If you enjoy Evil Dead or Night of the Living Dead influenced horror, then this book is right up your alley. There is a lot of humor, but it can also be gory at times. This thrilling ride is a great summer read (especially since it takes place at the beach). I don't read enough horror, but I'm glad I read this one because it's enjoyable and rarely a dull moment. As someone who is a huge fan of horror movies (modern, old, cheesy, etc), I can see this on the big screen.
