The premise for the story was interesting and I had high hopes. The first few pages grabbed my imagination and made me want to read on... I should have stopped there.
By about 50% I was thinking I'd picked up a young teen fiction book by mistake. The way it's written seems to hark back to the morals of a bygone era; chaperoned visits, talk of marriage before even the first proper date etc.
The characters did little for me, the girls were rather too good to be true. Their instant fame was all completely implausible. The rockstars were also rather too good to be true, besides having a smoking habit and being blind to the behaviour of their 'girlfriends' that is. I kept reading thinking that somehow the story would develop, along with it the characters and their relationships, but it didn't really go anywhere.
The whole story is rather preposterous. Not one I'd recommend.
I was waiting for this to get more involved between the two characters. It never happened. Very disappointed that I had to read it to the end. Nothing really happened. If you like a kiss here and there and to a man who taste like a dirty ashtray then this book is for you.
A hot mess. "Rockstar?" No. More like "If Lawrence Welk was a Boy Band." Rock bands do not have back-up dancers. Rock bands and their managers don't have people sign a NDA and then suggest they do do a tell-all on a talk show.
The characters are unappealing; the writing is juvenile, and the plot is non-existent.
I was hopeful this was going to be a good book since I haven’t read a rock star romance in a while. Unfortunately there really wasn’t much of a story of the rock star. It was more about Tracy and Tiffany. There was never any depth to the characters in my opinion. Unfortunately I won’t be reading the rest of the series.
There is limited time with them as a couple. But it’s cute how he is when there is. It’s entertaining but ends abruptly. I guess we are supposed to believe they have a happy ending? It’s good enough that I will read the next book.
