Welcome to the world of Tikka! The witch of Watts!
Tikka Belefonté doesn’t want much, only just to be able to live and let live. But how is this possible when you’re a witch and your boyfriend is a Grape Street Crip. Still, love chooses Tikka and there is nowhere to hide other than behind her magic. Yet, it is no secret that she is spoken for by the neighborhood gang leader, Elijah Royale. The wild crazy journey starts when Elijah returns home from prison and it seems to prompt peculiar events, forcing Tikka to use her magic constantly to secure her love and to protect herself and Elijah. Tikka looks up and she is whisked away into a world wind of drama, chaos, murder, and magic! The question is— can she survive it? Or better yet, is her magic enough to promise her and Elijah, another day?
Ignore the one stars (the troll hid them on here) but they are on Amazon. They all came from the SAME, weird, ill minded reader whose obsessed with me and tried to sabotage me.
I thoroughly enjoyed following Jah and Tikka’s journey in Down Ass Witch. I was invested in from the very beginning, and couldn’t wait to see how things would evolve. The pacing of the narrative captivated me and kept my attention, even while dealing with my rambunctious 18-month old (on a plane I might add).
Too foolish, I really tried to give this a shot but it was silly. She has powers that she uses in the projects for stuff like, getting her gang banging boyfriend out of jail, robbing stores for their rent, and other bull. No imagination with this one! 11/9/2019 23:32
Wow just wow this is a first book for me by this author and it wont be my last. This book was good I'm hoping this is not the end of the road for Tika. Will be reading more from this author
First book by this author. I'm here for Black witches, but I don't love how Tikka got her power. The book needed more editing, there were a lot of errant commas and some weird formatting, but that might be specific to the Kindle version. I don't feel compelled to read the sequel at this time.
This book was really good, i like the flow and how it brought the good bad and ugly. The characters where explained and the story flowed. This my first read by this author and i will be reading Pt2. Hopefully
I was definitely NOT expecting it to end this way!!!...Tikka and Ocean both got bullets!!!... Now where did Elijah baby and momma go and who is the trigger man...So many questions with very little answers!!!...I really wanna know what the 3rd thing is!!!...
I love urban fiction and books about African magic so this was the perfect combination of hood and magic! It was action packed.. fingers crossed for a 2nd book!
