If you love animals, don't pass up this book. It made me laugh, sometimes astonished me, and sometimes brought me to tears. But I am also left with a better love and respect for the whole animal kingdom, not just the small corner of it that touches my life.
A great compilation of heartfelt stories of amazing animals, and people too. A great book for animal lovers. An even better book for those that do not think animals have feelings. Simple stories that open your eyes to how much compassion is around us.
I read this as an e-book, and one story segged right into the next, but other than that editing problem it was a wonderful, touching book and I loved every story in it. In the back is a bibliography for further reading.
