I want my readers to escape their realities and embark on a journey of self-exploration and love when they delve into my books. I have loved reading fiction, thrillers, and romance for years. Although my original (and still) writing interest was YA and self-help books, I received a surprise text one Valentine's Day, and wrote the very first chapter of a romance novel that day. And I became forever inspired to write contemporary and new adult romance - with a twist.

Please take a ride with me, Tiye Love and hold on to your hearts! I invite you to check out my website and join my newsletter at www.tiyelovebooks.com, and follow me on FB @Tiye Love Books, and/or on my IG @tiye28always...

It was a cute novella. I'll definitely get into part 2 when I have the time. The only resonating thought that won't reveal the plot is why do couples who aren't married have joint accounts? I mean, if you live with your partner then I see have a joint account for bills only, but not where the bulk of your income goes.

What chemistry???

For a short there was no yearning for each other. I didn’t feel the undeniable love. All they kept doing was having sex. That will get old where was the connection. We not gone get on those weak sex scenes. “ I massaged his thick maleness as my lips closed around his hard nipple.” 🥴

Good, quick read

For this to be your first ever story, you did an excellent job. I loved the chemistry between Jordan and Skye. I just loved the overall good, hopeful, romantic feeling of this novella. Great job!

Jordan Jordan Jordan

I need a Jordan in my life. The best way to get over a man is to find a new one. Skye did just that. She met her celebrity crush Jordan Matthews. Jordan sure did help her get over her ex. Very good book.

Escape

Although this was a novella it birthed a whirlwind of emotions and packed a powerful punch. Skye took a much needed break after leaving her cheating fiancé and focusing on self. She meets Jordan her celebrity crush who is an actor. It seems as though Jordan plans to experience this escape with Skye as he ended up in the same hotel room a place he goes to regroup before new roles. Instead of a one night stand we get a one week stand where the expectations are laid out plainly and repeatedly by Jordan. He doesn’t do relationships and it almost seems as if he is only able to be so charming, giving, and loving because he knows there is an end date. I worried for Skye because I already felt she was vulnerable and prone to fall in love with this being her crush and all. Jordan angered me with his honesty because it seemed like a red flag. So during this whirlwind one week stand we see all the emotions of falling in love, steamy sex, flirting, courting, jealousy, and anger. Will Skye end up hurt? Will Jordan change his stance on relationships? These were my prevailing thoughts as read the novella. Great read!

This was short and sweet and gives you pretty women vibes but she is not a prostitute or down on hard times to be clear. Just a woman how sets out for LA after a bad breakup and needs to get away. However what she finds is an escape of a lifetime into the warmth of her celebrity crush who is just in awe with her as she is him. Sky and Jordan are literally two people who look to be given a little under a week to enjoy each other’s company with no strings attached. As always that how the plan starts but they both slowly find it’s more to it then either thought it would or could be. But fall hard and still try and stand their ground. I loved that they were just people and neither needed the other but literally want to just be with each other. The way it ends makes you smile and I I’m really looking forward to what’s in store!!

Four Days & Counting

Oh wow 🤩, that was an intense & transformative four days and counting! “The Escape (A Novella) ( The Escape Trilogy - Book 1) was a good read. However, for obvious reasons I loathed Ray😠🤬! And Mr. Jordan Matthew arrogance grated on my nerves 😬! He was a piece of work the entire novella …with a last second redeeming quality, a pliable heart. Nonetheless, Skye Baptiste be on full alert with Mr. Matthew, he an entertainer. Performances, role play, characters are all his craft, livelihood and cash cow. I don’t trust his sincerity (yet). He has gentleman qualities however he has the potential to interject a 180. We’ll see…👀. One down two still remains.

What a week!

My second time reading this ultimate fantasy come to life story of When Skye Baptiste met Jordan Mathews! These two had amazing chemistry at first introduction. But what started as getaway from reality mixed with some serious heat, ended up being so much more than either of them bargain for...at least for now. I'll take the HEA and enjoy it while I can. On to The Obsession!

Good Novella

Skye and Jordan's story was a good and quick weekend read. Skye went to LA to find herself after being with a habitual cheater for years and met her celebrity crush on the first day. They spent a week together and got to know each other. I believe you will really love the novella.

Good Novella

I enjoyed reading this short, sexy novella about Jordan and Skye finds love unexpectedly while spending time together while she's on her heart healing trip. Jordan is a superstar actor and Skye is just an everyday woman from New Orleans but their chemistry drew them closer together and falling in love.

😍😍😍😍😍

I do not know how I missed this one by Tiye Love, her male characters are the bomb, they just make you fall head over heels for them. This ended so much better than I thought it would. Skye and Jordan’s story was definitely a fairytale and a dream come true. I would have pinched myself several times and still would have not believed it was true. Great read!

This series was absolutely positively amazing. It was so good it had my anxiety to Pikes Peak proportions. It was sexy and nail biting and angsty and nail biting and worth ALL my time.

I recommend this trilogy y’all, if for nothing else then for the intros, I was so tickled. You’ll enjoy, I promise 😉.

Skye stresses me out

This was a good book but Skye stressed me out. She drove me crazy to the point I almost didn’t finish reading the book but I had to bc I know Tiye was going to get her together (at least I hope so). She was so worried about a relationship that she was going to miss out on a man that truly cared for her.

They didn't expect love

Skye's getaway went from a broken hearted retreat while trying to reevaluate her life, to meeting Jordan. He was everything she wanted and needed, but was she enough for him.

Loved It

A great beginning to the trilogy. Great storyline, with character chemistry off the charts. There is some emotional baggage, can’t wait to see how it’s unpacked. Ready for the second installment.

I loved this book. Jordan and Skye jumped off the pages from the time they met in a restaurant. Their chemistry was off the charts and I can’t wait to see how their journey ends. Congratulations Tiye Love on another great story.

The Escape is a quick, charming intro to Skye and Jordan’s story. Skye meets her celebrity crush, they click instantly, and he treats her with a level of care she has never experienced. Her feelings make sense, and the real surprise is that Jordan feels the same. I laughed, smiled, and felt for Skye, especially after everything with her grimy ex Ray. She deserved this win. I enjoyed this story and would love more of Skye and Jordan.
