Wow! This is a great book about an intelligence agent named Cassie who is an assassin for a secret British agency and follow orders to kill people who are causing danger to the country and even the global system. She meets and falls in love with a Scot named Matthew, who becomes a major distraction to her in her current assignment which has to do with his best friend (Stewart), an ever-growing popular political figure. She is either to protect Stewart or eliminate him depending on events as they occur. And then she may even have to eliminate her lover, Matthew, since he probably knows too much. So it becomes a major dilemma, causing lots of action and adventurous events, with many shocking surprises. I haven't read a book in long time that held my attention this much. I highly recommend it!

Wow! Wasn't quite sure what to expect going into this one, but it was one of the most intriguing books I've read lately. Right off the bat Cassie has gone missing and as the story goes on we are trying to piece together who she is and who is telling the truth. I was pleasantly surprised with the twists that kept me guessing the whole time.

This book has it all! Suspense, danger, revenge, secrets, betrayal, action, unexpected plot twists, a great storyline that keeps you turning the pages, oh, and some hot sex scenes.

Wow, this story will keep you on your toes. Every time I thought I had this story figures out, I was wrong. Who are the good guys, who are the bad guys, and who to trust? I was totally captivated by this story!

I also enjoyed the political angle. Is there really a honest politician?

Definitely worth a closer look...

I love a strong, independent, and intelligent woman and Cassie proves herself all of these things. But when she meets Matthew all of her training takes a backseat to their chemistry. The story starts off a little slow but picks up as we try to decipher who the good guys are and what exactly is going on. A twisty tale with a couple you can’t help but fall for this intriguing book was a fun read.

This was definitely something different from this arthur that I've read. It drew me in from the 1st page to the end. I love those kind of book's where your trying to figure out what's going on they give you just enough suspense to keep you guessing and it wouldn't be a PJ Adams book if there's not some hot sex scenes thrown in.🔥🔥

Cassie Deane just wanted to do her job and get out, but she found out that getting out wasn't going to be easy. Matt Scullery was sure he finally fund "the one", but when Cassie disappears and leaves behind evidence of a secret life, Matt is stunned. Matt has loved a lot of women, but he has never been in love, then he meets Cassie at a Charity event. Cassie used Matt to get closer to her objective, she never thought she would fall for Matt, in her business that could be dangerous.

Wow, these are unique, complex and compelling characters who will do things they never imagined for the person with whom they unexpectedly found love. Suspenseful, intriguing, steamy, and well written book with unexpected twists in the plot. Fantastic book!

It was all supposed to be simple. Observe and get close just in case. It was just another job until she fell. He was so different than what she expected. He got her. But he wasn't part of the equation and now things have changed, but I can't let go. What happens when he finds out I'm not who he thinks I am? From the first page to the last it's a non-stop adventure. The author takes you through the steps revealing a little daylight and twist at every opportunity. What do you do when your heart won't let you do what needs to be done? She wars between heart and duty. He wars between trust and loyalty. Who is right and who is wrong? Who do you trust. Their story doesn't make since. Their story isn't a fairy tale. Their story could destroy an icon. Their story could release a beast. Which is right and which is wrong? Great story that holds you until the last period.

Wow! What a roller coaster ride this book was! The characters are extremely complex, and the plot Ms. Adams has woven, will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Full of suspense, action, deceit, unexpected turns and twists, and of course, a love story like no other, this book is so intense, you won't want to put it down, and be prepared, as it's lengthy, but worth it. I find that even though we are following the story of Cassie and Matthew, Ms. Adams has left numerous "openings" for future tales from Section Eight. Hats off to you, P.J.! What an awesome read! I'm looking forward to the next one of your creations.

In a world of intrigue, politics and deceit Matthew Scullery felt lost. Feeling betrayed he was questioning what was real? What to believe? Cassie Deane had a mission to carry on but what if things were not as they seemed? Could her feelings jeopardize her mission? An intense drama with unexpected twists, mystery, betrayal, romance, lot of suspense and violence. Had no idea what was going to happen next. Liked Cassie’s strong character with so many resources, strength and courage. An intriguing plot development that had me thrilled with the interesting and detailed narrations and description that had me following cues and feeling sorry for Matt. A thrilling story that kept me reading avidly and enjoying the action and the suspense.

Cassie is a secret agent and she is currently on a mission when she meets Matthew. She hadn't counted on falling in love with him but somethings are out of your control. Matthew loves Cassie but he really doesn't know her because of her secret life. Cassie doesn't know what her objective is yet buy knows it has to do with Matthew's friend Stewart. Will her job cost her the life of her life? Can she complete her mission and still be with Matthew?

This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

If you are looking for a suspenseful romance to capture you totally this would be one that could do it. In this the characters-Cassie and Matt do the deed from the get go. A female whatever can get me sitting up in a minute with her being with the British secret agency. The dilemma's that are grown in this one that are faced are enough to make your hair stand on end at times because you are pulling it. Could I do those decisions? Probably not but oh what fun to read about it. You will disappear into this world with all the drama and danger that at times can heat up too.

We have friendships, romantic relationships, and politics all wrapped up in this book that keeps us guessing who is the good guy until the very end. I love these section eight stories that keep us on the edge of our seats from beginning to end.

Enjoyable read! The story is filled with intrigue, suspense, deceit, betrayal and romance. There are lots of unexpected twists and turns through out the story which lead you through a suspenseful, romantic tale of betrayal and espionage.
