Gideon accepts Cora’s bet, however, and humors her in the attempt to win her hand. Will the biggest event of 1903 in southern Idaho enable Cora and Gideon to stop arguing about the future of the automobile? Is the beginning of a new era in America also the beginning of a new era for Cora and Gideon? Winds of Change is a fictional story based on an exciting true adventure. About the author

Vicki Hunt Budge makes her full-length fiction debut with Intercession. She grew up in southern Idaho with a mother who read to her and a father who taught her to golf and swim. Vicki attended Idaho State University and the University of Utah. She began writing for the Friend magazine when her children were young and she’s published many stories and articles for LDS church magazines since that time. She and her husband raised four children in Central Oregon, but now reside in Utah. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Vicki enjoys reading, hiking, cooking and serving with her husband as a missionary in the LDS Addiction Recovery Program. Four wheel fever

Ever since Ford's trip to the city the previous year, she has been crazy about automobiles. Gideon Lewis and his family have been prominent wheelwrights for generations, but Times are changing. How can he and his family sustain their livelihood and how can he convince Cora that he is not stuck in the past. This is a grand adventure love story filled with history in the making!

This was a great story of the first automobile to drive across America. Although this is a fictional book, there are a lot of facts written into the story. I was thoroughly entertained. There was a sweet romance and plenty of lovable characters that made this story so wonderful!

Winds of Change

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Its a sweet love story during the time when automobiles were first being made . The joy it brought to families who could afford them, although the roads were not built for them in those times. The love of Gideon an Cora was so refreshing to read about, also their loving families lives too.
