I really wanted to like this. Sinclair annoyed me, Kaede was really one dimensional and they didn't have much chemistry. Rhen was just there to be vulgar and dump info. I loved that alpha dragons could only ever be intimate with their mates, though. 😁

The Christmas Alphas are hearing up!
In this book, like, literally. Kaede is a cursed dragon shifter loving on a frozen magical plane. He can't speak and can't access his dragon since being cursed and banished. He hopes to be freed from the Frozen wasteland through completing tasks which have been handed out by the mysterious Deciders. his tasks to capture which Sinclair Rose doesn't go exactly how he expected it to but it does go exactly how it is supposed to. It turns out Sinclair Rose is his fated mate and if they can get over the fact that he tried to kidnap and turn her over to the Deciders maybe they can discover an everlasting love. But before then lots of fighting, ghoulish creatures, fire and vampires ensue. They get their hea and the journey makes it more than worthwhile! this is the second story I've read by this author and the past few weeks and imma say I'm definitely a fan technically the story is excellent editing and grammar are on point. she also does a great job of creating characters giving them an interesting backstory and creating a fascinating cast of supporting characters. This is definitely one of the best offerings in the Christmas Alpha's series and I can't wait to read more about this world and these characters!

I fell in love with Sinclair and Kaede. Their struggles and ultimate triumph is amazing. They are very well written and Kaede's naivete when he realizes his captor is his mate is sweet and endearing. I like that Sinclair is bold and independent, but eventually willing to trust herself and her mate when her best friend needed them. Talk about a power couple! This story is hot from beginning to end! (Pun intended) I look forward to reading more about these two!

Kaede Oshiro was wrongfully banished to the Frostlands by his evil cousin and mate, who took away his ability to speak unless he found his mate. He could not even talk to defend himself and he was banished as a traitor. His only way to get back home to the Mortal Plane to get revenge on his cousin and mate was to do one hundred jobs for the Deciders or so he thought. He'd done sixty jobs for them and only needed forty more for his freedom. His last job was to kidnap a fire witch he'd been casing. The tables were turned on him when the captor became the captive that managed to awaken his sleeping dragon, who insisted that Sinclaire Rose was their mate. He had to convince her that they were mates. She did not trust him at all, but she finally understood that mates can not harm each other. Kaede vowed to protect her and love her even if she did not. She was mortal and did it feel the same intense mating heat like he did as an alpha dragon. After a series of events in protecting her and burning down everything she had, she slowly started changing her mind about her mate, especially after they, together, helped to heal her friend's mate. They worked perfectly together as they were both fire beings.
This book left me wanting more. I hate HFN endings. They are just as bad as cliffhangers. Even though this is a Christmas story where Kaede tried his best to give his new mate a good Christmas, I feel cheated. There was too much left unresolved. I guess we will find out who Rhen's mate is in the next book and what the Deciders will do next.

Having non-black characters using AAVE...can we not in 2020 and in years to come? Don't get me wrong, the writing is engaging, and the mythology is interesting, but some characters start to sound exactly the same. More depth and nuance needs to be added, because honestly, SA's characters are just carbon copies of one another. You can get away with that in a couple of books, but after that, it becomes boring and repetitive.
As far as this story goes, it was okay. Another wash, rinse, repeat of previous novels where the guy falls hard and fast for his mate, while the mate is hot and cold, refuses to be mated, but eventually comes around after having a lot of conversations that goes in circles. And the Christmas bits were thrown in as an afterthought, because honestly I forgot this was supposed to be a holiday novel. In the middle, the story lost steam and I skimmed a little. What else can I say? If you're familiar with this writer you know what to expect. If you're brand new, you'll probably enjoy it for the simple frills it gives.

This book was HILARIOUS from beginning to end! Do you hear me?! I love Kaede and Sinclair, Rhen and his “hold no bars” mouth had me GUFFAWING. And I don’t guffaw. Rhen was something else! That convo with Silvia left me weak. Do you hear me? Weak!!!
I loved the chemistry between Sinclair and Kaede. It leapt off the pages and my nose blew smoke. Maybe I too have a dormant dragon within me. Who knows? I got all the feels when they were together in one spot. I was surprised they didn’t spontaneously combust with all that sizzling 🥵 Whew! Talk about HAWT!!!
This book does not end on a cliffhanger, in the traditional sense because they do get their HEA, but, you have to read the rest of the series to see how their story continues. The author also warns that it would be like that, so it wasn’t a sneak move.
About to grab the rest of the books in this series as we speak. Anxious to find out who Rhen’s mate is. Though I have a sneaking suspicion.

2.00 Stars. (BW/AM). Kindle Edition e-book. Kaede Oshiro the hero of this paranormal story is a dragon shifter wrongly exiled from the Mortal Realm to the Frostlands. Kaede must not speak and must complete a hundred tasks, his first is to capture and return to the council of Deciders, the heroine, Sinclair Rose. Sinclair is a powerful witch with potent blood capable of sustaining a large crew of men, creating euphoric a state and causing blood lust; however, Sinclair flips the switch on Kaede and captures him. During the course of Kaede's captivity, he discovers that Sinclair is his life mate. Their interaction and struggle ensues...Sinclair is annoying, they get back to the mortal realm and Kaede is able to shift to his human body and take over as Alpha of his pack of dragons; nevertheless there is nothing romantic about Kaede and Sinclair as a couple. The story is not interesting and to keep from DNF'ing the story, I skimmed the duller parts which is a lot of the book.

Silent Knight
Siren Allen has done it again. She takes a story and creates a world where you the reader are taking a front row seat into the lives of the characters created. You become caught up with their story that you don't want it to end. I love shifter storylines and this one is my new favorite. The hero and heroin were well-written and developed. The supporting characters were well-written as well. I can't wait for the next book. Nor can I wait to see if Msg. Allen returns to this plane so that we get to revisit the other characters. I hope that this becomes a new series like her villain series.

This was a really good shifter interracial Christmas romance novel! Siren usually doesn't disappoint and the story of Sin and Kaede did not disappoint. Lots of fire (literally) and magic (literally) covers each page of this steamy and enchanting tale of a dragon falling for a witch who happens to love Christmas. I recommend it. I'm pretty confident you will enjoy this as much as I did. Great read!

Ok, this was awesome, I didn’t know it was a cliffhanger. Still loved it. The beautiful part it came out last year which makes it a fabulous read for me, I have all 3 parts, I don’t know if it’s more after the 3 one haven’t read that one yet.
I’m sure Kaede was surprise when he encounter Sinclair. I love her badas$ attitude, this was so good, I finished now started on the 2nd one.

Not great
I liked the story in the beginning but it got tiresome quick. Some fated mates stories are very good but some use it as a trope not to develope a love story between the the two leads. The idea that readers don't get a love story but instead a series of events is flawed & boring. The witch wasn't likable at all & the cop out of having her unconscious the majority of the book, again to avoid them having an actual romance. That was disappointing.

Sin and Kaede are a dream combination. An independent witch that can hold her own and a sexy virgin who infuriates her but instinctively knows how to make her cum. The only negative comment I have is that I thought he could not speak unless he was touching her but that got lost halfway in the story. Oh and I'm looking forward to the vampire's story.

A great book!
This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. The drama the action and romance was off the charts. I could not put it down, the action was intense. The characters were so interesting that you wanted to find out more about them. You do not want the story to end. I cannot wait to find out what happens with Kaeda and Sin.

I hate cliffhangers
With that being said I really liked this book; however had I known it was a cliffhanger. In would have waited for the other book or books to be released before making my purchase. So, if you dnt like cliffhanger dnt purchase this book yet...wait until the others are released. Anywho, I do recommend this book.

Not worth the read
Sinclair is annoying as hell. She hot and cold.
Also not bright as she believes.
Sadly this is the 8th book but it seems no progress is made with this "plane" they are on. Unless earlier books mention TD.
The story is rushed within a week's time frame but no mention of TD sending anyone. If he doesn't a complete task in 2 or 3 days they will come.

I Usually don't read about witch stories but..
This story had me pulled in from the moment Kaede was introduced. From the start I was rooting for him and his mate, Sinclair. All the aspects of mystery, magic, love, and hate are in this story. I look forward to the next one and to know about Rhen and his mate, whom I think I know. Have fun reading this tale.

Thank you for writing not only a interracial love story, but also a bbw love story. Even though this is fictional, it feels good to read about a BBW interracial love story. Love it!!! Love it!!! Rated 4.7 this is a great paranormal holiday read. There is more to the story folks. Sin and Kaede’s story doesn't end here. Favorite part of this book is the running dialogue Sin is having with herself.

A great novella. Perfectly sweet and alluring.
I have looking for books with a diverse character set for along time and Her silent knight was the perfect beginner into this subset. A great quick cute paranormal romance. It had all the elements, magic, love, sex and fantasy.

All out great story
This is a beautiful fated mate story add on top of the comedy aspect and I couldn’t put it down. I laughed so much reading this my husband started giving me the side eye. Lol totally worth reading. Thank you author you are truly blessed!!

Whew, that was HOT
I can not tell you how much I loved this book. Sin and the Dragon were hot as fire together. Yummy and delicious. This paranormal romance had all the "things" and was very entertaining. Love, love, love the beginning of this series. On to book #2...
