Part of a series of illustrated, short high-interest books for young readers. A boy tries to keep his (possibly-disabled?) brother out of trouble and ends up trying to rescue him when his friends put him in danger. It's good for older kids who need lower-lexile texts but don't want to read texts geared at younger readers. I think I prefer the Bluford series, but this one was pretty good too!

Nice story about standing up for yourself and not giving up when things seem impossible. Also don’t play in storm drains, it’s dangerous.
