Having a hard time rating this. My initial thought was zero because I was so angry, but this was still probably a good story for those who want this other perspective. I am a huge fan of this author, but I was very frustrated when I found out this was another retelling of Her and Mine. I was under the impression this was going to pick up where the CLIFFHANGER of Mine left off. I preordered (something I never do) Them the day before it was released because I knew I loved everything this author wrote and could not wait to continue Megan/Alana’s journey. I would have never bought this had I known this was just another retelling. I will never preorder a book again. It was really not clear on the story description as to what this was going to be about. I read the Prologue and next chapter when I realized this was not the book I was expecting. This really should have been said somewhere in the description that this was another perspective of Her and Mine-Kam and Alana’s perspective. Will be waiting until 2/14/20 for Us (the next book). Hopefully that one will be the continuation I was expecting. Still love the author, don’t get me wrong, but this should have been a little clearer as to what this story was.

I am going to say it again - I really like Portia Moore - but this is the 3rd book and I am super frustrated - not only does it mirror if I break but I feel like I have now read the same book 3 times - again I was slightly confused as I thought blue did not know who Alana was or that it was his cousins Alana ... I read the other two books awhile ago so maybe I just don’t remember...I will keep reading and hoping her writing goes back to normal and that there is some uniqueness to this story and not just continued retelling of the other story line with reversed sexes

Can it be February yet?

This book went into more details about Alana,Megan, Kam, and Blue . I was a little disappointed that Ian was not really a huge part in this one because I’m TEAM IAN . Overall though it’s a good read and I’m excited for the next one !

A few surprises

I love this storyline and the if I break series is one of my favourites. I found I had to skip half of the book as it is exactly the same as the first book but from a diff POV so it felt like reading the same book again and a bit monotonous. You find out some things that will shock you however and make you want to keep reading to find out more!
In all I enjoyed the book and will read the next books in the series.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel I have to for this one. This author certainly knows how to sell books with an unfinished ending in each one. Though entertaining, there is so much redundancy in this book that it is irritating. In fact, I went back to the previous book to check something, and there was the e act same wording. It seems to me that he whole series could have been combined to be more coherent and less repetitive. Even though it is written from different character perspectives, feel like it could be written into a one complete book.
Be thing that really bothered me in ‘Them’ was the character Blue. What is introduced I this book is inconsistent with the previous books in this series. I don’t find that his relationship with Megan/Alana is believable compared to his actions and relationships in the previous books. Will I buy the next book in the series? Doubtful, since there are so many other books in the universe nd I am not anxious to read the same story again. I only gave this a two star instead of one because it was entertaining. Although the previous series, Broken, had unfinished endings, it seemed like there was less redundancy in it. Even better was “the Trouble with Before”. It had several characters from the Broken series, but it could be complete as a stand alone. This series is one big soap opera.

Oh my goodness, where do I start. First, I guess I start with I LOVE this author. I have read a lot of her other books and loved them all. This was though. I did not read any reviews on it at all, which is typical for me. It was book three in a series called Them, which of course, would lead you to believe that you would hear from all for main characters POV, but assumed it would be a continuation from the second book. That was where my mistake was made. It was a complete retelling of books 1 and 2, in a shorter way, I am hoping to make way for the book coming out in February. I want a conclusion to this story. I am invested in both Alana and Ian and Megan and Kam. I need to know how this story ends. I wish that was what the author did not do with this book. I did catch maybe one or two more little tidbits that maybe I missed in books 1 and 2, and I am not sure they will make any difference to the story, but that is why I gave it a 3 instead of a 2.

If I were reading the series, and I knew more going in, I would safely say you could absolutely skip this book and probably be okay with moving right onto the next book. Looking forward to February!

This was not what I was expecting. The last book (Mine) left off with a big cliffhanger. This book does not pick up where that left off. This book is a retelling of Her and Mine from Alana and Kam’s POV.

I’m still not a fan of Alana’s. But I love Kam even more now. Unfortunately, I do not see him being able to deal with the alter Alana. She’s a mean crazy ass bitch. Whereas, Megan is sweet and good. So most likely Ian will be the last man standing. And I’m not a big fan of Ian. He’s a super manwhore who likes crazy mean bitches (Alana).
I can’t see him with Megan.

I had high hopes for this series ..... as I loved the If I Break series. I just can’t see this working out in a way that will leave me satisfied.

Them (Her book3)

This book is to be a continuation of book 2 of he Her series but it is not like a Novella of 1 and 2 with a little more back story about Blue , another one of the characters in the book.
I understand what the author is trying to do but surely there was an alternative solution.
By the time I had read 170 pages of 279 , I thought I was clicked into the wrong book on my kindle, I had to check several times.
If I didn't value my kindle so much it would have been thrown into the corner with frustration.
At this point I felt like returning the book and asking for a refund.
I did finish the book and still feel as frustrated as I did at page 170 as still no continuation from book 2.
Poor editing.

Omg, what will become of Jan and Ian?! Which one will prevail?! Is Alana/Megan, expecting? Ian did mentioned that he wanted to start a family. Will Alana takes over permanently? My question is though...Did Blue, knew all along that Alana/Megan, are the same person? How could he not when he's around her every time each one shows up?! Did he not make the connection? Do many unanswered questions...Will Blue ever forgive Katie? Personally O don't think so. But who knows. She did cheat on him. I cannot wait until February 14th for the next installment.😁👍💖

This is the 3rd book in the “Her” series. You get to see a little bit more character development which is always a plus. And although I felt like it was needed it does seem a little repetitive, given what’s already happened. Yet you still get more information when you read and get deeper into the characters minds. This book, like the others, was not a let down in the least and I can’t wait for the next one. How I haven’t read this author before is beyond me but I’m rectifying that right now!!!

Really disappointed with this book. I binge read Portia Moore's If I break and Her series in a matter of days. Same premise, Dissociative identify disorder, but this book left A LOT lacking. It was a retelling of what we know already, and thats a cop out that should be left for releases on Wattpad. I still love your work, Portia but the only saving grace in this one is the glimpses we see of Cal and Chris. I can never get over these two.

Disgusted

Why did you feel as though we had to go through books 1 &2 again??? I felt totally cheated.. TOTALLY AND THEN YOU GI VE US A LITTLE BIT OF NEW MATERIAL... If I wasn't Sooo invested in getting to the END of this story I'd say to HELL with your books but believe me... I'll NEVER EVER read anything by Portia Moore AGAIN!!!!

book 3 and I'm still at a 5 star rating. If you like the I break series you will love this series. So far this has been a fantastic read. The story telling is flowing great and I like the characters are going. If there is a loose end the author doesn't leave you hanging and your questions get answered. Can't wait to read the next book.

I was really disappointed in this book. It was so much of book 2. Just rereading it. I am disappointed that I had to pay twice for the sAme story.

I hope the next in the series is a better book. I will tell my friends it's the same as reading book 2.

Although it’s a repeat you do catch a few pieces of information not known yet in the others but not enough to write a whole dang book relating itself. Not happy about that I skipped through a lot of the stuff I already read.

It's a re-write of the perspectives of Alana and Kam for the first 2 books. But it gives more depth to what's going on for them. It was pretty good read!

I liked this novel, but I didn’t like it as much as the previous one. I love the author and I’ve read all of her books in this world. There was a cliffhanger at the end of Mine, and I was curious to see what would happen next. However, this instalment was just a retelling of Her and Mine from Alana’s and Kam’s perspectives. I knew that going into this one and despite being slightly disappointed, I still liked it.

There are more tidbits that we discover that were missing from Mine and Her, so I’m glad about that. I am invested in both Ian and Alana and Megan and Kam. I do have to say I like Alana and Ian a little bit more. They have more chemistry with each other, and I like Alana as a character. I understand that some readers view her as a bitch, but I understand her frustration. DID is difficult for every person involved. I am frustrated with Megan because she hasn’t been completely honest with Kam, so I’m curious to see how the story will unfold. I like Alana and Ian, but I just wanted Megan/Alana to be happy whatever her future looks like. However, I can’t see Kam adjusting to Alana.

It took me some time to warm up to this series, but I got more invested in it after reading Mine. I want to see how this series ends, but I know the next instalment isn’t the conclusion. I’ll have to wait just as much as every else, but I’m curious to see who Megan/Alana will choose. Also, given the cliffhanger at the end of Mine, I have no idea what to expect going forward.
