A Prayer That Never Fails: 7 Spiritual Practices to Catapult You to Happiness

Rate this book
Want to know the greatest benefit of being a sannyasin? Well, you never have to stand in front of your cupboard and what should I wear today? There is only one color. When I was initiated into sannyasa, I thought I had become a different person forever. The reality was far from it. The only I was not the only one. Having met numerous seekers who visit our ashram to meet My Guru, Om Swami, I realized that most of them had similar woes. My failures were everyday failures for others just as much. They too were dancing to the fickle tunes of their unanchored and untamed minds. But there was hope. Simple instructions from the ingenious mind of My master rescued me. It is his infallible wisdom that I have tried to capture in this book. I hope the lessons in these pages bring you as much peace and clarity as they brought me.

Honest, Funny and Enlightening

Every word in this book rings so true.. Admission to personal failures in public is almost impossible for any of us. To do it, and be seen as an inspiration for others is even more impossible. Sadhviji has accomplished the impossible. Kudos to you.

On a more practical note, she has split up the ways of self purification to make it simple and easy to follow. If only we could do this consistently, I have no doubt that the joys of the heavens will open up to each one of us.

"A Prayer That Never Fails" by Sadhvi Vrinda Om is a book based on finding and and sustaining the happiness in your life.

The book is divided into 2 parts, the first part talks about knowing yourself very well whereas the second part talks about the 7 principles of happiness.

The 7 principles are named "The Sacred Seven". Each and every word in this book is a true in it's own sense and a mirror to us. It makes us realise what we all were running from till date.

This is a book which needs to be inculcated while reading and not just read and kept inside in the cupboard. Sadhviji has written the book from her true heart and without any editing is what can be told after reading this book.

This book seems very easy to read and doesn't appear to be discussing a serious topic. However, upon reading, it gives the hiccups and challenges one encounters on the spiritual path in a very easy to understand manner. The author has taken care to be honest in admitting her troubles on the way to spiritual mastery. This gives the hope and confidence that whatever experience one is going through is not limited to the individual, but a more common phenomenon. The author has explained her experience and given insights on some of the techniques she has used to overcome the obstacles.

This is a book which I would want to read periodically and get the confidence to go in the right direction spiritually.

This is what complete honesty looks like.

Sadhviji is very courageous to share her deepest insecurities and all the struggle she went through and get to the blissful state she is in today.
It provides a lot of hope that if she can do it, we can do it as well. Usually there is always this misconception that maybe these people just have something special going for them but this book takes away those layers and shows all the hard work and serious prolonged effort she has put in.
She goes on to explain how we can do it as well.
Good book overall

Another book by Sadhvi Vrinda Om (then Ismita Tandon) which touched me greatly. The young disciple's writings showed me a way to handle and act upon certain things of life, in the right way, without messing things up. I would recommend this book to everyone to read at least once. It's not just a read-and-forget book; instead, it's very helpful for people like us who are stuck within the labyrinth of this complex world, or perhaps a simple world that we have complexed so easily.

Helped me to gain a new insight about life. Also was inspired by 7 principles written in the book, albeit difficult to follow. Hope divine grace is always present on all of us.
