Rate this book
Louis Silvani, UFO lecturer and ET-obsessed blogger, struggles to convey a sense of urgency to his curious followers. After a failed presentation and a terrifying encounter, Louis meets Mary Ellen Velarde, a Jicarilla Apache woman with divine knowledge of Louis, himself. Together they embark on a fast-paced, journey of discovery, full of physical and spiritual challenges and people with astonishing abilities. As Mary Ellen gradually reveals her own unique identity, a cell of abductees and veterans forms with a goal of assisting civilization towards its true destiny. Is Disclosure the one event that needs to happen in order to save humanity from itself?

The Disclosure Paradox crosses over multiple genres with action, spirituality, social voice, and relatable characters who mirror the diversity in this world. Readers will ponder our existence. The book brings controversial issues to light, which it is hoped will provoke serious discussion and questioning of convention. The intent is to bring together those who have set religious beliefs and those who rely exclusively on science for guidance. Most of all, after reading the book, it is hoped that people are moved to partake in a spiritual revolution.

This book addresses the place where science and spirituality converge. The book will appeal to those who believe in, or question, traditional religious teachings, people with military interests or experience, people that believe in life on other planets, people who believe those in power have ulterior motives, and those who are spiritually awakened.

The Disclosure Paradox Kindle Edition by Paul Vecchiet, I awarded five stars, and here’s why. First the book began as an ongoing research or human journey project. Perhaps triggered by an experience or an encounter with our perceived unknown view of existence. Ho-hum, much of the stuff I knew or have somewhat forgot, so I remembered. But, a close kindred to my own quest that began perhaps over four decades ago. Then, I saw a story peeking through. I became more interested, and the story unfolded from there. There is a strong message here for readers with an apparent urgency to find the answer. Answer to what? Well that is personal with each individual, and you will have to read The Disclosure Paradox, to discover for yourself. I highly recommend the book.

The Disclosure Paradox
A powerful researched book that presents readers with many aspects of the spiritual and philosophical worlds as we enter the mind and world of Louis Silvani caught up in the world of UFO and Et ‘s as he immerses himself deeply into speaking and meeting people who claimed to have seen these entities, others who were abducted and taken sharing their experiences and outcomes. Focusing on three areas after creating a social media group that’s private and having a talk with a psychic.
There were 3 significant truths he would explore: the truth behind the suppression of natural cures, the truths behind energy related inventions, and the conspiracy to suppress those inventions and disclosure. Do why not become an activist for disclosure. Reading chapter 2
the author through Louis takes us inside the minds of those who claimed to be abducted, developing Unbound Encounters where people joined the private group and were able to share experiences. People volunteered their accounts with nonhuman sentient beings. Read pages 12-14 and join those who believe.
Each phase of his investigation and all the notes and files illuminated the rare sightings, the encounters and how the government, military intelligence, presidents and people that contacted him with stories that proved to add to his presentation files that hex would speak about at the UFO conference. Pages 19-26 will astound you and draw you into this book and turning the pages until you know all the truths and falsehoods behind the encounters and transmissions. Then the presentation and the ending quite literally chilling as Louis is blindsided by members of the audience and out of nowhere comes Mary Ellen Velarde who knows him too well and who offers to take him to the places mentioned in his speech and by those in the audience.
But meeting Margaret and then deciding on a path he begins to see people, hear voices and wonders why these visions are coming and why she’s hoping to direct his path. But a phone call to the chief of police if where she lives takes over and will the team sent act against her and Louis?
Then the author gives us the history of Louis’s past and how he came to realize that life in catholic school was not what he expected, rules, rituals and reading pages 147-148 defines how and why.
Then his ex-wife and he’s to have his children for a few hours on Saturday before his adventure with Mary Ellen. He’s begun to have lucid dreams and even feeling like floating or lingering in clouds above the earth. Plus wait until you see what he sees when looking they dispersed and made out the image of a large medieval fortress and much more. The author describes his visions in detail.
His visit with his children different than most fathers who only see them for a few hours and no sleep overs. Then the next step but first a visit with Anne in an unusual space and place before heading out with Mary Ellen. The first stop was her friend Deborah and her partner as they ate and were going to bed for the night Mary Ellen questioned Deborah about a photo and what is revealed shocked her to the core. Plus, Louis learns more about the guides and the watchers who revealed to Mary Ellen.
he’s on the tight path.
Then the explanation about the spirits, the prayers and the guardians and why Deborah decided to join the journey, but will she change on the way and going to meet Kaja will add more information about abduction and then the three talked about what they said at dinner and then we learn about Kaja’s past on pages 94-98 plus talking about the trip to Dulce. Then we met McGeorge and hear about his psychic events and these beliefs. The definition of greed, earthly rewards and the archons who make use of greed, but will they raise the stakes? The he talks about a vision during a workout. How can his spirit enter the speaker’s body? Read pages 109-113 and take part in the event and then a second one. The end of the Divine Warrior elaborates more. Wait until you see what he gives the three of them. Deborah, Kaja, George and now Katrina provides us with their information, encounters, visions and her longtime boyfriend Robert Ladd and his fight with substance abuse, PTSD and more.
The entire chapter focuses on both Katrina and Robert as two more join the journey to Dulce and each one expires her own reasons, visions, reliving events and Mary Ellen who interprets them all. McGeorge’s encounters are startling and have many visions, demons and ghosts but them we fast forward and learn we hear more from Mary Ellen and Katrina wondering how she was being asked to do a job that could endanger her. The plan is dangerous, and Katrina’s mind might not survive but her reasons for this relate to the abduction of her daughter and others in the past. The plan is set and how will the evacuation take place?
The next chapter deals with the pre-assault and how Mary Ellen describes her thoughts and Dulce as the prime location. Would her team act as decoys? The decoys arrived the weapons and needed things packed and then shocks and awe as the operation is about to unfold. The operation is explosive and the outcome unbelievable as you enter the lab and see the creatures and where they are housed and one who it belongs to. Added in the NRO comes, Chief Martin has been injected with a memory blocker and what happens will astound you and what Deborah reveals and the Archurians handling the operation and when the team needs to leave, and how they controlled the threats. What about the damaged base and what does Deborah reveal to an agent that will soon be forgotten?

Then a noise and entering a room and a woman in distress and military men raping her as Robert, Mary Ellen and Deborah go into action in a scene you won’t ever forget.
Then facing more danger and dealing with the captives and taking his lab coat plus the airmen were stunned and told where they came from, and the next part of the mission was not over, and the airman and airwoman found themselves their captives and wait until you hear where they are and where they all wind up and how.
Mary Ellen then speaks to Robert and explains what he must understand to what’s happening in Earth. The prime component is the spiritual piece. How do humans fit and how she explains it to him page179 which includes negative energy and those that are suffering plus what they really are as she describes the hierarchy and its levels. Page 180 explains what the EOD guys endured and how he felt about what he saw in the past.
Then Tara and Mount Shasta and how they were viewing her: were they sent to kidnap her or she took a camping trip with close friend. Then just who is she and a message from the man Robert shot and killed and it was chilling. As Mary Ellen connects the attacks at Dulce and there is much more. Trevor was roped into helping them and Tara wakes up started and was told they administered a memory blocker. Then she had to explain the group to her against and they each made day plans and plans where they were going next and why.
Tara is traumatic and needs help but the team explains what Haiti her and yet she feels unsure and no hope. Deborah’s encounter with the airman remains upfront in her mind. At the end of their journeys and the sightings where will this wind up?
A final chapter that rounds it all out and sightings that happen, and one more trip for Mary Ellen and Louis. Join them as they climb up Mount Fuji and join in what they see. Each person comes to the end of their journey but read what Mary Ellen and Tara and Louis experience. A connection, a revelation and more as the voice explains why humans do not spiritually evolve enough to manage the powerful force of the universe. What is the final disclosure paradox as the Lemurian explains in its message.
Real or memory? What’s next for all of them? Are you a believer?

The Disclosure Paradox by first-time author Paul G. Vecchiet is a science fiction novel that dives into multiple genres. You’ll find action, spirituality, and societal issues. It’s written to provoke and stimulate conversations, unlike other sci-fi novels. The focus of the book is to bring together people that believe in science and those that are deeply religious.

Louis Silvani is an older man, set in his beliefs. He’s a dedicated ET blogger and UFO lecturer. He’s determined to convince his listeners and followers that aliens exist. Unfortunately, his presentation did not go as planned. His world is further turned upside down when he meets Mary Ellen Velarde. She’s a Jicarilla Apache who seems to know everything about Louis. From here, Louis’s heart-pounding adventure starts.

“Breathe in deeply.” Mary Ellen inhaled deeply, held it in and then exhaled slowly with lips partially closed, showing Louis. Louis followed her instructions and did exactly as she did. They repeated the exercise a few more times. Louis regained his composure. “They don’t want me to continue with my work. They threatened to kill my family if I did not heed their warning. They did not speak, but I heard what they told me. They knew what I was thinking, and they used it to terrorize me.”

On their adventure, they meet friends and enemies. Some have astonishing abilities. They’ll face physical and spiritual challenges as they work towards their goal. Louis learns that a group of women is searching for their stolen babies. He also learns the Mary Ellen is one of the infants stolen from her mother’s womb. The children are part of the various parties’ struggle to help mankind reach its true destiny. How they are helping is not always for mankind’s benefit.

The characters have depth and are believably drawn-out. Anyone that picks up the book will find a resemblance to someone they know. The book accurately reflects all of mankind’s faces, including the uglier sides. Religious enthusiasts and UFO buffs will both find echoes of their respective beliefs and ideologies accurately represented. The goal of the book is to bring both sides together, not belittle one or the other.

You’ll think about your existence and what it means. The Disclosure Paradox is a thought-provoking novel. It questions what society considers as conventional. It also opens up conversations about controversial subjects. For his first novel, Paul G. Vecchiet has written a story everyone will talk about.

Born in Italy and raised in the U.S. since he was three, Paul G. Vecchiet has led an active life. He’s a proud former Air Force officer and a licensed architect working for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. With his ground-breaking first sci-fi novel where science and spirituality collide, readers will be eagerly awaiting his next book.

Good science fiction not only captures the reader's imagination, but also challenges their view of the real world. With elements like extra terrestrial life, alien technology, government collusion and cover-ups, enhanced human abilities, and themes around spirituality, The Disclosure Paradox leaves its readers with a lot to think about.

Although I was a little skeptical about the trope of a white male savior main character at first, Vecchiet's Louis is human and humble. It takes a lot of convincing for him to acknowledge that he may have something to offer humanity. He often defers to the wisdom, confidence, and abilities of the diverse cast of women that accompany him on his journey of discovery.

The pace of the plot is fast, the stakes are high, and the characters, as well as the reader, need to process a lot of info and make decisions about belief or disbelief fairly quickly. I'm hoping we get more detail about some of the ET species, the spiritual planes of existence, and the special abilities of certain characters in the rest of this series. Like Louis and a fateful radio broadcast that he happened upon as a high schooler, I'll continue to tune in and see where it takes me.

The Disclosure Paradox is an electrifying journey that blurs the lines between science, spirituality, and human potential. Paul Vecchiet has crafted a story that is both thrilling and thought-provoking. The characters, particularly Louis Silvani and Mary Ellen Velarde, are compelling and deeply human, yet they also embody extraordinary abilities that push the story into the realm of the extraordinary. I was particularly impressed by how the book seamlessly weaves action-packed sequences with profound spiritual and philosophical questions. The narrative challenges conventional beliefs, inviting readers to reconsider the intersections of science, religion, and the mysteries of the universe. The plot’s fast pace keeps you hooked, while the social and spiritual commentary gives the story real depth. This book is perfect for readers who enjoy stories about extraterrestrial life, secret government agendas, and the exploration of human consciousness. It left me pondering our purpose and the possibilities beyond what we can see and measure. Vecchiet doesn’t just tell a story he sparks a conversation about humanity’s destiny.
A must-read for anyone open to questioning reality and exploring the potential of the human spirit.

The Disclosure Paradox follows UFO/UAP researcher Louis Silvani through a harrowing adventure into the world of paranormal and beyond in this page turning action packed booked. Louis and his group of brave and gifted friends with ESP/paranormal abilities journey their way into one of the most talked about and feared topics in the UFO research world: the Dulce UFO Base. The Dulce base is purported to be where a joint human/alien operation is currently taking place pertaining to human abductions and alien hybrids. Author Paul Vecchiet weaves important pieces of known UFO lore, some of which may be true, into this action packed adventure. Vecchiet certainly did his homework on this one, which keeps this work of fiction engaging to all readers, even if they don't have a UFO research background. Definitely check this one out, you will not be disappointed!!!!

Readers will ponder our existence.

That sentence is from the book's blurb and oh boy did it **grab** my attention. There's nothing I like better than a book that'll make me think. Sure the whole “journey of discovery, full of physical and spiritual challenges” before It was more of a turn off but like I said that one sentence sold me so off I went.
Now having read the book, I haven't changed my mind but I am left with mixed emotions. Right off the bat in the prologue this goes into the “casual” topic of destiny and how for it there are typically three belief systems (for, against, mixed) and cool, I'm all for philosophy but then it takes a turn with discussing the atypical: “Only after they realize the path taken, the critical forks in the road that led them to where they stand, do they begin to understand destiny itself. Until that moment they like most people, thinking they are in control.” From there it gets a little boring with Louis Silvani's backstory (how he grew up catholic (as in both the religion and in religious school) then went public for high school, etc) which like I said wasn't particularly thrilling but what I will say for it is that Louis's journey to me reflects most of ours, namely that at home (or our formative years) we can learn one thing while school (or the world) can teach us something that is the other extreme. Then we get to the truly “conspiracy theory stuff” that frankly I won't get into other than saying that because it deals with religion and UFOs you know it's a rough ride. And then it's a climactic ending...
For a pro I suppose I'll mention that the book to me *does do* as it claims :”The book brings controversial issues to light, which it is hoped will provoke serious discussion and questioning of convention. The intent is to bring together those who have set religious beliefs and those who rely exclusively on science for guidance. Most of all, after reading the book, it is hoped that people are moved to partake in a spiritual revolution.”
I'll also mention that the chapters read like short stories which is an interesting choice though I wouldn't call it a pro or a con.
And for cons I can but say the subject matter though that is purely subjective.
As a whole this book was a little hard for me to rate, in part for the “hot issue” topics it handles but also because personally I have some “problems” with 'spiritual awakening' the way the book portrays it and that isn't helped by how this is fiction but based on real people (and experiences) but I also have to concede that the entire point of the book is to spark debate so in that light I suppose it's only a good thing that I take issue with some of the ideas. Subjectively I wouldn't rate this very high but as a book this is well written (if at times a bit slow) and because I appreciate what it was trying to do I ended up giving it an average 3 stars (not great but not horrible) with a warning that this is definitely not for everyone.
To finish off I reiterate that this is definitely not for everyone so I would only recommend if you like things that are out there and even with that in your favor I'd also say something like 'be ready to get offended' or 'to spit your drink out' when you read some of the “truths” this book has to offer. If you're okay with that then have at it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Paul beautifully touches on many topics, such as science fiction, spirituality, and conspiracy theories. The story is engaging from start to finish, with complex characters and just enough action to keep you on your toes. The topics of spirituality and its relationship with religion and the extraterrestrial often is thought provoking. Whether you’re a believer in the extraterrestrial or simply enjoy a good science fiction book, this book has something for you.

The Disclosure Paradox feels like if Ancient Aliens had a book baby with philosophy and spirituality. It mixes conspiracy theories, philosophical conversations, government secrets, and so many related topics in a well educated way. Combining true facts, conspiracies, and science can be very difficult, but the author did an immaculate job here.

I gave this book four stars because I did really enjoy the story, the found family trope present throughout the book, and learning about UFOs/UAPs, but I did find myself getting overwhelmed with the spiritual aspect. I would still highly recommend this if you are interested in UFOs, aliens, spirituality, and philosophy.

This book was written by a co-worker and we share some of the same thoughts about existence and history and what is really going on in the world around us. The author is very intelligent and has a story to tell. The beginning of the novel came across as the author writing about himself and it was like an autobiography. Then the story goes into what most would say is a “fictional” direction. I have not asked the author, but I believe it is possible that everything that was written actually happened and that the people in his book are real people and the beings encountered were real as well. The main character, Louis, decides to write a book at the end and I have to wonder - is this Louis’ book?? Read it and find out for yourself!

Fascinating new SF author. First half of the book is cerebral, setting the background of a fantastic, massive, impossible conspiracy, perhaps only the minds of a few? The second half is an all action, adventure, battles, heroics… Always kept my interest, well-paced, flows well, great dialogue. Reading this will challenge your security clearance!

This book is not only entertaining but also makes you think about the possibilities. It’s follows Louis as he investigates military bases for alien creatures with a group of friends. While being a work of fiction it also incorporates just enough realism to make you realize that that is probably how the government or family members would react if this is happening in real life. There were a lot of surprises and interesting storylines to keep in wanting more. Thank you netgalley for this arc

This book deals with many issues such as religion, politics, relationships and the unknown. It is so well thought out and researched that if I wasn’t a true believer in the beginning, I certainly was at the end. It gives an interesting look at complex issues and gives them meaning. I was hooked all the way through which surprised me as I have never been into this kind of genre. However, this is a mixture of fiction and factual occurrences which you can tell Paul has put his all into studying. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

📚 Book Review: The Disclosure Paradox by Paul G. Vecchiet

What if the truth we’ve been chasing isn’t just hidden—but protected by forces beyond our understanding?

In The Disclosure Paradox, Paul G. Vecchiet crafts a mind-bending narrative that blurs the line between science fiction and spiritual awakening. It’s not just about UFOs and government secrecy—it’s about the cost of knowing, and the courage it takes to confront truths that could shatter reality.

Louis Silvani is a man haunted by his past and obsessed with what lies beneath the surface—literally and metaphorically. When a mysterious blueprint leads him to an underground chamber, his search for answers plunges him into a shadowy world of covert operations and chilling experiments. But this isn’t your average alien thriller. With the help of Mary Ellen Velarde, a Jicarilla Apache woman deeply connected to ancient knowledge, the story transforms into a soulful exploration of destiny, consciousness, and the battle for humanity’s future.

What makes The Disclosure Paradox so compelling isn’t just its gripping plot—it’s the way it dares you to think. It challenges us to question the nature of truth, the existence of other life forms, and the hidden history we may never fully uncover. Vecchiet masterfully weaves science, mysticism, and human emotion into a tale that lingers long after the last page.

🛸 If you’re a fan of thought-provoking sci-fi with spiritual depth, this is a must-read.

⭐ Verdict: Riveting, mysterious, and deeply introspective.

Where does fact end and fiction begin? Are we alone on the planet? Does the Bible record visits from ET? What is our life purpose? This book explores some very heady subjects through the fictional tale of Louis Silvani, an architect in the Air Force, who discovers a secret cryogenic laboratory in a federal facility which houses extraterrestrials and is forever changed by his discovery.

Louis, now a civilian, launches a second career as a researcher and lecturer on ‘interterrestrials’. Determined to visit the places he lectures about, we follow Louis on a life altering road trip from Chicago to Mount Shasta and places in between with friends Mary-Ellen and Dorothy. Their trip is one of self discovery as well as spiritual exploration.

Readers will be familiar with many of the themes the author presents. I was impressed with the sensitivity with which he addressed the themes and my usual cringe reaction to anything with metaphysics or conspiracy theories was not triggered. In fact I found myself intrigued and impressed with the writing. I was really intrigued by the Bible revelations and many times questioned whether I was reading fact or fiction. I cannot wait for book two to be released.

If you enjoy Michael Crichton’s writing style, you’ll enjoy Mr. Vecchiet’s as well.

The Disclosure Paradox by Paul Vecchiet is a compelling blend of science fiction, mystery, and philosophical exploration. From the very first pages, the story pulled me into a world filled with deep questions about existence, technology, and humanity’s place in the universe.

Vecchiet crafts a narrative that is both intellectually stimulating and emotionally resonant. The plot is layered and rich with ideas, and while it occasionally challenges the reader with its complexity, it rewards those who stick with it. The pacing is deliberate, but never dull, and the gradual unraveling of the paradox is satisfying and surprising.

What stood out most to me were the themes truth, belief, and the limits of knowledge. The characters serve the story well, particularly the protagonist, whose journey feels authentic and relatable despite the extraordinary circumstances.

If you're looking for a sci-fi novel that goes beyond the typical action beats and offers something to reflect on long after the last page, this book is worth your time. Highly recommended for fans of smart, concept driven science fiction.

From the moment you begin to read this book its very difficult to put down. I was scheduling my day around being able to read this book even at work. Mr. Vecchiet takes you on a journey unlike anything you can even begin to imagine. Which is why its so hard to put the book down. Let me put it another way, all the TV shows and documentaries on the subject of Aliens, atom bombs, Roswell and Government cover ups dating back to the Eisenhower administration is going to be mind blowing and make a hell of a lot more sense after you read this book. The other subject in his book he mentions is the amazing gifts that we humans have and we don't even know it.
This book left me wanting to know more. About our friends from other worlds, and about us as human beings. "BUT" most importantly it has made me want to know more about myself, and the gifts I already have that I haven't tapped in to yet.
Thank you Paul..

Despite my limited experience with sci-fi, I found the book thoroughly enjoyable—well-written, engaging, and highly entertaining. Overall, it was a great read, and I’m glad I gave it a chance. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to explore the genre.
