Do you ever find yourself hesitant to use your gifts because you're afraid you'll fail? Many of us feel so insecure about what we have to bring to the world that we hold back our voice and talents instead of delighting in how God made us. Bestselling coauthor of Wild and Free , Jess Connolly has a passionate plea for Take It Too Far . Several years ago, Jess began using the phrase "take it too far" as a motto for her spiritual life. She found that those four words freed her to recognize and use her God-given gifts to serve others. Just as Jesus offered extravagant love for us on the cross, God calls us to live extravagantly for Him as we take grace, forgiveness, and faith as far as they can go in our lives. Take It Too Far includes 100 devotions exploring topics such as peace, rest, purpose, hope, wonder, discipline, and courage. Each entry includes a Scripture verse, reflections from Jess, and a conclusion that shows you how you can take it too far today . With the Holy Spirit's guidance and Jess's freeing charge, you will be inspired to bring your full self, gifts, and voice to your work, family, and relationships. The possibilities are endless when you tell God you're ready to Take It Too Far.

When I first borrowed this from the library on Audio, I didn't realize that this was a 100 day devotional. I have really enjoyed listening to this over the course of my day, in lieu of reading it over the course of 100 days. I feel like it was just as impactful reading it all at once as it would be over the course of several days.
Do you play it too safe? Are you holding back? As author Jess Connolly says “What would it look like if we agreed with our actions, with our hearts, and with our lives that we were meant to be like Him?” We must remember we are made in His image, and God doesn’t play it safe when it comes to His children! In this 100 day devotional we will broach topics of peace, humility, understanding and forgiveness. Each day has a scripture reference, a short devotion and a few questions to reflect on. Are you ready to start a life of taking it too far to reflect your life in the image of God? I loved this book and all the insights shared by Jess about her own life and family. She brings truth, honesty and an abundant love for our Savior right into our lives each day for 100 days. I have reflected, journaled, laughed and cried on this amazing journey of faith. Will you join us? Thank you to Jess Connolly for an advanced copy of the book to read and review.
100 short, but powerful and honest devotionals. Jess Connolly gives clear explanations and applications that encouraged and challenged me. This for sure wasn’t the last time I read throughout this devotional.
I truly looked forward to reading my devotional each morning! Very relatable thoughts to God’s word, yet quick reads for a busy mom! I will be reading her next devotional as well! :) well done!
