easy fit this into an already busy day. There is no shortage of story or character details, always get a fantastic HEA read. Enjoy!

Another fantastic book by Alexia Chase. This full is full of humour, action, steamy hot loving and an instant attraction for Emma and Jake. Emma’s sister Anne is marrying Jakes older brother Sean and they try to keep their romantic a secret from their siblings because Jake is a player and Emma is a virgin. Emma asks Jake to come to her house to fix her plumbing and he certainly helps Emma with her problem.

There is action from a biker who targets Emma to get to Jake and her life is at risk. Read how the whole of Jakes brothers rally round to protect her. You will love the antics of the characters in this story and fall in love with them. You can’t go wrong reading any of Alexia’s stories for entertainment. Oh yeah, they do have a very happily ever after. All I can say is next.........

This was a great insta-love romance by Alexia Chase. Emma knows Jake would never be interested in her but she cannot help her attraction to the sexy biker. Jake is also a brother to her sister's fiancée which further complicates the situation. But who better to help her lose her virginity than a player like Jake who knows how to take care of business in the bedroom? Lately Jake has become tired of the one night stands and the women wanting him only for bragging rights over sleeping with a biker. And after one night with the beautiful Emma, Jake knows he has finally found the woman he wants forever. But attention from a rival biker threatens their new relationship. Jake is determined to do whatever it takes to protect the woman he is falling in love with. Cannot to read more about this sexy group of brothers and their sassy sister!

Not as over the top as I thought it would be, but it was short and sexy. Lots of open dirty talk between sisters with their guys around that I guess could happen in real life, but I thought the dialogue was kind of YA in nature.
Their attraction was steamy, but their relationship seemed kind of highschool-ish. A bit of drama when Jake broke it off with Emma to protect her but failed to tell her that was the reason.
All in all an entertaining short read.

Oh boy! I love stories where it could be considered part of a series because it’s a character we’ve seen before. If you’ve read Ana and Sean’s story, this is her sister Emma’s story. The connection and attraction between her and Jake is instant and undeniable and sizzling. The back and forth and Jake’s indecision will probably frustrate but boy, is it fun seeing them give in to the attraction. I loved the dual point of you and seeing the rest of the family dynamic.

This story picks up during The Bad Boy story of Sean and Anna. Alexia Chase continues with Emma and Jake's story.

Jake is thought to be a player, maybe in his pat but now he is trying to get his degree. Emma always under the nail.of her sister, just wants to find who she is.

Emma and Jake have such a great chemistry that melts the pages and makes putting the book down difficult and wanting more.

The Player by Alexia Chase is a quick read novella focusing on Emma, a virgin attracted to her sister Ann’s fiancé’s (Sean) brother, and Jake, Sean’s brother who is a MC biker and player. Emma and Jake have an instant attraction, but sinister forces are at play. This book is well written with an interesting plot, drama, forbidden love, rollercoaster relationship highs and lows, and sizzling chemistry. This is the first book I have read by Alexia Chase and I plan to read more in the future.

This book is well written, exciting, funny and enjoyable – love the amazing dialogue and the banter between the Callahan family. The chemistry between Emma and Jake is instant and they fit each other perfectly. It is a page turner with some drama and it will hold and keep your interest from the first page and some scenes will make you laugh out loud. I look forward to reading more about this family. A MUST READ.

This is my first book by Alexia Chase. It’s a MC story with dual POV. I enjoyed the story. It took me a few days to finish but overall a good story. I enjoyed both the main characters and the others. I will have to read the others. If you like sexy bikers and bad boys this is a book for you. It could have used a bit more action but overall ok. I would recommend it for a quick sexy story.

Alexis Chase has become one of my favourite authors. She has a way with bringing her characters to life. Emma and Jake fall for each other fast, but then the author throws in some suspense. I love how Jake would do anything to keep her safe. I also loved that Emma had a lot of spunk and knew how to take care of herself. This is a great short read if you have some down time.

I loved this story. I liked the little bit of Emma and Jake from the first book and I am glad they got their own story. I liked the way they meet and that when Emma decided she wanted to loose her virginity to Jake she went for it. I thought they had great chemistry. I loved that Jake was more than meets the eye.

I love reading Alexia Chase insta-love stories, including this one. Love the main characters, especially that she gave the bad boy some depth. So I don't give any spoilers I will just say I don't like how she decided that is what he meant when everything from actions to words said elsewises. Yes I know vague but don't want to give any spoilers. Of course there is spicey, dirty talk, and hot! Would recommend.

Very Satisfying Read!!

This novella played out exactly as advertised. Ms Chase certainly does keep her word in what she says she is offering. Even though this story dealt with a motorcycle club, within this realm a lovely romance unfolded. There was comic relief and this tale also showcased excellent relation between siblings. Lovely.

Emma is the good girl. Jake is the bad boy biker that is also a player and Emma seems to think that makes him a perfect candidate to take her virginity, but Jake has other plans. And then when someone in his club wants to harm Emma he has a tough choice to make.

a player who’s not a player

Emma and Jake are an insta lust couple and you know it’s gonna be hot. Emma is Ann’s sister and Jake is Sean’s brother whom we met in the previous book The bad boy. They meet and sparks fly. Great writing, great characters and steamy, what’s not to like?

Love this story and the path to their happy ever after. Loved both Emma and Jake. I really want to know if and when they get pregnant and what it is.
