What. A. Cute. Story! I loved this book from the first three words I read to the very end. Well, maybe not the part about Ariana, which made my mouth drop open, lol. But the rest I loved. The characters are sweet and I love their chemistry. A must-read for the holidays!

This was a million times better than I would've ever expected. I've never read a book by Tricia Wentworth, but I feel like I should read every single one now! I got a free Kindle version off of some free book website, and I assumed it would be cheesy and fine. I've never been happier to be wrong.
This is the perfect amount of Hallmark movie romance and just plain old romance. The connection between Beckett and Jordyn was palpable from the beginning. The plot was juicy as all get out. I mean, a big city girl goes to small town Nebraska to convince former pro football player to be in Super Bowl commercial by seducing him is genius. And while parts were super predictable, I was still taken aback by the drama and conflict.
I will say, adding Ariana was a little much. I understand we needed the "misconception" moment, but it felt so forced. It did play out well, but it wouldn't have been my first choice.
There were times Beckett felt too possessive. I know that's just his character, but I wish it didn't throw me off so much. It felt icky at times. He turns out to be a nice guy, so that's good. I just didn't like some of his choices.
I love that Jordyn and Beckett were lonely before they met each other and that they could help cure the others' loneliness. This is the perfect cozy book to read around Thanksgiving. I do wish they were snowed in a little longer, though.

Snowed In was such a cute, cute story! If you're looking for a sweet holiday novel that makes you feel good, this is your next read. The story isn't a new concept (boy with a bad reputation/girl who's been burned), but I kept sneaking off to read whenever I could, so it obviously kept my interest. The characters could be a little bit saccharin-sweet and cheesy at times, but the relationship between Jordyn and Beckett gives the perfect amount of affection with a bit of steam. Their relationship is the one we all look for for ourselves. It's a clean story with lots of humor, hometown quaintness, and characters who make you want to be snowed in with a hot football player and some delicious snacks!

If you've ever wanted to read a Christmas Hallmark movie, then this is the book for you.
The story is about a woman named Jordan who works for an Agricultural Software company. She gets assigned to go from Huston to Nebraska, to try to woo a former Husker football player, who now runs his family farm, to do a Superbowl commercial.
His name is Beckett " Heartbreak " Harper. He is a notorious womanizer and partier. But he stepped out of the spotlight a few years ago,and gave up the women and the snazzy lifestyle, after his mom died from cancer.
Jordan hates small towns and hates football players. She has a bad history with both. So she is very aggravated to be sent to Picketts, Nebraska on an assignment someone else should have done. She is used to being alone most of the time, except for at work.
Jordan arrives at the Harper Ranch, just hours before a snowstorm hits, that quickly becomes a raging blizzard. She falls and severely sprains her ankle, just as the snow start piling up. So, she has no choice but to stay in Beckett's guest room.
The days stretch into weeks, and the tension between Beckett and Jordan gets intense. They're both attractive and young, yet both have been hurt by past relationships. Soon their hearts melt and they fall deeply for each other.
Beckett agrees to the commercial.
But then all the sudden Beckett's ex shows up looking to stir up trouble......
How does it all end??? You'll have to read it to see.
This book is clean, aside from some innuendos and talking briefly about past liaisons but doesn't go in to details. There are no swear words, except for 'crap" and "hell".

I will never get tired of reading "snowed in" romances. In this instance, the setting is a farm in rural Nebraska with a lot of snow and animals. The male MC is a former NFL player-turned-farmer who is shooting a commercial to air during the Super Bowl. The female MC is the representative from the company sponsoring the ad, and the two of course fall in love over a couple of days of being stuck together in his home. It's a real treat for football fans because there is a lot of football talk throughout the story.
I downloaded this story for free on Amazon when I was browsing holiday-themed titles a few days ago. It's squeaky clean and trope-y, but I like them that way. There are two more in this series featuring siblings and other characters from the community and I think I'll go ahead and read them too because I enjoyed this one so much.

Beckett Heartbreak Harper has gone back to the farm where he grew up. His football career is over and the person he was going to marry left him because he was not going to be a super star. He makes the tabloids because of his dating. Everyone in the small town he lives in calls him Harp. Jordyn Mack has worked her tail off and now is planning her vacation. Her boss needs her to get their Super Bowl commercial and they want Heartbreak Harper. She plans to go meet him, get turned down and leave. Mother Nature had other plans. For the next few weeks they were snowed in. In that time they found out who each other really are. Never did she call him anything but Beckett. As the crew was there filming the commercial, the past comes back to haunt him. Beckett will do anything to get Jordyn back. Her present was priceless.

I liked it. It was a nice story although not so much what I was waiting for. I expected more heat and passion for that story. But the two main characters stayed so very proper it bordered on unrealistic and boring. Okay I get it he wanted to take things slow but nothing apart from kisses (and not even fiery ones) for over two weeks of dating? When he was supposed to be a lady's man? Uh uh this rang false.
Also. What with the cooking/ baking obsession? I thought I was reading a cooking book at one point.
To quote Beckett "What the hell?"
Shame though the story was a nice, well written one, it just lacked a little spicing to my taste. ;)

Jordyn and Beckett are the real thing!
Wentworth did it again! I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting. As a girl who has lived through a few Nebraska blizzards in a small town I adored the humorous and accurate depiction of Nebraskan small town life. Jordyn is relatable and a spit fire. Beckett is a dreamboat with just enough wariness to be realistic. As is the case in all of Wentworth’s books all her characters make you feel at home and like you’ve known them for years. Such a sweet and loving story and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy read that warms your heart.

The story really fell flat for me. I think many Hallmark movies have more depth than this.
I feel like a many points were exaggerated in order to create a plot. How many people would hate all football players because they dated one in high school and he treated them poorly? And how many would be scared that that story would be dug up by tabloids?
I also don't understand how being in a commercial about farming would help someone's reputation of being a ladies' man.
This book might please a young teenager but I don't think the writing is strong enough for a more mature audience.
It was a quick read but it became very redundant very quickly.

Sweet romance
This is the first time I have read this author's work and I didn't know what to expect. What a got was a sweet enemies to friends to lovers romance. Jordyn wanted nothing to do with a football player or the small town he lived in. But once she took the time to get to know Beckett she saw him as a friend. They got snowed in together at his farm which forced them to spend quality time together. I enjoyed this story especially the happily ever after ending.

I was looking for a cute, cozy read and am grateful that I found this book! I instantly fell in love with Jordyn and Beckett because of their banter. It's fun to watch their relationship develop and for them to share a side of themselves that they haven't with others. They share vulnerability -- the best way to create intimacy. The romance is clean, but doesn't lack in filling your heart!

This is not an exciting or adventurous read. Rather a bit slow paced as two adults that are snowed in with each other after a little mishap try to figure out their relationship while doing a lot of baking in between.
There is a good underlying message to people who are broken; with the right person, fractures can be mended, and life can be good.

This was a wonderful contemporary romance between an data analysis and a retired football star. She was sent to his farm to get him to make a super bowl commercial as he had a reputation for being a ladies man. She was a little thing was gorgeous and extremely smart. It's A great emotional love story.

Perfect romance
I absolutely loved this book. It was a sweet, romantic love story that included a hard headed city girl and former football player with a not so good reputation. Their chemistry was off the charts, and there was little drama. I strongly reccomend this book.

So sweet
This was a super, sweet and clean romance. I loved all main characters and side characters. The scenario was believable. Both h and H had rough back stories. You get drawn in. All the feels.
Standalone clean romance. Told from H and h POV. No cliffhanger. HEA.

Quick romance read. Got me ready for all the Hallmark movies coming. It wasn't overly gripping, and I wasn't a huge fan of Jordyn. But the romance was good and I loved the snow storm aspect.

Loved it!
Jordan and Beckett's story was a nice change from the usual love stories. The storyline, characters and the backdrop was exceptionally refreshing.
