Same story different names, just once I'd like to read a 2nd chance that doesn't end up w the h being a complete jacka$$, not seeing the h for yrs than bam a cocky smile and shes freaking in bed the guy. I mean really the guy has done nothing to redeem himself but smile and some sweet talk and alls golden yeah right. The story was written fine,I just want to see something that makes me not want to throw my kindle.
This was a good read. Noah was Maggie's brothers best friend. They grew up together and even dated in high school. Noah didn't handle things well. Now years later Maggie is back in town. They give it a second chance. Due to some trust issues things almost don't work out. Thankfully in the end they get their happy ending.
I love Ali Parker and she never disappoints. Maggie and Noah had a rough road but shared a connection that just wouldn't be denied. Sometimes a second chance isn't enough and a hard headed couple needs a third chance! Della and Lydia were adorable and I hope to see Jordan's story. That said, I really wanted to give this five stars but couldn't just for reasons of personal preference. Possible Spoiler While I dont mind knowing that the H is a confirmed bachelor that prefers one night stands, it was hard for me to really sympathize or connect with the H when the first scene is of him leaving a hotel room after a weekend of debauchery with twins. For some reason that just killed my respect for him right at the start. Man wh*re is one thing. Threesomes, okay. But twins, siblings, or any family relation is just a no go for me. Again, that's just personal preference. Overall this was a good read with just the right amount of angst. Enjoy!

When The Past Collides With A Hopeful Future 💥♥🔥💥♥🔥

Maggie went to New York with dreams of becoming a clothing designer and starting her own business. Now she is returning home a single mom unable to fulfill her dreams. Working for Addie at her dry cleaner, she accidentally ruined an expensive suit with bleach. When she comes face to face with the owner of the suit it it's none other than her brother's best friend and her first love Noah Simms, who shattered her heart. Their first coffee date does not go well at all and Maggie doesn't know this self centered Noah at all. Noah is so used to women only wanting him for his money that Her only shows his true self to his family. Getting reacquainted is challenging at best because their past influences their present and both are scared to broach the past. When Noah catches part of a conversation between Maggie and her best friend Angela he is shattered and ghosts Make without getting the truth. Maggie is done with Noah now that their past repeats itself and she has more than herself to worry about, her daughter Lydia. When Noah gets the full story of the conversation will be get another second chance with the woman he loves and the family he wants??? A great storyline of a second chance with a little twist and how people handle grief differently. Character that fit like pieces of a puzzle once they acknowledged how to line things up correctly. I love how Ali Parker have the children their own personalities and made them important pieces of the puzzle. A definite MUST READ!!! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and purchased a copy for my favorites collection. Here's hoping for a story for Jordan, Della (Jordan's daughter) and Angela.
This is the latest love story by the wonderful best selling author Ali Parker that will leave you craving for more. It is all about young love, they first meet in kindergarten, to high school [where she is in 'love' with him and he doesn't realise that he'loves' her too] before he ups and offs to college without a backward glance in the mirror to see her. Noah is Maggie's older brother's best friend and she has loved him most of her 27 year old life. She longed for him when he left for college and made his fortune but he never even returned for her brother's funeral which broke her. When she comes back home from New York, now a single mum of a lovely little girl, with her fashion dreams in tatters she runs into Noah and he now appears to 'see' her really for the first time in their lives and he can't get enough. Noah is gorgeous and determined to make Maggie happy and , hopefully, return his love. But can she trust him?he has a considerable amount to prove and it was certainly fun reading about his relentless wooing of her. A delightfully romantic read. Yes, there were some very sad moments but we all have them. That helps make this realistic which Ali is renowned for. I enjoyed this very much and if you love romance, good writing and a real page turner then this is the book for you! I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here for you. Most Definitely Recommended.
I really wanted to like this book. However, I was immediately thrown off by the intro. Noah's conference weekend really was not the way I wanted to see the male hero spending his time. Twins? Really? OMG He is one of the most unlikeable characters, immature and arrogant and self centered. I can understand that because he had too many failures or many women tried to cage them because of his wealth but does he really have to be a manwh0re?? I never get these extremes. The fact that he left for college without an explanation or that he missed his best friends funeral or that he didnt bother to keep up with Maggie for 13 years speak a lot of his character's depth.... Thanks to his brother he realizes his wrong way of thinking but it was all too fast. His brother was a far more likeable and down to earth character. Maggie would have also been more likeable, if she didn't forgive him soo easily. Love might last forever but what about when the actions speak so poorly of one's character? I didn't mind the fact she initiated the first move, but I would have preferred if this was purely driven on lust and stayed there. She should have stayed on this phase (pure lust, no feelings) for longer, so that he would have a taste of his own medicine.
Could have potential but like I said, even the intro threw me off.
Billionaire engineer Noah Simms loves his playboy lifestyle. He runs into his first love and best friend's little sister, Maggie dreamed of going to New York City and owning her own fashion design business. Maggie returns home to Spokane as a single mom with no job and no husband. Maggie is working at Addie's dry cleaner where she ruins an expensive suit with bleach and comes face to face with the owner, Noah, the man who broke her heart years ago. Getting reacquainted proves challenging because their past clouds the present. When Noah overhears part of a conversation between Maggie and her best friend, Noah is hurt and ghosts Maggie. With history repeating itself, Maggie is done with Noah. Will Noah get a second chance with Maggie when he learns the truth about the conversation he overheard? Can Maggie and Noah learn to trust each other and overcome issues from their past? Can Noah and Maggie get their happily ever after? I really liked Falling For Him by Ali Parker. Great book with amazing characters who must learn to trust one another again with past hurts standing in their way. I would definitely recommend getting Falling For Him by Ali Parker. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
What a phenomenal second chance romance story with so much heart, emotion, and insecurities that the characters must overcome in order to find their happily ever after. Noah is a billionaire playboy with a passion for giving back, but who is unable to find a good honest woman not after him for his money. Maggie is a struggling single mom who has always dreamed of becoming a designer. When these two long lost lovers and friends reunite, sparks fly and an attraction long since buried resurfaces. Unfortunately so does the heartache and doubts they were each plagued with and continue to be plagued with. Can Maggie and Noah move past the insecurities and heartache they have lived with in order to find their own happily ever after? Falling for Him is a new captivating and sweet must read from Ali Parker that readers will fall in love with; between the fantastic story line and its wonderful characters. I loved this new book so much, I lost sleep because of it. If you love second chance romances between a single mom and a playboy billionaire with a heart of gold then pick up a copy of Falling for Him today. You won't be disappointed. "I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this novel."
I really enjoyed this book. When Noah and Maggie first meet, they were in Kindergarten. When they were 14 ad 17, in high school, she was in love with him and even though he didn’t know it, he was in love with her. He went off to college leaving her behind without so much as a “see you later”. He just left. She went to college and went to New York (from Spokane, WA), to pursue a career in fashion design. He became an engineer whose invention would catapult him to billionaire status. After 13 years from the date Noah left her without a word, Maggie comes back to Spokane. She was not successful in her career choice, and she became a single mother. With no money, no job and no husband she has no choice but to go home. These two reconnect but Maggie is afraid to fall for him because she doesn’t trust him not to run away again. The story is about their lives now and their feelings, and trust issues (on both their parts). Mrs. Parker does a wonderful job of expanding these characters and showing us how you need to trust to truly love again. Wonderfully well-written. You can’t beat a small town, long-time friends and families who support Noah and Maggie to the end. This a feel-good story.
Sweet and spicy; these are the two words that I think best describe this story. Either that or ‘love’ and ‘hate’. Noah and Maggie feel them for each other, and I was feeling them towards our leading couple. It may be a bit of a cop-out to use the line, but it’s where my mind has gone: when they were good, they were very very good, but when they were bad, they were horrid. Maggie and Noah together were a beautiful sight to behold. Sweet and loving and reaffirming my belief in second chances. When they weren’t together, I wanted to take the pair of them and smack their heads together because all it would have taken was one adult conversation to clear up everything that was going wrong. It’s become a pet peeve of mine when the romantic leads fall apart because they can’t work up enough nerve to talk to one another. Mind you, they do finally talk and that leads into one of the cutest, sappiest endings I’ve read in a while. Now I’m looking forward to more stories about their extended “families”. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Noah and Maggie are destined to be together. It is written in the stars. Noah and Maggie were in love in high school, but when Noah left for college he totally dropped out of her life taking her heart with him. It’s 13 years later and Maggie has moved back in with her mother. She still has a dream of being a clothes designer, but becoming pregnant at age 23 put that on hold. Noah and Maggie don’t exactly pick up where they left off but at least they’re speaking to each other. Noah is now a billionaire and thinks women are only with him for his money. Can Maggie forgive Noah for breaking her heart? Does Noah have any feelings for her at all? Noah loves her but can he trust her? All other women have left him cold, only wanting his money, and Maggie seems to be the most sincere woman he has ever had in his life. Will a thoughtless remark keep them apart? What a wonderful book.
Noah and Maggie are having a second chance at romance. Maggie moved back home to Spokane with her daughter Lydia. Maggie first run in with Noah, when she ruined his business suit with bleach by accident. Maggie wanted to replace the suit however Noah would not accept anything from her. Several weeks have past and Noah needed a date for a gala, where he ask Maggie. This was part of the Commerce Club which is for rich men in business. Maggie does accepts his invitation to the gala however Maggie soon realized that the wives that were there mostly concerned about the money that their husbands made. However, Noah still was taking chances of making Maggie the love of his life. Enjoyed reading this story. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC for my honest review.
Maggie and Noah met in elementary school when Noah was her brothers best friend. During their high school years they dated each loving the other but never telling one another. Noah leaves for college without saying a work no goodbye or anything and Maggie is heartbroken. Maggie moves to New York after college to follow her career in fashion and becomes a single mother. Noah becomes an engineer who design ends up making him a billionaire. 13 years later Maggie has no other choice but to move back to Spokane. As fate has it Noah and Maggie run into one another. Will they rekindle what they once had? Ali brings us a great story once again that will draw you in and hold your attention to the end.
Maggie, a single mom, returns to her hometown where she runs into Noah, billionaire engineer and her first love, at the dry cleaners she just started working at. As the story progresses their pasts meets the present, waves are created for them to surf, and wading through the past is the only way they will not drown in the future. Ali Parker’s Falling for Him let’s the reader jump off a cliff and free fall into a tumultuous relationship. I would love to see Jordan and Angela get together after reading this.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Another amazing book by Ali Parker. This second chance (and second, second chance during the book!) Maggie and Noah were in love as teens, but misconceptions and foolish acts break that love. Fast forward 13 years and neither are the same and both have grown. Maggie has Lydia and Noah has his billion dollar company. When fate crosses their path things don’t go smoothly. Misunderstandings and old feelings get in the way but you won’t be disappointed, Ali delivers a spectacular HEA for Maggie and Noah (Noah includes Lydia which will have you melting into a pile of gooey feelings) Read through Kindle Unlimited
Maggie and Noah - is a sweet second chance love story. The pair originally were a high school sweethearts when Maggie was 14 and Noah was 17, however, Noah leaves Maggie behind and without so much as an explanation.
Her love unrequited, Maggie moves on with her life, but as a single mother of a five-year old daughter, she move back home and into her mother’s home for help.
Noah now a billionaire has all the women and fun he could want. However, one look at Maggie and all his old feelings return. He won’t stop at anything until Maggie is his again!
I received an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review
Noah and Maggie have known each other since childhood and her brother's best friend then things go wrong but not in a good way. When they meet 13 years later there chemistry and connection is still as strong. Will this be there second chance or has there been too much water under the bridge. I love this book so much with it's twists and turns and not knowing what will happen next. Ali is an amazing author and talented writer and I love her books so much. I definitely recommend you read this book and you will not be disappointed. I Voluntarily Reviewed an ARC Copy Of This Amazing Book.
You know what they say about baseball, three strikes and you're out. But in romance, the third times the charm when it comes to Maggie and Noah. A beautiful romance between two people who were destined to be together but fate kept throwing curveballs. Plenty of drama, lots of angst, trust issues galore and broken hearts. The two Noahs, 'full conference' Noah or sweet, kind Noah. A page-turner that's hard to put down once you begin. Well written with lots of twists, some surprises, and emotion galore. The chemistry and pull between Noah and Maggie was explosive and they were definitely soul mates. A beautiful HEA. I read an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
Maggie grew up with Noah.. He was her brother's best friend from the time she was 3 years old. When they were in high school they started dating but Noah couldn't hold her back, he was leaving for college and she was still in high school.. He wanted her to experience life so he left her one night without a look back.. Now years later Maggie comes back home and those feelings are all there but she now has a little girl to think about and she can't let Noah break her heart again. Noah never stopped caring about Maggie but will she give him a 2nd chance?
Finally a second chance! Maggie and Noah met in elementary school where he was her brother’s best friend. He went away to college and didn’t return until years later. She had also left going to college and then to New York to pursue a career in fashion design. Returning to Spokane with her daughter, the two reconnect; however, things do not go smoothly. The characters come to life, and you’ll be drawn into their story by Ms. Parker's talented writing. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Another great read by Ali Parker. This is a sweet second chance romance with strong, well developed characters and an interesting story line. The author brings tons of drama and emotion. and takes them through heartbreak and pain along with a few obstacles along the way. She brings it to life with her descriptive writing and detailed scenes. It moves at a steady pace and had me hoping for a happy ending for them. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.

5 stars I received a free copy of the novel FALLING FOR HIM: Single Mom and Billionaire Romance by Ali Parker and this review was given freely. Noah finds love, inner peace and balance when his childhood best friend's younger sister and Noah's first love, clothing designer hopeful Maggie, moves back to town with her daughter. This is a steamy and rocky reformation of a sensitive, but at times self centered, bad boy billionaire romance with wonderful caring families who are down to earth despite loss of loved ones and Noah trying to spend his money to "make their lives easier".
Noah and Maggie have know each other since they were young as he was her older brothers best friend. He was also her first crush and heart ache when he left for college and never said goodbye. She went to college and then returned to town. He never even came to her brothers funeral when he died. Now after thirteen years away he returns to town and acts like everything should be good between them. Should she forgive him and give him a second chance or move on? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Noah and Maggie had known each other forever - Noah was her brother's best friend. Maggie was secretly in love with Noah and when he leaves for college without a word, she is heartbroken. She goes to New York to pursue her dreams and years later, returns home as a single mother, with no job and no money. When she and Noah meet up again, the sparks fly. Falling For Him is a wonderfully developed story about second chances, about learning to trust, about believing in yourself and ultimately a beautiful HEA. I received an advanced readers copy of this book and highly recommend it.
Noah and Maggie were both untrusting of each. Noah because women only wanted him for his money. Maggie was due to Noah breaking her heart in the past. Maggie's daughter came first even before her dream of being a clothes design. Noah wanted to take care of his family financially but they didn't want any part of his money. He over heard a conversation Maggie was having with her boss talking about the people she met at function he took her to, all the women talked about was money from their husbands. Noah overheard only part of the conversation and assumed she was talking about his money.
Single parent Maggie Hampton left NYC and head back to Washington State to her childhood home. She never expected to run into her childhood crush who left her brokenhearted so many years ago when he left for college. Can these two revisit and claim the love they once secretly shared. Second chance at love leads to misunderstandings, rejection, heartache but in the end HEA. This book will leave you with tears and cheers. Well written by Ali Parker.
This was such an amazing story. Second chance romance mixed with some brothers best friend, what more can anyone ask for? I’ve said it so many times before, but this author is truly talented when it comes to writing. Her way of telling a story is absolutely fantastic and you can’t help but get swept up in the love that she writes about. I’m really hoping that Jordan and Angie will end up with a story of their own now!
