I really looked forward to this and was slightly disappointed.
It was a good story and a passable plot , but wow the mistakes were too many to count , and way to many to ignore.
Did this one pass by on the editor front and beta/arc team and they noticed nothing? . If so they need replacing. Wrong words , missing , misspelling. It’s just not on in this age when there is so much competition for books , readers wont except it.

If you want a good book and don’t mind errors go for it , the characters aren’t bad and as I say the story is quite good to .

This was quite enjoyable.

Fast paced on some parts and slow on other,"Bestfriend`s Boyfriend" started out very promising with the introduction of the main-leads, the carefree fashion designer Poppy Black and the sophisticated doctor Nathaniel Williamson. They met each other one year ago,in which Thalia(Poppy`s bestfriend) destroyed their insta-love moment by introducing Nathaniel as her boyfriend.Both Poppy and Nate stop resisting each other when Poppy becomes his patient and he breaks it off with Thalia (they weren`t even really dating,it was a front to trick their rich families and take them off their backs),and their story starts off from there.I Liked that.From there on there is some more hot love-making, unwanted drama (for me at least) and fortuitous pregnancy.I wasn`t that keen on the writing either,i know Victoria Snow is a Indie author and has her own style and i can see that she can write fine preferences,but it felt awful lot like i was reading a story by a amateur writer. Reading this story was like swimming calmly through a lake.It was nice,just like that.

I was not very impressed by this story. There was too much about how the main character Poppy is a plus-size wanna be model. I don't think there was a chapter that didn't mention this. It was an overdramatic mention. Also, I wouldn't say I liked that Poppy and Nate pretty much started a relationship before Nate broke it off with his girlfriend and Poppy's best friend, Thalia. If you can overlook this, then you have a pretty decent book.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Poppy Black and Nate Williamson. Poppy has had a crush on Nate since the first moment she saw him at a party thrown by her best friend and business partner Thalia. The only problem with this is moments after seeing him and getting lost just looking at him her best friend introduces him to her as her boyfriend. After that she does everything she can to avoid him. So when she takes a nose dive off the stage at the fashion show that she is showing her line at she can't believe he is her doctor. All it took was just one look for him to know he wanted Poppy but he was stuck. Now with her in his hospital it is taking everything in him not to jump her right then and there. He knows that it is all for show with her best friend but so far he hasn't had the guts to challenge it. When he and Poppy kiss for the first time and she pushes him away because of her best friend he knows he will do anything for her including get his life in order. Will these two find a HEA or will all the other people in their lives make that impossible?

This is another amazing story by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

This was a good read. Poppy is trying to make it as a designer in the fashion world. She ends up stressed and in the hospital. Her doctor is her best friends boyfriend who she ends up dating shortly after. I didn't care for all the secrets and lies. I do understand that Poppy wanted to tell Thalia at the right time. Thankfully it all turned out well for everyone.

I enjoyed this book. I liked Polly and Nate. I thought they had great chemistry. The story has lots of drama and emotional turmoil. The forbidden element to this romance adds tension and angst as you wait to see how the story plays out. I am choosing to post a sincere review.

The sex was hot. The rest was boring af. Poppy is selfish and immature. Too many errors, for instance when Poppy was looking for Miko and then the next sentence was she was saying how Mika is the only person who can call her “my girl” like what is the person’s name really?? Make up your mind. Miko or Mika?? Probably not a big deal but besides the sex it was a waste of time.

Nate And Poppy's Steamy Story Is A Secret Taboo Romance! Characters Are Likable But A Little Flat.

Poppy Black, roughly in her late twenties, moved to L.A. from her small Midwest hometown to pursue her dream career as a plus-sized model. She stubbornly stuck to her guns in an industry hyper-focused on size zero and made a career for herself as a model for eight years. But her aspirations had recently taken a new direction. With the support of Thalia - a fellow model and Poppy's best friend, roommate, and new business partner - Poppy started her own line of clothes designed specifically for curvier customers. She lives and works with Thalia, and without Thalia's involvement, their company wouldn't have gotten the financing needed to get started. So when Poppy sees a man from across the room at a party and knows the instant their eyes connect that they share a deep connection, she shrinks back when Thalia appears and wraps her arms around him, proclaiming him her boyfriend.

Dr. Nate Williamson, thirty-four, has tried to please his well-to-do family most of his life. He has barely dated since college, having been completely consumed with medical school and a high profile residency. When he is instantly drawn to a beautiful woman with curves that drive him wild, he is quickly reminded that he is on a blind date set up by his mother. Thalia is fun, and their families run in the same circles. Their mothers would love to see the pair married, so dating Thalia keeps everybody happy, even if he isn't attracted to her like he is to her best friend Poppy. It is easier to just go along, even if he senses that Thalia isn't all that into him, either.

When Nate is finally forced to admit to himself that he isn't happy going through the motions with Thalia, he breaks up and asks Poppy out for their first date. But each time Poppy tries to break the news to Thalia, Thalia has a crisis and Poppy delays the news that she knows will make Thalia unhappy. Nate and Poppy's blossoming love soon becomes a secret that threatens to damage her relationship with Thalia.

Thalia and Nate's relationship is based on their instant chemistry, and after a year of pining after one another, their steamy romance is explosive. As a doctor, Nate has concerns about Poppy's tenency to get lost in her work. Poppy is strong and independent, so they both need to come to terms with the balance between work and time off. In the end, the couple earns an HEA.

Nate and Poppy's steamy story is a secret taboo romance. The POV alternates between Poppy and Nate. The finished edition needs some polishing; there are numerous errors and typos. The plot is fairly simple. Two things stand out as problematic. First, it is hard to believe their romance remains hidden so long. Second, Poppy's lack of proactivity and her decisions during and after an interview and photo shoot feel out of character. The entire scene feels manufactured. The characters are likable but lack real depth. I rate this book 3.5 stars.

This is a wonderful story about 2 best friends Poppy and Thalia that own are trying to become successful in running their own fashion label after being models. Poppy is not your average model and has fought hard over the years with all her curves and not a tiny body and earning a living for everything she has. Thalia is from a wealthy family who expects her to marry a man from their same status and have babies so when she is set up with Nate a doctor her parents leave her alone. Nate is from a family who has been raised knowing what was expected of him so he agrees to date Thalia even though they don’t have any feelings whatsoever for one another. Along comes Poppy and Nate is taken with her at first sight and Poppy can not believe Nate is giving her those eyes. Poppy realizes that Nate is dating her best friend and stays away. This last for about a year until Poppy ends up under Dr. Nate’s care. These two kiss that leads to more very quickly. Thalia needs to grow up and stop using Nate as protection from her parents and Poppy needs to be upfront and honest with her best friend. Nate needs to come to terms with who Poppy is and help as best as he can to help see that all work and no down time is not good! Poppy & Thalia are best friends and business partners. Thalia is dating Nate and both their families come from money and they have made it clear that Nate and Thalia are to get married. Poppy meets Nate at a party she’s attending with her friend Thalia. When she sees him from across the room she’s instantly attracted to him and little does she know, but he feels the same about her.
Poppy has had to work hard for everything she has because she’s doesn’t come from a wealthy family. When Poppy passes out at a fashion show from anxiety and exhaustion it lands her in the hospital and her doctor is none other than Nate. Nate goes to check on her one day and he can’t wait any longer has to kiss her. Poppy is shocked but he makes it plain that he wants to get to know her better. Poppy wants the same the same thing but tell Nate she can’t betray her best friend, so Nate agrees and he breaks up with Thalia.
What will happen when Thalia finds out her best friend is now with her ex boyfriend.
This is a wonderful story with great characters and a storyline that will keep you wanting more. Will Poppy meet up to his family standards? Will Thalia forgive Poppy when she learns the truth?
This book sucked me in from the beginning, it’s full of laughs, drama, love and plenty of steam!

Sorry, I had to.

I hate to give anything less than 4 stars. Usually I just won't leave a review, BUT when I see so many 5 stars and wonder if we read the same book, I have to say something.
First off, please edit this book. About 85% of the pages either had a typo or autocorrect issues. Wrong name used and double sentences. It made it hard for the words to flow and allow you to get into it stay in the story.
I feel like important parts of the story were skipped over instead of going into details. We know it happened and then we are given cliffnotes. Then other parts are just so wordy I got bored and skipped paragraphs or pages at times.
I loved the characters and it had a good storyline. Just not executed the best way. It was more like the first stage of writing a book, a rough draft that outlined and generalized your plans for the book.
I feel horrible, I'm sure Ms. Snow put a lot of work into this book, I hate tearing anyone down. I sincerely want this to be taken as constructive criticism. I'm not a writer or a professional editor, just someone who reads over 100 books a year. I think if you edit this book again and make a few changes you would get a better result. I do give you 5 stars for putting your work out there tho.

This story is too much – I loved every bit of it. This story is about Poppy and Nate (Dr. Williamson). Of course, the best friend is Thalia (which by the name told me she would be to much into herself). She declared herself Nate’s girlfriend from the start to get her parents off her back, but they were not into each other whatsoever, and when Poppy lands in the hospital, Dr. Williamson is making sure she is well taken care of. Poppy’s character is something else – she is a hoot, but very proud of her accomplishments. Thalia is born with money, although Poppy wasn’t poor per say, she didn’t live in luxury, so she worked hard to be where she is. Dr. Williamson has made up his mind, he want’s Poppy even if she is no model, a plus size woman is what he is attracted to and what he will get. The problem is even though Poppy knows that Thalia is unfaithful and doesn’t really love Nate, she is guilty, and will this come between the two or will they make this work? You must read this as I said Poppy is a hoot and will make you laugh along with her employee/friend, Jefferson…

Poppy is a fashion designer and tends to get lost in her work easily. She has a bad panic attack that lands her in the hospital where Nate her best friend's boyfriend works. Nate is stunned when he sees the shape Poppy is in and worries about her. He wants Poppy but before he can do anything about it he needs to talk to Thalia because they both know its not working for them. Once that is done he starts his pursuit of Poppy. Poppy is attracted to Nate and when she finds out that he is free she can't stop her feelings anymore and gives in. They starts seeing each other secretly until she can find a way to tell her friend. Will they be able to be together with how they met? Can Nate convince her that they belong together?

This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first page until the last. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover. There's is no cheating in this story.

This book is a sweet and touching novel poppy is a design for today women that has worked her self to brink of non eccentrics for her career ,and the fact that she had romantic felllings for her bestfriend on again off again boyfriend doesn't help with the stress. Nate has worked long hours for being a doctor,and girlfriend at the time only wants to be with because it will benefit her with her family when he finally sees poppy as his patient the felling he has held for a year for her has finally come out. This book will let you see how stressful it could be to a fashion designer and try to have a relationship with the hot doctor your friend still talks too you about no sounder you would end up in a hospital bed ,but when your doctor becomes someone you can't live without I guess there might be some plus to that. I received this book as a arc for a honest review and can say that this a sweet book with a lot of emotion that can turn into something more.

First off, I have got to say that I love reading this author's work, there is always a little something, a special twist that is uniquely hers in each story. This is book two in the Be My Boyfriend series. Poppy and Thalia are best friends and Thalia is dating Nate. But Poppy and Nate share an attraction that they do bury......until one day they don't. One kiss leads to two and soon it's more than a kiss between Poppy and Nate. These two are going to have to come clean because in nine months it all have to be spilled out anyway. Can Poppy and Nate make a HEA or will friends and family break them apart? As always a great read that has a few twists to keep you turning those great pages to see what happens next and wondering if it will all work out. Enjoy!

Wow! I absolutely loved it! I was a little nervous from reading the title, because I hate cheating. Poppy wakes up in the hospital to find out she had passed out during her runway show. She ended up falling off of the runway from dehydration and exhaustion. When the doctor comes in, she sees it is her best friend Thalia's boyfriend Nate. She has always been interested in him and soon they can not deny the chemistry. He tells her he is going to break up with Thalia. Poppy refuses to go out with him until he does. Now, I do not want to give away anything else. Just trust me, everything is not what it seems. Love happens when you least expect it. Oh and I wish I had a Grandma Izzy!

Poppy is a designer and when she has lands in the hospital for exhaustion she meets Nate. Nate is Poppy's best friend and partner's boyfriend. The minute they set eyes on each other, fireworks explode. However, Thalia doesn't love Nate, but she is going through the motions to please her family, keep her funding and he was doing the same for his mother's sake. They are both stuck in a relationship that they do not want and Poppy is in the middle. Nate and Poppy are keeping the attraction to themselves, has they do not want to hurt Thalia. This story will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and the spin in this story is amazing!

Poppy is a curvy clothing designer who is intent on opening the world of fashion up to all women, especially the plus size models whose bodies are more like hers than the typical fashion model. Nate is a doctor, who happens to be the boyfriend of her best friend/roommate. Sadly, Poppy has harbored a crush on him for the past year. When Poppy ends up in the hospital due to an anxiety attack and dehydration, Nate is her doctor. I really like the premise of this book, but some proofreading/editing errors almost made it difficult to finish. That said, I am familiar with books by Ms. Snow and I have enjoyed her as an author. I will always look forward to reading her books.

Ooo it's naughty, because in what world does a woman breaks the unspoken law of don't date my friend's ex code. This book does. I liked it, because where the character was Bullheaded, she tried to stay true to herself through everything. Even to her bestie. And the book flowed good from start to finish.
Poppy's secret love fascination with her best friend's boyfriend. Just might the bug that bites her on the butt. She shouldn't want him, but she does. She shouldn't think about what her friend does to him, but she does and where she's not happy about it. There's not a lot she can do about it. But what if she got her wish... and at what price..

I was enjoying the story until it seemed to me all of sudden months and months go by and bam she is about to have a baby , it seemed too sudden.
It was like so much time was put into the start of the story and then the ending was really rushed and not much energy put into the end of the story, and it’s not like it’s a small book it’s nearly 300pages. I also think things are left unresolved for example nates mum and her assistant that could of been resolved a bit more, for example the how and why how Jefferson and Thalia at the end. The end seemed way to rushed. That’s why only 3 stars otherwise would of been more

Cute but so many errors

I’m giving this story 2.5 stars. The story itself was cute and the characters worked well with each other. BUT the grammar in this book is just downright awful. I’m not sure if there was any type of proofreading or editing done on this and it clearly shows. Sentences that don’t make sense, or get cutoff. Misspelled words, name inconsistencies (Miko and Mika in the same paragraph), choppy paragraphs and it goes on and on. It was extremely hard to get through the book with all of this. Soo if you are a grammar freak, this may not be the right book for you.

Story was cute and sweet and I did love the connection between Poppy and Nate. This would have been a better book if the author had someone go through and make edits.

Decent Story-Between 3.5 & 4 Stars

The story was pretty decent. The beginning of this relationship was good/fun/unrealistic, but great to read nonetheless. A couple of the relationships & communication between a couple of the characters was unsettling and rude, not really practical. However, the feelings between the couple and their commitment to each other & their relationship was nice. Major issue, though, is the amount of grammatical errors in the text. I was still able to replace text as I read to correct sentences, but it was one of the worst cases of grammatical problems I've seen. I am still satisfied with my decision to read the book.

I enjoyed this story so much. Loved all the characters and I wouldn't mind seeing a book for Thalia and Jefferson. Nate and Poppy were awesome together and the way they got together just cracked me up. Loved how protective and caring Nate was over Poppy. I loved how driven Poppy was, but that she let Nate help her when she needed it. Overall, I just loved this book. I definitely recommend reading this one. I'm sure you'll love it too!

Wow, this was one fast paced book. Quick in transition from acquaintances to lovers. Liked how Nate didn’t let anything deter him from going after Poppy. Loved the way she took pride in her career and fought for her success. The characters were built up with just enough backstory to show the reasons why Nate finally started making choices his happiness and not willing to let Poppy work herself into an early grave.

Poppy Black is a designer. She and her friend Thalia have opened their own business. When Poppy was making a correction to a models outfit she had an anxiety attack and fells off cat walk. When Poppy came to she was in the hospital. Poppy’s Doctor is Nate, who happens to be Thalia’s boyfriend. Nate and Poppy have a moment that shoots off fireworks. This book has lots of twists and turns. I really enjoyed reading this book.

What a romantic story! Love at first sight, then watching him with your best friend would have made me so angry! The characters are all well written and awesome. The friendships are all so close they make me jealous. lol. I have just started reading Victoria Snow's work and must say that I have not found something to complain about. I feel she is getting better and better with each book. I would highly recommend this title and any other by this author. A must read!

I enjoyed this well-written and entertaining storyline. The main characters are developed and realistic. I didn't like the way they got together but after it is revealed that her bestie has been using the love interest to keep her family at bay, while our Hero is pretty much doing the same as his family expects, the reader will begin to overlook it. IMO there is too much emphasis placed upon our heroine as being plus sized. Overall this is an engaging romance.

Amazing and fantastic! This book met all of my expectations and then some; I had so much fun reading it! It is well written with a well-developed plot that is consistent, realistic, and emotionally deep. It is funny and the dialogue is absolutely amazing. The characters are really loveable, deep, and sincere; the chemistry is intense and the sex scenes are off the charts hot! I loved watching their story unfold. Definitely recommended!
