Brant is book 11 in the Enigma series and it was another enjoyable addition. Although there are books in the beginning of this series that didn't work for me, I'm so glad I never gave up because it's definitely a favorite series of mine. At the end of book 10 Brant and Syrina's plane crashed and this one opens up with them being taken by the Cuban government and Brant seriously injured. It is immediately clear that the government has decided to do their own experiments on the Bracadyte female. Their first test is to see what her blood can do and they start by giving it to Brant. Although he is terribly injured the Bracadyte blood heals him and his bond with Syrina begins. I loved how they both tried to deny their feelings especially Syrina since she is from the Arkadian clan that despises humans. I loved their journey and I'm so excited to see that this series doesn't seem to have an end at this point. I looking forward to Pyre's book next.

Brant is a beautifully crafted journey into the complicated web of discovering and accepting love. We never think we are worthy of such a precious gift, and yet we know deep in our soul that we cannot live without it. Love’s only purpose is to heal, revive, and cherish the souls that it touches. Pushing love away from a soul tainted with loss and guilt will only leave them emptier and hopeless in the end. They are the ones that need it the most. Only love and hope can keep the darkness at bay and help them to live a life they crave.
Brant’s only purpose in life is to help those in need. He doesn’t see a future beyond that. He knows what is capable of, and it doesn’t go past the surface for him. Finding himself stranded with Syrina, he is determined to keep her safe at all costs and deliver her back to safety. He pushes himself past his breaking point to keep her close and unharmed, and he hates that he needs her help to accomplish this mission. Syrina knows it will take more than her own strength and will to get out of the hell they have stumbled into. As she watches Brant do his best to protect her, she finds her stubborn prejudice against land walkers waver and threaten to topple. She can’t deny his good heart and his even stronger will to make sure she lives no matter what happens to him. When she wasn’t looking, love swept into the cracks of her heart and forced her to face a few truths along the way. Will one weak moment be enough to pummel the steel defenses around two desperate hearts, or will it reinforce the realization that the differences between them are not worth the fight for their heart’s desire?
Brant is one of the characters of this series that I have been hoping would get his own story, and I have been completed blown away by it. I had no doubt he would make waves when it was his turn, and he didn’t disappoint in the least. Syrina took my completely surprise. I wasn’t expecting her story to intersect so intimately with his. In fact, I would never have guessed it, but I love discovering surprises! Surprises can be good or bad, but this one was absolutely incredible. I held my breath as I watched them get to know the other in a way they never expected, and I loved seeing what happened as a result. I swear these are two of the most stubborn people, and as a result, they had a uniquely breathtaking journey together. It literally took my breath away!
Ditter Kellen is an incredible author who never fails to touch my heart! Her amazing heart that she pours into her stories has always left me utterly speechless. She has continued to bring fascinating and devastatingly romantic stories between characters that should logically never fit together. Instead, she proves continually how love doesn’t care about the appearance, our origins, or our circumstances. All it cares about is how it connects with the another heart which was made to fit the other’s soul to perfection. This is a powerful proverb that more people need to hear. The people of this world were created to be as colorful as the rainbow, and love was made to connect us all. There is nothing more simple and yet some people refuse to listen. We need to stand up and show them that the color of skin or religion or any other factor has nothing to do with the power and purity of love which can remake this world into the paradise it was always meant to be.

When Syrina wakes up she is strapped to a bed captured by the Cuban government. Syrina is humiliated but when she finds out what they have done to Brant Henagar the human guy also taken is seriously injured. Syrina finds out what they are doing is they are experimenting with her blood on Brant. Syrina must get out of there alive but what will happen to Brant who has received her blood. Syrina knows the implications of what will happen if Brant survives there will undeniably be a strong link between them now. The worst problem of all is what Syrina’s father will do when he finds out. Also what can Syrina do about the bond that is steadily growing between Brant and her? Brant also doesn’t want to admit his attraction to Syrina either. Can Brant and Syrina find a way to stop the people wanting them or will their love be the thing that ends up taking both their lives?
This is another great edge of the seat fast moving action science fiction romance. The world of the Bracadytes is a world easily imagined even with the separations of the Bracadytes and Arkadians. Unfortunately, this is a series that must be read in order to understand exactly what is going on because the previous book left our female and male protagonist in a deadly airplane clash, so this book picks up right from there. Even though there are different couples portrayed in each of the books understanding the relationships between everyone without reading the ones before this book will be confusing. Still the book is hard to resist especially for ones that have followed this series from the beginning. Syrina in this book seemed reduced to a weakling when in the previous book she was this Amazonian like warrior woman that enjoyed fighting. That is kind of missing about her she seemed to lose that especially when others wanted to do her harm. Okay maybe considering the circumstances and the weakened state she was in she couldn’t really fight so that was totally forgivable. Brant the handsome ex-Marine kind of was a surprise. Yes he was the younger brother to one of the previous human characters but he wasn’t all that young so perfect fodder for a great book boyfriend despite his flaws and hang-ups. The story is engaging that makes waiting for the next in the series an absolute must!

Syrina is a Bracadyte; an alternative race that lives hidden from the surface world of Man. He is nearly dead after the crash, but the infusions of Syrina’s blood have healed him… and bonded him to Syrina, at least enough that they can share telepathy. Through their mental bond, Brant knows when Syrina is angry, sad, happy… or in danger.
Syrina is devastated that the bond was forced between Brant and herself. It should be HER choice whom she shares blood with. But at least the bond isn’t complete. She hasn’t ingested any of Brant’s blood, nor have they lain together. Too bad Brant’s a surface walker; he’s rather attractive in a dry lander way…. But Syrina knows that her father, Vyken, would end Brant’s life if he knew that Brant was bonded to Syrina in any way… So Syrina just needs to make sure her father never finds out.
Brant finds himself attracted to Syrina; her courage, her strength, her beauty… despite all his efforts to keep his distance, Brant and Syrina grow closer. After escaping from the lab where they’re being held, Brant finds it difficult to dismiss the ever-growing attraction between them, as does Syrina. But Syrina hasn’t told Brant all her secrets, and Brant and Syrina are still in danger, not only of losing their freedom, but their lives, not to mention their hearts….
I was riveted from the first sentence. Ditter Kellen has done it again! An amazing story that captures your attention and doesn’t let go! Fast paced, incredible imagery, plot twists that surprise, this book has it all! Some sexual scenarios and innuendo, so not for audiences under 18.

I am so mystified by this world that DITTER KELLEN has brought to life. Each and every character supports each other , and you can feel the love and other emoticons practically punch off the page !
In this 11th book , we follow Brand ,Fiona's brother, who is also a Marine , and his Bracadyte Syrina. She is is fearsome Northern Bracadyte from off the coast of Maine , and has come with her Princess Kaspyn in order to ascertain if the Southern Bracadyte s are a threat because of !king Klauses's involvement with the dreaded Land Walkers .
They Are ! The northern contingent does not trust ANY Land Walker- NONE ! And have raised their offspring accordingly. So imagine Syrina's surprise when she starts to call for one !! A very sexy , handsome one, but a Land Walker nonetheless.

Brant is the 11th book in the Enigma series from Ditter Kellen. What are you waiting for, grab it today! Beautifully written, wonderful story line and even though it’s the 11th in the series it’s a story you can pick up and read without having read the previous stories. I must admit that now I have read this instalment l am going back to book 1 to see how it all started.
The story revolves around Syrina who is Bracadyte and Brant who is a marine and human. This instalment starts in a very violent and drama filled environment with both our heroes restrained and captured by the Cuban government. The Cubans know that the blood flowing within Syrina is special. To them its worth the torture of a human and the extinction of a Bracadyte.
We are introduced to other members of the marines and Bracadyte, along with interaction with previous members as we see how their lives have been unfolding. I loved the building story between Syrina and Brant. It was innocent and decadent rolled up into one sexy parcel. It was painstaking to watch their love grow and but truly worth it.

As the 11th book from the Enigma Series, Brant and Syrina's story is not your typical love affair. This Bracadyte warrior will learned that her true love is none other than a human and this is something Syrina will have to realize that Brant is her mate.
Like the rest of the books from this series, Syrina/Brant is another great book. Each story will make you forget you're reading a fictional book, and let's not forget you will not want to finished the book, that's how good the story is.
I strongly recommend for you to read this book/series.

I have adored this series since the very first book and Brant's story did not disappoint!
As you read the previous books in the series, you could see the unwelcome attraction forming between Brant and Syrina. They would have to learn to put their differences aside and come together if they wanted to survive those who are against them.
This book picked up right where their story left off and I loved the twist the storyline took. It introduced a new threat and brought in a variety of new characters
I am so excited to see where this next book takes us and I can't wait to revisit earlier characters!

Seriously love these books. I look forward to the next storm with impatience..
Ditter has such a way of weaving a story that just sucks you end until the very end.
The stories make you wish they are real just so you can meet the characters. This book more so as these characters are such strong willed people and bad to the bone.

LOVED IT!
Another amazing addition to the Enigma series with Brant and Syrina's story. Packed to the hilt with drama, suspense and danger. Syrina and Brant fight to the bitter end the attraction they have for each other. (Not acknowledging their bond, but willing to die to protect the other). Love this series!

Syrina and Brant is everything and more💜 I swear these two are stubborn!!! I had been waiting for Brant's story for a while now and im happy i finally was able to escape to Aukrabah. Augh i cant wait for what's next to come!

Awesome read!
Loved it! Another great one. Ditter never fails. This was hot hot. I loved how they kept denying they were mates. Everybody knew but the two of them. Lol. Grab it and find out the rest. I couldn’t put it down. Brilliant!

Truly amazing
I gave 5 starts because this story keeps getting better an better. Leaves you wanting to know more. Loved the intriguing fact that the characters are so lovable even if they are hard headed☺❤
