Another explosive volume packed with action and revelations! Is it just me, or does the art look sharper than ever? Every aspect of this volume was incredible.

I can’t believe there’s only one more left—and the worst part? I don’t even have it yet. 😭 I can’t wait to wrap up this amazing series!

Everybody’s on deck to try and control the situation but is it still possible?
Kei may be an asshole but he is one stubborn asshole and won’t let go of Sato so easily.
Prof Ogura is running out of cigarettes and explains his theory on Ajins.

The final lap has begun while every possible thing goes haywire.

Sakurai delivers top-notch art and storytelling

It's been a long build and road, but this final arc is good. Almost there.

Only manga can be read as fast as this. If only the story had more meat to it. This part could have been finished in a single volume, not 5.

Extrait :

File 74: Dr. Ogura spots from afar the flood spiralling into the air. He leaves the train station where he was about to depart and walks instead towards the base where the trail is coming from. Whilst walking though he is stopped by a car with a kid in it telling him to enter the vehicle. Separately the IBMs have taken over the base and escaped towards the public, killing everyone in their way. The anti Demi human forces are battling against them along with Nakano, Takana, Izumi and Akiyama.

File 75: Flashback to thousands of years ago in Germany, suggesting the very first Demi human.
Back to current, Nakano and Akiyama are cornered in an alley by IBM’s alongside the anti Demi forces and some of the public. They plan to shoot their way out. Separately, Dr. Ogura explains what a demi human is. That their is the destiny of everything based on the elementary particles of matter which makes everything that exists pre-determined (stuff comes about because of universal structures etc, includes humanness). However he says that something beyond this is capable because we have developed complex emotions that takes the universe by surprise and creates a new force by itself. That is how Demi humans are made (and how anyone can be one). It all depends on the emotion at the time. He also argued that this belief could be seen as absurd because it is also a hope that this defeats the meaningless of life (that we are destined to live and then die) where this belief breaks this destiny; against this “will of the universe”. Separately, Sato appears on the base and jumps on his helicopter, manned by his IBM.

File 76: Nagai runs and jumps onto Sato leaving by helicopter. But whilst they’re both hanging on, they both fall. Nagai bumps his head and gets amnesia. Manabe appears as a sniper and shoots Sato from a long distance, also sending him tumbling down to the ground. Separately, Tanaka and Izumi go in the direction of the flood.

File 77: In Nagai’s amnesia (can’t remember the past few months, same time as a demi human) he manages to realise he is a demi human and works out that he can kill himself to reset and remember again. But by the time he does that Sato has already taken off on his motorbike towards the helicopter. Separately, Dr. Ogura leaves the boy in the car (who picked him up and questioned him on demi humans). He wants to put himself into the mix of the flood. He realises he is on his last cigarette, the sign he is to die.

File 78: Kei Nagai runs towards where he thinks the helicopter is likely to land, which he can outpace Sato on the motorbike by using backstreets (that he knows since it’s his town). Sato drives as fast as possible and goes past Izumi and Tanaka. He shoots down Izumi but Tanaka has an opportunity to take him out with a tranquilliser gun but he bottles it and Sato continues. Separately, Dr Ogura gives himself over to the IBM’s with his final words, “It’s perfect” before being destroyed after his last cigarette.

The police struggle to control the Flood of IBMs and Kei refuses to give up on taking down Sato.

This volume did a clever job of bringing strands of the story together in this next-to-last book. Dr. Ogura reaches his last cigarette! Tanaka has a chance to kill Sato! The anti-demi task force decide to use two people as human shields! The only part I didn't like was Ogura's explanation for how demi-humans came to be. Never try to explain the zombies/supernatural beings/other weird things. It seldom goes well.

Chapter-75: Ikuya Ogura (the scientist) started only having those cigarettes even though he did not like the taste of it, because his 8 year old son bought it to him. 🥲

Ogura says that while dying, when the heart is shaken by a strong emotion, there is a possibility that anyone can become a demi-human.

While trying to catch Sato again, Kei fell from a height and hit his head and lost part of his memory. Then, he shot himself to bring back those memories. Now Kei decides to finally capture Sato.

How long to capture Sato? 😭

This series is so crazy addictive! I feel like the last four volumes have all taken place in the same 24 hours, and still we haven't resolved the Sato issue, but there is so much action and emotion, and so many revelations, that Sato is going to have to wait for the next volume. The flood of IBMs is terrifying, and of course we're left on a cliffhanger. Waiting until the next volume is going to be so hard!

Gokil udah hampir menuju klimaks.

When everything seems lost there is always a set of events that make things happen. It is all in the script and the script is made by elements that get together and create energy. It is based on sound waves.
