An absolutely fantastic conclusion to The Weapons Takers Saga. You might have to get out the tissues out for this one. Jamie Edmundson just tore out my soul..😥 This final book is so epic it has it all, from Duelling God's, A Giant fighting a Dragon, lots of magic and so many battles will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. Our twin heroes and their companions have one more godly weapon to find, the Giant's Spear. If found they will have all four magical weapons to take on and help try beat the dark forces unleashed by Diis. Soren and Belwynn will face their biggest tests to date. Friends and allies will fall along the way, but will it all be for the greater good. You will have to check it out for yourself. Great writing with so many good characters, the worldbuilding, plot and setting is just brilliant. The narrator's Greg Patmore and Brigid Thomas have have been awesome through out the whole series, highly recommend...😁🖤

The Giant’s Spear

The final book of “The weapon Takers Saga” was a fitting end to a tale of vast scope. I was engaged throughout the series and now wish for more tales of the friends I encountered reading these tales.

Brought the entire story to fabulous closing.

Great epic series

This review is for the entire series. It's truly an epic saga of strength, hope, love and sacrifice. There's even a bit of romance, but more than anything it was a great adventure. I'm looking forward to more from this author. 5 stars is not enough, I give it all 10 fingers up, and that won't begin to give it justice.

The Giants Spear was a fitting ending to the Saga. It tied up all the storylines and although some of the main characters died, it was still satisfying. Lots of action too.

Wow what a great book. It takes the reader on many adventures with our team of hopefuls splitting up again to get things done. In this story you find intrigue, betrayal, battles, magic, unusual races, friendship, difficult choices. An stunning end to a epic story

I loved the end of this tale and as David Gemmel always said, if your hero's has to die make sure they die well.
Great characters with realistic situations and lots of action and adventure.

A breath taking ending to what has been a breath taking series, it was an ending which was very satisfying and which we the readers who have followed the series deserved! Our heroes are still searching to retrieve the final weapons needed by Madria the Goddess in order to defeat Diis the God. As usual a war between Gods ends up being fought by humans and so many lost their lives in the process. The battle scenes are epic and the world building that went into this series is awesome and our cast of characters is so fleshed out they end up feeling like our friends in the end. In this book we encounter a giant, a dragon, many magic wielders both good and evil and the more sentient drobax than the usual drobax horde of mindless creatures sent to the slaughter. Once all seven weapons were in the hands of the seven representatives needed to wield these in Madria's name the battle would come to an end but before that the Gods had to fight their own battle for dominance over Dalriya. I love the surprise ending to this series, it took me by surprise but I am glad to see Belwyn finally get a backbone and stop being used. Well done Jamie Edmundson for this captivating and very exciting series.

Fantastic conclusion to a epic fantasy series. Battles will rage, populations are decimated, but the search continues for the final weapons. Nobody knows if the weapons of the goddess will be able to turn the tide of an enemy that seems to have endless numbers. Emperors, kings and kingdoms fall, but seven unlikely heroes, will come together to destroy a god.

I thought these characters were absolutely fascinating, as well as compelling, and unique. Magical battles, mages, gods, magical weapons created by a goddess, strange and sometimes scary races, within a plot with plenty of twists that keep you guessing, and reading into the night.

I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this ARC.

Enjoyed it

The story ends here and there are no cliffhanger s yet I can see other stories coming from this one. Much better editing this time. I liked that there were relationships but no explicit sex or foul language. I hope the author decides to write more of these characters

Wow, what an intriguing story. Who can resist bad forces. Totally captures you from the beginning. The characters and the story are definitely made for each other.

Overall, the series could have been better. A lot of the characters I did not remember or care for. More than half the time when a character dies, I'm sitting like, "Who is that?" However, this book was quite a game-changer. The ending was better than the rest of the other big battles of the series. Also, an end I straight did not expect. Honestly, I thought something else would happen at the end, but no, it was completely different. Excellent stuff; however, I did not care for most of their characters much, even though they were the story's main characters. One character stood above all of them, and his name was Rabigar.
Rabigar is hands down the best character out of all of the cast. He had lost so much and still fought on. Sadly, he wasn't in the story's climax, but the way his journey ends is the best thing to happen to the character. The journey to find the giants was so compelling. And once we got there to meet the last ain't Oisin, was Rabigar at his best. Oisin is also my second favorite character. Glad I got to see him in action. These two characters made this book ten times better, especially. Rabigar, for me, made the series better. If he wasn't in the story, I think I would say fewer good things to say about story.
The series as a whole could be better. The majority of the characters, to me, were not good. My investment in the war was minimal. The Magic system... well, it exist. The creatures of the world are very creative and unique in this book, and Rabigar is the best character.
