This was a great ending to this series - although I discovered right as I finished it, that this series should have been read before the Birth of Magic Series which, of course, I'd already finished, before starting this one!
I'm going to have to rewrite my reading list, to make sure I read it all in the right order, when I get to reread the whole Kurtherian Universe again - which won't be for some years, considering the amount of books I have, that are waiting for their first read, let alone a second one!
But, getting back to this book, it fitted in beautifully for the next series, as that is where I first read of Caitlin and her crew.
This book brings a lot of other lines together but, as much as I enjoyed it, there was a feeling of things being skipped over, in order to rush to the ending but, apart from that, it really showed me who Caitlin really is, and how determined she was, to find a cure for the Madness. I have to say that I really love her German Shepherd Jaxom, and am wondering if he's something to do with a certain Vampire, currently off fighting Kurtherians! Lol
As I was searching for any more info about my reading list, I actually came across another list - one that I'd downloaded from an FB Kurtherian readers group, and had forgotten I had!
Looking through it, it seems like this list is the proper one that I should have been following from the start, so I'll be doing so from now on!
According to this list, the next book that I should read, is book One of the Rise of Magic series: Restriction, so that's what I'm going with from now!
But worth the wait, don't know how long until the next one I'm thinking it best not be too long. Caitlin, MA, Cain and Jax are still questing for the cure. I smiled when some familiar names came up. Don't want to do any spoilers. Read it yourself, it's fantastic.
It was good to see Caitlin & gang moving towards her goal whilst helping out others, new people, as well. And such a surprise to see characters from another book! (Some of my favorites as well!)
Caitlin is on a journey to find Helena Milliken, a woman who left her diaries behind & those diaries describe how Helena was working on a cure for the Madness, which still affects humanity. The gang has misadventures, leading to new friends, & the famed Helena! Until they get to Helena, the gang was unaware of the sudden time limit their path would take them on. It just gets better from there!
Please keep writing about Caitlin & crew. Any way you can, Dan! This is a fun ride & I will enjoy when the next installment gets here too; I just know it!
I was very excited to see another book in this series. Caitlin and her crew keep getting better and have lots of good times in the world of madness. It was great to have some surprise characters from other books show up and get a little caught up in how their lives turned out. Cannot wait for the next book to continue the adventures.
I've had this book for a while but with new releases at fan pricing every Saturday, somehow it got pushed down in the end number of books i have on my kindle. Lol. But it was so with the wait. I don't want to give anything away but it was awesome to meet up with so many old friends from the Age of And Valerie 's series. Just add more to the whole KGU universe including answering many questions.
Caitlin and friends are on a mission to find a cute for the madness. I devoured this book, it was so good. Compelling characters, exciting situations, some surprising reunions, and revelations that being her closer to her goal. I can't wait to are where the next book takes us.
Such a long wait but we'll worth it. So many familiar names and people. Love the introduction of Ezekiel and Lilith. Did not like Mary Ann getting infected but a good way to continue the story. Loved it....
So many surprises!!! I can’t share because it will be a terrible spoiler, but we meet new old people!!!! This is an awesome continuation of Caitlin’s story and I was spellbound. The next book *has* to be released soon! Pretty please.
The race is on…. with Ma now inflicted, the trio become a quad and race for help to cure the MAD. Caitlin has become the heroine in this tale by gathering the unlikely along the way to rebuild humanity and liberate them from the madness.
I enjoyed this book more than the last! But I’m unsure of all the new developments it all seems a bit strange. The more I think about it the more it baffles me especially the fact that these people are now flying over to Europe to find a cure! Very strange
Age of Madness introducting a familiar character (to people who also read Age of Magic series) although i think Caitlin and cos journey could have been spreadout bit more to another book as the ending was a bit rushed, but still a good book.
