A second chance with your soulmate

His Curvy Soulmate is a great second chance short story by Sara Hazel. The story is about Sophia and Max. They meet one night when she is at a party thrown by her best friend Samantha while they are in college. Max is Samantha's older brother and just returning from the Army after serving overseas. Sophia is having a bad evening as she has been told that she would look cute is she lost some weight by a meathead at the party. Max and Sophia talk about many things and even share a kiss but nothing else happens. Now it is several years later and they cross paths again. Only this time things will turn out very different for them both.
I really enjoyed this fast-paced quick read and would recommend it to anyone who likes a sweet and emotional short story that also has some heat.

Sophia is a beautiful curvy girl she’s at her best friends Samantha’s party while she’s kissing her boyfriend she asks Sophia if she will keep her eyes out for her brother Max in case he comes home so Sophia was given lookout duties and she was fine with that but she didn’t know what Max looked like so she went and had a look at the family photos. There was a photo of Max he was a teenager tall and lanky and wearing thick glasses but he’s supposed to look a lot different because he’s been in the army for 8 years. While standing near the kitchen a jock comes up to Sophia and tells her to get out the way then he said that if she lost weight and had her hair done she would look cute and that really upset Sophia so she went outside and started to cry. Suddenly there was a tall well built man was standing at the front door Sophia said who are you and he said I’m Max, gone is the lankiness and thick glasses and what’s standing there is a gorgeous specimen of a man. Max calls Sophia beautiful and then they end up kissing it stuns Sophia and Max said that he wished he could of done more with her then Max went inside and Sophia went home. Max would love to ask Sophia out but he doesn’t want to break her heart when he leaves to go to Alaska to work so it’s best that nothing happens. 4 years later Max has worked his butt off he’s saved every penny he could so he can start his own security company back in Chicago, he’s never forgotten Sophia his perfect woman he’s not forgotten that kiss either and he wants to make Sophia his but he finds out that she has a boyfriend. Fantastic short story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second chance romance between Max and Sophia. They met one night at a party Max's sister was having and asked Sophia to watch out for MAx to come home. Sophia was best friends with Max's sister and was very shy and insecure. When she met Max, she was surprised at how she was so attracted to him. Max told Sophia he thought she was beautiful and he kissed her. The next day Max left town and Sophia returned to college. Four years later, Sophia is back in Chicago and Max is returning to open a new security business and Sophia picks him up at the airport. There is still an attraction between them and when Max asks is Sophia is single, she tells him about her boyfriend from California who treats her badly and she really doesn't want to be with him. Sophia breaks up with her boyfriend and wants to be with Max. They begin seeing each other and things go well until he ex show up. I enjoyed this story about soulmates. Max and Sophia were soulmates and loved each other at first sight, but their journey to happiness wasn't easy. I liked Max and think he was a great guy who really loved Sophia. Good one.

Max and Sophia met when he came home from the serve to find his sister having a party while their parents were away. He took Sophia up to the porch swing to talk and they ended up kissing. However that's all they did Max left town the next day and Sophia went back to college. Now years later Max is back and he asks his sister about Sophia the girl he has never forgotten. To his surprise Sophia is moving back to town too and his sister sends him to pick her up. Sophia is stunned to see Max but really happy. They reconnect on the ride to her place and make some plans. Now that they are back in the same place Max isn't about let a second chance with her go. Just when things are going great between them her ex shows up causing some trouble. Will her ex split them up? Will Max finally claim his woman?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Max and Sophia. She's a heavier girl and is very shy. While attending her friends party she meets Max, her friend's older brother. There is an instant a connection but due to the she difference and being Samantha's brother, they share just a kiss. Now four years later and they are both back in town. Unfortunately she's been dating a jerk back in California. When Samantha asks her to pick him up at the airport they hit it is again. She breaks up with Jason and gives into temptation. Unfortunately Jason promises to ruin her life. Great HEA with lots of passion.

Sophia has always thought her besties brother was hot. Max was back from the military. When he spots a beautiful woman, he is drawn to her. But he already knows he will not be home for long. One kiss is all the memory they both have for four years. When they meet again, it is a second chance. This is a cute story. Sophia tells Max that it was always him and he gave her the encouragement she needed. Max never forgot her and was so glad for the second chance. Of course, nothing is easy. She has an ex that won’t go away. Things take a terrible turn. I was surprised. There are a few sad moments but these two are able to hold on. Soulmates in more ways than one.

I loved the story. Sophia is curvy and self conscious but when she meets her best friend's brother Max he let's her know just how gorgeous she is. Max hasn't been home for a while and when he meets Sophia he knows that it is not the right time to start a relatiinship. Max knows that Sophia is is soul mate but can he get her to see the beauty in herself?

The characters were great. I loved the story line.

Loved this story! Sophia is a curvy girl and best friends with Samantha. At Sam's party she meets Max, Sam's brother home from the military. He instantly feels a connection and kisses her. But they're both on different paths and don't reconnect for 4yrs. At that point, he knows she's it for him and he's determined to win her. She's got an abusive boyfriend who beats her, cheats on her, and verbally tears her apart. Once she reconnects with Max, she dumps Jason. Like the drama and the ending.

Wow...This book is Hot, Sexy, and Romantic. It is a fast pace steamy romance with lots of chemistry between Sophia and Max (soulmates). It is well written, well-developed, and emotionally deep with drama, violence, life and death dream state experience; it is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat! A recommended read!

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Sophia is a beautiful curvy women that was put down by many people saying she is too big. Max comes home from the military and he see Sophia and tells her she is beautiful they share a kiss then she goes home .four years later they catch up instant love.

What a wonderful, fast paced story about Sophie and Max who meet. Little realising that they are soulmates. Nothing could prepare them for meeting the other but are they ever so delighted that they did. Great characters and such an easy reading style that made this a real page turner. Sarah Hazel is one of those authors that keeps you coming back for more and more of her stories. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Good Novella!

I think this is the first time where I have cried in one of Ms. Hazel's stories. This particular story was more than light and bright and touched on some serious issues that face single women and another set of issues raised regarding violence within a family. There indeed was a lot more depth to this tale. Yes, there was still the over-the-top, insta-love situation but there was there was also an element of mysticism involved. Good Novella!

Such a weird book

This story feels extremely choppy and weird. The flow is awkward, the intimate scenes are very overblown, and the character development is lacking. I have read other Sara Hazel stories and this literally doesn’t even sound like it’s by the same author. The only reason I didn’t give it one star is because it’s fairly well edited grammar wise. I’m rather disappointed in it.

A fantastic story

This was a wonderful sweet story that I really loved. The characters draw you I from the very beginning. The characters are well written and are very likeable. They both have great chemistry between them. This is a wonderful sweet story that I would definitely recommend.

Soulmates are real

I chose this rating because I have read all her other books but this one truly touched my heart. Love really does transcend time and space, if you believe in God, nothing is impossible. The meeting in the forest is the best writing I have read in a long time. Keep believing in soulmates because they really do exist. Love this book!!!!

This novel had a lot of up and down moments for me. One moment,  I was completely sure I wouldn't keep reading it,  the next I couldn't seem to put it down because I wanted to know what happened. In the end,  I'm glad I stuck with it and finished it out.

I wish I hadn’t had to read this while at work. All the interruptions ruined the depth of this uber short story. Oh well. It was nice enough. While it is short on story details it was sweetly written. And I was happy for the HEA.
