Tears, Tension, Blood and Bonds Sacrifice has it all. The bonds that are growing between - Regan (FMC), Ethan, Lucas, Nathan, Josh and Rory (Sigh Mr Hot Scot!!!!) A major bond thats lost with Regan losing a friend (which had me shedding a few tears). Beautifully written and heartbreaking at the same time. This series is just fantastic and flaming hell that ending??? Just killer (Quite literally)

Wow. So book 1 was freaking amazing and book 2 is just as freaking good. These two authors together are phenomenal!!!! Loving this storyline and the characters are insane!!! Oh I want more!!! Highly recommend reading this series.

Short story!
This is a great story I just wish the books were a bit longer. The twist & turns makes for a good read. I like the hotness also I just wish it had more variety in the steam. That ending I need to know who’s there.

A step deeper into the twisted world of Regan and the Veil.
I am loving this strange and twisted world Regan and her men have landed in with her parents and this crazed cult. There are some truly twisted people who are a part of The Veil and 2 of them are very close to Regan.
I am really happy to have read more about each of the guys and their secrets that were revealed in the last book. There was so much more to their secrets than initially thought. It actually made me more sympathetic towards them especially the ones I did not care for in book 1 like Joshua. It just goes to show that not everything is as it seems and what lies beneath the surface can be completely different than what is seen at face value. Reading Regan’s secret broke my heart. To have so much love and be self sacrificing to give up someone you love because you know it is what is best for them, takes a very strong woman. That chapter actually brought tears to my eyes.
The only thing I personally did not like about the book was the weird ritualistic public display of fornication with The Veil. I mean, I understand that weird and twisted cults usually go hand in hand with twisted and weird rituals, but for Ethan and Regan to actually have to perform the public display of sex while her parents were in attendance was awkward. Thankfully it was a quick scene that didn’t have a lot of details.
Overall this is a truly unique series that is incomparable to anything else I have read before. It’s creative, slightly twisted, and full of drama and excitement that had me on the edge of my seat. And that ending...that broke my heart too!! 💔

I'm so addicted to this thrilling series! It's hella good! That beginning and that ending was freaking crazy!! My heart pounded throughout the book and I shed lots of tears this round. I was so not ready for her to go! Oh, my heart! I love these characters so freaking much! I'm rooting for them and praying Regan isn't in over her head! Her parents are a real piece of work! I don't want to get too into detail and spoil anything, this series needs to be read! Things definitely heat up in Sacrifice! These guys are deliciously swoon-worthy! I love all the passion and how easily they all fall into place with each other. I totally have to hots for Rory! So glad Regan has him in her corner. I feel like out of everyone, he will be the most prepared. Rory's secret, heartbreaking connection to Regan killed me. It's a blow I didn't see coming! As pieces start to click into place you're left with so many questions. Who can you trust, are Regan's secrets really safe, and what's true and what's fabricated? This author duo is so great at keeping up the suspense and still managing to knock us on our rump! Unpredictable is an understatement! Right when you think you have things figured out, boom, a bomb is dropped and you're left trying to find your breath! Scarlette and Bailey will forever be one of my favorite team-ups! You just can't help but be intoxicated off the magic they create! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I borrowed this book via the Kindle Unlimited program and am choosing to leave a fair and honest review.
Sacrifice picks up shortly after Consequence, the first book.
We rejoin the characters, Regina and her men, Joshua, Ethan, Nathan and Lucas after the events in Consequence. Having survived and joined together as a unit, they return to their lives as trust fund babies. But their souls are scarred by their secrets.
Regina's mother informs her daughter that she will have to choose one of her men as a sacrifice at their family's celebration.
And that's just the start. There is a great deal of action, both in the bedroom and out. As a thriller, it works. As a contemporary academy romance, this book works. Throw in the assassins and the reverse harem.
The characters are fairly clearly delineated, and I enjoyed how the grew together and then apart. Tension among the male characters makes sense for them, as well as the cooperation.
Bedroom (and other areas) sex scenes sizzle and are written extremely well.
I even enjoyed the sucker punch of Regina's real secret.
Amazing and full of so much drama.

And your emotions in a blender. Seriously. Sacrifice took my heart, dropped it into a blender, and it frappe. While the novel had me on the edge of my seat, I also turned into a blubbering mess for Regan and what she had to go through, and her best friend. Having had cancer myself, I had a really hard time with book 2. A really hard time. So, my warning to you is that if cancer/tumors/hospitals are a triggering point for you this may not be the series for you.
The two authors did a phenomenal job on their writing as well as their story. I found myself annoyed with the guys in book 1, and now with Sacrifice I can't quite decide who is my favorite. I have a love for crazy men, so I have to stick with her childhood foster brother for now. I did decide who I would sacrifice to the Veil. Lol, but you'll have to decide that on your own.
Book 2 ends on the Cliffhanger of all cliffhangers, but I don't think its the guys. I hope book 3 turns around really quick because this is the very definition of "Can't win for losing." Its discouraging to read. I have faith it will turn around though into their version of a HEA or HEA for now. Great writing!

Oh my gosh! It started with a bang and it ended on a cliffhanger my poor heart cant take all the excitement, but I love it all the same!
This book shocked me as it was a true emotional rollercoaster of a read.
I didnt expect to have my heart ripped out, yet I did. I didnt expect to be a crying blubbery mess, but I was and I certainly after all that did not expect to be prepared to beg for more. Yet I am!
I couldn't decide who to give my heart to in book one "consequence". All the boys spoke to me in a different way. Here they each continued to stroke different reactions from me yet I want them ALL!! Gimme, gimme gimme!
There's so much to this book, and I found it has a little of everything. Shocks galore, pages that provoke sadness, and moments of lust and temptation.
Now it's over I feel like I need a moment or three to recover but I would not say no to more!!

G Bailey and Scarlet Snow just keep whipping out these great stories! Sacrifice, book two in their Holly Oak Academy series picks up right where Consequence left off. Everyone's past is revealed and with everything out in the open, Regan and the guys can finally work together to survive her parents and The Veil.
In this book we learn more about the guys' secrets- and they're not quite what we were led to believe at the end of book one. All of these characters have a difficult past, Regan included, and we finally get to know everyone's full secrets as they grow closer and begin to really open up to each other.
And wow that ending! I thought book one had a bad cliffhanger but this one is killer! We finally know Regan's secret (totally knew it by the way ;p) and apparently we're not the only ones! I can't wait to see how this will all play out and what Regan and the guys will do in the next book!

Wow! What more could you want in a thrilling book about secrets, life and death? This book was an instant hit in my eyes. These two authors, bailey and snow, are phenomenonal together. The story is raw, exciting, hot and full of emotions. This second book took me through the ringer, I just was in awe of the words and the feelings they gave me. I cried throughout this book, it was that raw. We get to see the men in Regan's life for who they really are and how human they really are. I loved watching the group get closer and closer. And that ending... Wow! Didn't see that coming! Now I need book 3 like I need air. Beautifully written and the story is so original that I literally had to read this in one sitting. I need more! Fantastic read, five stars hands down!

Evil Geniuses
The first book of this series blew my mind, I loved the plot, the relationships, the characters. It really made me curious as to how this series would develop in the next book. The authors made it even better. This book is a fast read and in the few hours it took me to finish it, I laughed, was shocked, cried (ok, bawling is more like it), was angry,... All the emotions were so masterfully woven in this book and I don't even have words for how much I love where this is going. That cliffhanger though, was BRUTAL! Now excuse me, while I go stalk the authors into writing that final book ASAP. Impatient? Not really. Eager to have more of this evil genius spawned by 2 amazing authors? Why yes, yes I am!

My heart still hurts....
Holy...fudge...could this book break my heart anymore?!? The truth behind the horrible "sins" the guys are guilty of...Regan's secret...all of it slowly chipped away at my emotions but Regan's secret, that flashback, that did me in. Man this book was good!!! Scarlett and G. Bailey are brilliant- the story pulls you in and you become invested in Regan and her men. Oh the steamy, sexy times are there but the characters, their story, that's what makes this book 5 stars. That ending was heart stopping but so was book 1 so I guess I'm not that surprised, just sitting here with my nerves shattered is all...Seriously, this story is dark and serious in many ways but so well written that you need to read it.

Omfg 🤩 I love 💕 this series so much .... I was hooked from first couple pages , completely compelled and engrossed in the awesome 👏🏻 book 📖 that this is 😊 it has everything , sexy sciences , gorgeous young men to drool 🤤 over , killings, death 💀, I cried 😭, I laughed 😆, I wanted to scream 😱 , shout and just slap 👋🏻 cruel nasty disgusting people who don’t deserve to breath let alone have children 👶🏻....ha ha I say it’s only a book 📖 Shelly , but it’s not just a book 📖 at all .....its a movie 🎥, that plays in my head ......WOW Gemma this is one of my favourites you have wrote 👍🏻 and that ending dam girl ...I was shouting and swearing 🤬 like a trooper at me ipad my husband thought I’d lost the plot 🤭love love love 💓 it seriously you guys need to read this series 😊🤺

What an amazing follow up to Consequences.I’m still trying to process everything that happened in book 2.I started reading, couldn’t put it down, and before I knew it the book was finished and I was just sitting here trying to imagine what was going to happen next.My anxiety is at an all time high thanks to two phenomenal authors.In Consequences we got the start of the story, some of the guys’ back story’s, and just a bit of sexy time mixed in.Now book two was where we got all the yummy steamy scenes and we learned more about Regan’s history.When I started this book, I was definitely not expecting to cry so hard, but somethings are inevitable. This book just further proves that not everything is exactly as it seems.😉

Loved this!!! The followup to book one, Consequence, book two Sacrifice really steps up from what I thought was a pretty good first look into this series. The plot, characters, word flow and overall feel of this read really goes to the next level. These two authors together are a powerhouse, and I need more.
Be prepared to feel all kinds of emotions, and yeah maybe even a tear or two. I will say with how engrossed I was in the story I felt like I blinked and I was done. So a very fast paced read. You are going to laugh, which I so enjoy humor in my stories, and a touch of anger.
So basically, go read this series. If you are looking for a good high school romance with dark themes, this is a must read.

I was warned before I read the first book that it is very dark and honestly it is not like something I have read before. If you do not like very dark romances, then this book is not for you. Please note, there are trigger warnings.
Book 1 completely shocked me more than I thought it would and the second book was no exception! Seriously though... this book has so much suspense and darkness that will keep you on your toes.
That ending! OMG who was it in the limo at the end and how is she going to take down her parents. What a cliffhanger?!?!?! I need the last book in the series so I can know what happened!!!

THIS WAS AWFUL. Not only the extremely toxic relationships, the "badass assassin" that she claims to be is an easily manipulated imbecile that thinks with her hormones, not to mention that shit doesn't add up in the storyline, she was in foster care and never meet her parents but the people who adopted her gave birth to her? The guys were all from filfhy rich families that couldn't protect them from the stupid named council (Veil Council, seriously?). I had a few of G.Bailey's books in my TBR pile but they are being removed NOW. Don't waste your time reading this, you will only cringe and regret the wasted time.

Well, damn! I read book 1 and quickly read book 2 which was even better than book 1 and Amazon isn’t selling book 3 anymore? WTF!?!
I love a bully romance, reverse harem. This series is great. My two biggest criticisms are more than a few grammatical errors, as in needs more editing, and so short that you don’t get as much character and story development.
In any event, Regan is an adopted, BAD *SS, child at the mercy of her evil parents. Not going to say more. This RH is a little different in that one of her romantic interests is her much older, Scottish bodyguard.

I flove this series
Really I dont know what else to say, book 1 was amazing but this one is next level amazing.
I'm not good at writing reviews but that doesn't mean I cant say how amazing I thought this book was.
I started this book with fear of who bitten the bullet (LITERALLY) and that scene changed from fear to a big WTF ! And the whole book is the same, you think it will go this way but it went that way, and that ending, it's worse then the the first cliffhanger, cant wait to see what they do in book 3!

So good!
Reading this book went so quickly I was surprised when I got to the point where this book ends. Questions about what happens next crave to be answered, but I'll have to wait for the third book of the trilogy which doesn't come out until October. Reading this book went so quickly I was surprised when I got to the point where this book ends. Questions about what happens next crave to be answered, but I'll have to wait for the third book of the trilogy which doesn't come out until October. Holly helll, what In the fu**ery f**k just happened, nooooooooooo, you can’t leave your readers with that cliffhanger, omg I had to do a double take to make sure it really finished with that insane cliffhanger, I mean wow I jaw hit the ground so fast, ugh I’m dying I can’t believe that happened, all I can say is that book 3 is gonna be awesome and probably insane as hell. Can’t wait, this has been one hell of a series and definitely a must read 💯 % recommend it!

Twists and darkness at every turn...
Oh my goodness... This duo can take you for a wild ride... I don’t know how I’m going to wait for the third book. Right now I’m holding my breath as I wait after that nail biting cliffhanger. The heat in this one was set to inferno in every way. We can only hope there’s a light at the end of the tunnel and a way out of the game for the entire group.

I Loved this one more than the first! And the first was DAMN good!!
I am now coming to the realization that if these two authors named are on a book(s) it's going to be one HELL of a Action Packed(and Naughty of course😘) Ride!!

This book hits you in all the feels. From the first moments until the last, it is one roller coaster ride of emotions. So many twists and turns and steamy encounters. Secrets are revealed that you do not see coming, and I love how strong Reagan is through it all. Through everything, she remains strong and has a plan to get her and her guys through what awaits them. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

OMGosh that ending tho!!! The next book couldn’t come quick enough I really need to know who!
This books seems like it was over quicker than the last but alas it’s almost the same length, it’s just that a lot happens quite quickly and it was so easy to devour it it fast.
We get to see Reagan in a more human light, and how her relationship with the guys are progressing, secrets are divulged and plans are made to get out of the Veil but will they succeed ?
